Bakura swore, putting the coat over Rei. He was muttering something under his breath, trying to figure out what he should be doing. What could be done?

out of nowere her shaking,pale bloody hand reached out and grasped bakuras hand tightly amost like to make sure he was still there. "ku.....ra.." she muttered the first words she had said sence this happen.

A small smile crossed overher face as her eyes locked with his "I...I love you 'kura..." she said before her eyes started to close.

Bakura froze, his eyes widening slightly as he realized something. Lowering himself so that he was at Rei's level, he whispered the words he would have never thought he would say again. "I love you too..." Tears formed in his eyes, and he quickly wiped them away. "Don't leave me. Stay with me. I love you..."

Rei's hand tighted its grip.You could tell she was fighting to stay awake.She moved her head up enough were sheplaced a gentle kiss on the corner is his lips leaving her own bloody lip print "love you....kura...love you.." she said agian she before she passed out her body limp.

Bakura picked Rei up, or at least he grabbed her by her shoulders and hugged her tightly, lifting her top half slightly off the ground, and rocked back and forth slightly, repeating the three words that he had sworn off forever. "I love you... I love you... I love you..." The tears he had been holding back spilled out, and he wept openly, his whole body shaking.

Rei's head rested gently on bakuras bare chest.She was still alive just very very weak.

Rei's eyes slowly opened.A soft groan passed her lips her body felt like it had been lit on fire.

Bakura hadn't left Rei's side the while, and was slumped against a pillar nearby, his head bowed as he slept uneasily.

Rei weakly turned on her side and started coughing shutting her eyes tight in pain.

Bakura jerked, and saw Rei coughing. He quickly went over to her, helping her stay on her side so that she didn't choke or anything. He rubbed her back, silent.

After a moment rei calmed down then looked up to bakura blinking.This questioned that fact that she thought she was dead.She quietly reached out and gently cuped his cheak praying he was real.
