*Having an already short attention span when it came to things like this, it was an amazing feat that D-Roy had stood near the girls so silently, for so long, without going to find something else to do. When the conversation between the shinigami and his fellow arrancars turned to fighting, he'd had enough. Without a word, he'd tipped an invisible hat to the group of girls (Noitora included), and decided to see what Grimmjow was up to now. He'd walked around awkwardly but failed to see any sign of the guy. He wouldn't have left D-Roy here alone when all this is going on would he? At that moment, he was completely oblivious that he was standing pretty much exactly below the floating GJ.* WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU, GRIMMJOW?

-After surveying the couple of brawls that transpired, his attention veered to a scrawny, annoying arrancar just below his feet. What he was hollering about was enough to make him involuntarily cringe. He dropped from his suspended state until his foot was level with the back of that dunce's head. He cranked said foot back only to send it squarely into the back of D-Roy's unfortunately protected head. It probably wasn't forceful enough to send him flying or anything like that, but it wasn't just a tap either.- Dumbass, I toldja to get lost. And quit actin' like a dimwit all the time.

*D-Roy, still completely unaware of Grimmjow being anywhere near him, obviously didn't notice where he was until it was too late. And by too late, D-Roy was already flying forward into the ground while hearing that familiar voice, before he realized he was close by; the force of the kick and the fact that he'd had no prior warning of an 'attack' from behind caused him to lose his balance completely and all but collapse into the floor. Being so top-heavy, it's doubtful that he could have braced himself and stayed upright even if he did have a warning.* What the ******** was that for?! *His words were muffled; falling flat and having your face pressed against the ground would do that to anyone.*
