Kay returned back to the pool table after Libby started to tending to her other customers. She racked 9 balls and broke, going right to work to see if she could run out. It was hard for her to do, but she figured if she would get better at it, it would take time and practice. She would have much rather smack someone else around doing it, but ultimately it wouldn't have mattered. She made easy work of the one ball, hitting it hard and to the right so the cue ball would come back around for the two that was on the other end of the table. She rolled in the two, lining up for an easy shot on the 3. She slammed in the 3 to get position for the 4, but the cue ball stopped a bit short and snookered herself so she had no direct shot at it. She curved the cue around the nine ball and hit the 4, but the 4 careened into the cushion, not even close to any pocket. "s**t!"

Libby serves him the drink and charges him a small fee.
"you're kinda young," she says, testing his nervousness.

He gave her a tiny smile and took a sip of the sake. It had been a while since he'd had good sake, mostly since almost every place he knew of either didn't have it or wouldn't serve him. "If you thought I was too young to drink this then I doubt that you would have served it to me. Besides, I can hold my alcohol better than anyone I know, cept for my grandfather."

"hmm... I see. Well, you're lucky. Cuz I don't card." She winks at him. "And usually I don't charge, either," she adds, tossing him back his money.

He smiled at her as she winked at him, catching his money and stuffing it back into his pocket. "Are you sure that it's alright to be giving me this for free? I mean, I don't want to take advantage of you or anything..."

"My money comes from the island. I only take tips." Libby takes a metal cigarette case from her back pocket, opens it, and finds it empty. "Oh, yeah..." She disappears to the back and returns with a new pack of cigarettes in her hand, tapping them against her palm.

Jack held the money out to her once more as he took another sip of his sake. "Then consider it a tip from a happy, and completly legal, customer." He gave her a tiny smirk as he said the last bit.

Libby smirks. "heh. Okay. If you need anything else, just let me know," she says, wondering back off to play pool.

((I can't believe I accidentally typed wonder instead of wander. I'm such a jackass... and too lazy to go back and fix it.))
Libby watches Kay, waiting for her to finish her practice.

Kay went on and shot the 4 ball in, an easy shot after missing it the first time. She then slammed in the five, and lined up for a 6 to 9 ball combo. She eased into the 6 ball which careened into the 9, sending it into the corner pocket.
"Not bad." She started to limp back towards a chair. Her knee was bothering her.

A wirey young man around 6ft tall appeared at the doorway, opening it roughly, and shutting it behind him slowly, his golden eyes gazed around the bar. He stepped fowards into a better light, his royal red samurai garbs tucked into his tightly bound Obi, his samurai pants covered his wooden sandles. He strode over to the bar, his sandles thumping of the floor as he went. He took a seat and tied his hair back revealing his pale scar torn face.

"Yes, I'm alright." Kay said. "My knee hasn't healed fully yet and whenever I'm up and about for a while it starts to aggravate me. The doctor said that it's good to exercise it though."
