"Tch... can't see an inch in front of my face in this s**t," one of the soldiers said as he once again cleaned the muck off of his blade. "Rifleman, get another distress call out, see if it won't work." The scout nodded and pulled out his radio. "This is RI Security Five, calling for any known friendly units in the area. We are FUBAR and need immediate support, ASAP. Do you copy?"

Another roar. "s**t," Daniel said harshly, "There's no end to these things. Stand firm, we got company!"

And thus, the whole thing started all over again as they drew their blades.

The vines formed grew into a pentagram shape at the call of this strange man.
Druid Magic

Nature Summoning Medium: World Seed!
Near by vines grew huge and then formed into a pentagram shape at the call of the strange man. Finally they glowed green with druidic magic as a huge seed just over half the strangers height appeared in the pentagram's exact center.
It radiated a huge magical aura for it's size.

The seed soon start levitating with near reckless speed as the man used his powers to send it hurtling into the nearest Draconian Zombie's skull and then he would repeat his actions with another enemy if successful.

There was some interference with the radio signal, but it would go through to whoever was in range to hear them. Of course, the dilemma was this . . . who was around to hear them?

The zombies that came this time were no different, and fell to the group's weapons, leaving the way clear once again.

---

Back at the village, the two small armies rumbled towards each other on a collision course . . . and smashed together with an earth-shaking mix of sounds.

Blades flashed, spears were thrust, claws tore, and fangs ripped. The roar of the battlefield was deafening.

Trakkan stood out among the fray, swinging his mighty blade with expertise that came with years of experience. It made a humming noise as it cut through the air, and smashed and sliced its way effortlessly through any creature that came within seven feet of him.

Some distance away, the tree man's seed smashed into skull after skull, splitting them like ripe watermelons.

After the battle, the transmission was sent again, and there was a heavy amount of static. "Crap... radio's scrambled. I'm not getting a clear response."

Daniel's eyes narrowed. "Looks like we're gonna have to wing it. Keep moving."

Within the next hour, they steadily gained ground, fighting off hordes of enemies, one group after another. They soon reached their zodiac and searched around for any signs of hostile activity. It wouldn't be easy, getting back to the boat, but then again what was?

For now, the beachfront was quiet . . . There didn't seem to be any undead nearby. The zodiac waited patiently for them.

Daniel noticed that it was quiet from his positon at the tree line. He nodded towards the leader of the security detail and said, "Haul a**, get in that boat."

One after another, they sprinted, fast and low, towards the inflatable boat. It was all too quiet out here... too quiet was not good. But they moved anyway, Daniel being the last in line and covering the rear. He was also the one to shove the boat towards the surf zone before hopping in himself. "Let's get moving and restock. See if anyone's alive up there..."

It wouldn't take long to reach the main boat, maybe twenty minutes or so . . . and when they did . . . they would hear nothing but the water lapping against the hull, and see no sign of life upon the deck.

Large streaks of half-dried blood covered the sides of the frigate . . .

"These pest are starting to annoy me. It's time for me to do some fly swating!"
Yelled the druid in out of annoyance though he had something big planned.

Druidic Magic

Dryad Titan Form: Rapid Growth Technique
The Druid started changing into something else and there was not enough spare time to wait for the transformation to slowly happen so, instead he drew upon some the latent magical abilities of the World Seed to rapidly accelerate the cycle of his transformation. His limbs now looked like giant limbs connected my masses of magical vines. His collosal toes were root like and his whole body obviously looked like some kind of giant tree creature.

The druid started struggling to keep up the form as long as he could while trying to swat down as many air born enemies as he could before the transformation reversed with his titantic hands.

Well ******** me...

Oh yes, plenty of death everywhere. Yummy. They would not assume there were no survivors, however. No, they would definitely be on the lookout for anything moving, be it living or fresh dead. At least their targets were clearly defined now.

"Two man search teams, fifty meter spread. I want every inch of this ship combed for weapons, supplies, and personnel. We are going to get back at these bastards for this."

Bodies, both human and Draconian, littered the deck. Bullet casings rolled underfoot. It was easily a scene that could have come straight from a horror movie. There was blood, and body parts, and innards everywhere . . .

Still, all was silent.

Horror movie, war zone, same difference. Two of them headed down to the lower decks while the others began a security sweep up top. It was too quiet, too bloody, and too goddamned eerie. They had survived via superior tactics, but as long as this fog was here, there wouldn't be an end to this.

At least, they thought so.

"Sir," Daniel's radio suddenly buzzed, "We got a pressure-sealed door down here. Looks like we do have some survivors after all. Orders?"

Daniel sighed in relief and said, "Get them calm, get it open, get them out. I want a full SitRep in ten minutes tops."

"Yes, Sir."

Unfortunately, it seemed fate was intent on ******** around with them a bit more. There was a lonely screech from far above . . . and moments later, a trio of flying undead swooped out of the fog from above. They swooped along the top of the deck and tackled into members of the group, intending to pin them against the ground and rip them to shreds with their dedly claws and teeth.

Two managed to evade the incoming zombiis. One did not make it, and he screamed as he was torn into and eaten alive. The thing about that was that the other two had the opportunity to flank the birdie and... well, go to town on it.

The Draconian that found its mark fell victim ro the weapons of the pair that flanked it. However, the two that had missed swooped back up into the mists after their prey had evaded them . . . and returned a few seconds later, going after two more group members.

This time, they were a bit more ready. Once they got within range, one got a leg clipped off with a nice solid swing of the machete. The other was tackled in mid air as the remaining topside guard took a ride, trying to beat the other beastie into submission. "Take that, you nasty ********!" he shouted as he delivered a punch to its face.
