Lindsey glanced at Shadow unsurely.
"Thanks..." she mumbled.
Then she realized that they were in the middle of the forest.
"Great, I really appreciate it Shads, but how do we get back?"
"I agree with Lindsey on this one." Sonic said.
He scanned his surroundings and he found that he acctually like the forest quiet a bit. It was so queit and peacful...

""This place gives me the creeps." Lindsey said suddenly.

"Okay," Lindsey said and walked up to Heather and slid her arm through hers. "Lead the way then!"
She grinned at her friend.
Sonic smiled at them and gave Heather a thumbs up.
Even though he was having a nice time away from station square, he felt he should be getting back, at least by tomorow.

Lindsey cringed at Shadow's ruddensss.
"Whatever. We don't need that dead weight anyways, right you guys?" Lindsey said, offering her arm to Sarah. "Cuz I know that Sonic will protect us! Right?"
Sonic nodded and smiled.
"Sure thing you guys! I'm ready when you are."
"Well then. lead the way, Heath!" Lindsey said, pointing towards some random, direction.

Lindsey giggled and sang in an undertone, "If he only had a brain!" and pointed at Sonic, then laughed.

Heather laughed at her friends silliness as she began to walk through the forest, leading her friends. Hopefully she would remember the forest better then she made it sound. They seemed to be pretty deep in the forest, but probably not too far. "So... That was Eggman...?" She said, helf to herself as she thought back to the fight and half out loud to start a conversation.

(*Gasp!* I... live?! eek lol)

'Why am I not so sure...?' Heather thought with a troubled look on her face. Villians just don't attack because they can. They always have a reason. In fact, if she remember correctly, Eggman seemed like he had no idea Sonic was even here.


(I'm gonna bring another character into the picture in a bit X3 You may be able to guess who due to my recent obsession XD)

Lindsey and Sonic shrugged.
"What else is there to talk about?" Lindsey said.
'I hope this won't take that long to get home- my mom will have my head!'

(I was reading this RP and I must bring it back! Think about the laughs, people! The laughs!! gonk PLEASE! I get bored on weekends!!!)


Lindsey found herself standing in front of the arcade with her friends close at hand.
"Well, I guess that this is where we say our goodbyes..." she said. "What a way to start the summer!!I'll see you two tomorrow, okay?" Lindsey said to Heather and Sarah, giving them each a hug in turn. Sonic offered to take her home but she politely declined.
"I'll be fine on my own thanks."
And she made her way down the street, wondering if Moony was already back at the house. How was she going to face her Mom...?
When she got to the front door, she opened it and snuck into the quiet house. Jared was still up, watching some horror movie and there was a clatter in the kitchen and Lindsey went to it to find her Mom stacking dishes. Lindsey slid into a barstool and watched her mom work for a bit before she cleared her throat.
"Hi, Mom!" she said with a smile.
"Hello, how was your last day of school?"
"Fine..." she said quietly. "Hey, I was wondering... if I wanted to have a friend over for awhile, like the thing we did last summer with Sarah(making crap up) could I do it again this summer?"
Her Mom placed cups on the top rack.
"Hmmm, I dunno. We've got Billy up this summer~"
"I promise that he won't be any trouble!" she blurted.
Her mom froze and turned towards her.
"Come again?"
Lindsey took a deep breath and the trial began. Outcome: Unknown.
