((All right, now this is my own reply to Kana's post...))
Kai had to grin at Miki's remark about needing more training and losing. He shook his head, allowing a good-natured smile to cross his features.
"You may not have won, Miki...but neither did Hiyomura..."
Kei sat back on her heels, smiling as well. "Yes, it was a tie, Miki-san; and thank you, too, for battling. I see I still have much to work on..."
When the younger girl tried to get up and stumbled in the process, Kai fairly leapt up and hurried to support her. "Not so fast," he cautioned, "You're still exhausted; you shouldn't move too much."
Well, this was new. Kei was slightly taken aback at how much Kai was willing to speak around his sister. Then, it was understandable, as they were family, after all. "Miki-san, perhaps you should lie down..." the brunette suggested, worried for the slightly younger blader.
She couldn't help but feel responsible for the blue-haired girl's condition. "I'm sorry," she began, "I should have accepted it when it was apparent you'd defeat me rather than pushing you like this. I should have-"
Kai cut her off then and there. "What the hell is that drivel you're spouting, Hiyomura? As far as the battle is concerned, no one is defeated until one or both blades have stopped spinning, and at no time did that happen until you knocked Miki and yourself out.
"And you've forgotten: a true blader doesn't concede defeat while still in the stadium; that's cowardice. Which one you are, I leave up to you to decide."
Once more he turned his attention to his sister. "Miki... what happened to you back there?

((And now, Kana's reply. I copied it out verbatim, so...))
Miki held on to her brother and gave a reassuring smile. “Don’t worry I am alright”. Then her brother raised the question, she looked down and looked back both Kai and Kei “Well, my attacks sort of had a flaw. My ice has the power to absorb energy and transfer it to my blade so I can have more endurance. But my final attack takes out all the energy I absorbed into one final attack. But since I was using my own energy and storing the absorbed energy, it will result to no energy at all. So I can only do that once. But I will be exhausted afterwards. “Miki, finally regaining back some of her energy, stood up and gave a nod to her brother saying that she is fine. She took her beyblade and showed them a picture of a white phoenix.
“This is Drizzard. She is my bitbeast. You probably noticed that she looks a bit like Dranzer, Oniichan” Miki gave a soft chuckle.

((...yes, this time this is MY reply, for those who haven't caught on xD))
One slate eyebrow arched up again, this time in interest rather than in disbelief or to punctuate a question. "Interesting ability, but yes, it is kind of...flawed." He sighed, then laid his hand on her head. "Why you chose to use it, I don't know. You do know that you could have used another tactic rather than exhaust yourself...don't you, Miki?"
Kei was interested as well. "This...Drizzard... its female?" she asked. She didn't know about her teammate and trainer, but she was beginning to see a pattern regarding the slightly younger girl.
"Speaking of which..." Kai went on, reaching out and gently taking Miki's blade from her to take a closer look. "When did you come across Drizzard?" he wanted to know.
((Eeep, shortness! gomen... ^^; ))

Miki blinked a little and resumed her explanation “Well, I came upon Drizzard when I was still back at the Abbey. I was searching a bitbeast since Grandfather wasn’t there. I came across her when I was down by the laboratories and we just…sort of connected. So I decided to secretly put her in a bit and steal some modified parts from the offices and put it together. I have been with her ever since”.
Miki took a deep breath and went to answer her brother’s earlier question“I thought you will like it better if I won, Onii-chan. You probably don’t remember how Grandfather use to criticize my lack of self-esteem. He will always tell me that he thinks that you are better off as the only child and I shouldn’t have been born. He only noticed I exist when I revealed to him that I had abilities.” Miki softly told her brother resulting to her head looking down for the moment.

Kai nodded, identifying with his sister's story. Though Dranzer had been given to him to use, the slate-haired blader had always felt a close bond with his bit beast. Apparently, it was the same for Miki, even though she had found hers.
But then, he was always of the thought that the bit beasts chose their masters and partners, rather than the other way around.
As for the rest of Miki's explanation...
Kei shook her head in disbelief. Favoritism... it had always struck her as unfair. And here was proof of its destructive quality, standing in front of her.
Kai sighed irritatedly, hands in fists at his hips. "That stupid old goat..." he muttered. "Where does he get off, telling you things like that? The idiot..."
He handed Drizzard's blade back to Miki and said, "In any case, it doesn't take glasses and a genius IQ to see that youv'e improved..." To Kei, he added, "Hiyomura, you need to work on your defense. In both yesterday and today's battles, that's what I've noticed. And you -" he turned back to Miki - "you need to work on your speed a bit." He made to ruffle her hair again, but thought better of it as they weren't alone.
"Hmm..." Kei looked thoughtful, arms crossed loosely over her chest. "I knew that I needed to work on my defense; so what should I do?"
Kai was already at the door, his duffel bag slung over his shoulder. "This way," he called, gesturing with his head to the corridor outside. They were going to have to transfer training rooms, the way things were going.

As Maria went to the strength machine Keji had gone to the control machine although he was a sacred soul bearer he still lacked the control to bite the opponent even just once and let his venom do the work.
Maria picture the machine as a beyblade. She knew herself that other than having lack of attack power was that she was hesitant. As she was when fighting. Even with her speed she always had a slight hesitation.

((For reasons of convenience, I have combined both mine and Kana's replies while she has yet to create another account for her to use, as per Kana's request.))
Miki gave a gentle nod and followed her brother and her just recent opponent to the next room. She almost look like she was struggling to walk but she managed to. She didn’t want to further worry her brother. Then a voice in her head reappeared.
”Mistress, are you alright?”
”Yes, I am alright. Don’t worry about me Drizzard.”
”If you are sure, mistress. I wont argue with you.”
”Thank you Drizzard
And the conversation was over. Miki continue to walk until she almost fell but managed to let herself stand with her right foot.
------------------------------
Diana was still on top of the roof as she noticed Miki was trying to walk properly but failing. She quickly darted to Kai’s mind and said in a clear but not loud voice.
MESSAGE: Kai, Miki is trying to walk but she is sorta helpless. Go and help and also, she is still slightly weak. Don’t exhaust her too much ok? END MESSAGE
Diana was far from worried for her best friend. She almost had a case of heart attack when she passed out!
-------------------------------
Back in the hallway, Kei had noticed Miki's struggle and immediately tried to call Kai's attention to it. "Uh...Hiwatari-san..."
Kai didn't like the tone of Kei's voice - it sounded slightly worried - and he turned around. His new teammate's call had come at around the same time Diana's message worked its way into his mind, so he already knew what he'd see, to some extent. But in the hallway lighting, quite different from the lighting in the training room, the crimson-eyed teen noticed just how pale Miki really was.
//All right, Murphy... and I'm not so heartless as to force Miki to tire herself out again...//
He sighed again, then strode over to her and bent over slightly, wordlessly offering a ride on his back... just as he used to when they were younger.

Keiji stretched his arms after finishing part of the machine. "Maria want something to eat I don't remember eating breakfast. I'll go get some drinks." Keiji said.
"ok" Maria said concentrated on the machine.
Keiji them went out the room and Maria suddenly remembered.
'Kai-sama and the others must be here and he might meet them. I wonder if he'll pass by him.' she realized then quickly got her blade and went to the door. Before she went out she shouted at the puppet blader, "You don't stop training."
She then caught up with him and said, "I'll go get them Keiji I'll buy a lot for training"
"no way. No man would be known letting a girl carry stuff."Keiji answered.
"Well I'm still coming" Maria answered as they walked with each other.

Miki knew that she didn’t have any strength to argue with her brother and allowed herself to be carried again once more. She let her head lay down on the crook of his neck and whispered so they only knew what she is saying. ”Oniichan, arigatou. Anata no daisuki…” she whispered softly with a small smile on her face. Clutching tighter to her brother, she felt a bit sleepy from her exhaustion but she fought her lack of sleep and forced her eyes to open.
"Ii, Mit-chan...anta mo daisuki darou..." Kai replied, just as quietly, fixing his grip on her so that she sat more comfortably across his back, not leaning too much on any one side.
Presently, he found the training room he was looking for, reached out, and pushed the door open, slipping inside as smoothly as he knew how.
Kei followed close behind - good thing she'd remembered to retrieve her blade before leaving the first training room - and went inside, too.
Truth be told, she found it touching how Kai could care so much for someone, and she felt glad, somehow, that he wasn't so guarded about it. She was glad to have been able to see a different side of the Hiwatari Kai she'd heard so much about and seen on television and all; it was... a refreshing change.
Setting her bag down on a nearby bench provided by the management, she stood at the ready. "So... what do you want me to do, Hiwatari-san?"
Kai stopped where he was, and half-turned to look over his shoulder at the brunette. "There's an automatic launcher over there that launches a new Beyblade every two minutes. You'd need to have defended yourself well against the first one by the time the second blade comes along, and then the third, and so on." A slight smirk on his face, the slate-haired teen went on.
"Defeat as many of the blades as you can, using only your defensive techniques."
A daunting task, to be sure, but Kei merely nodded, her mouth set in a grim, thin line. "All right..." was all she said before turning and heading towards the machine that her teammate and trainer had indicated.

((From Kana and myself: We'll miss you, Icey! *cry* Take care and have fun on vacation.))
Miki was still clutched to her brother and was trying her hardest not to fall asleep. Until a certain dark-haired girl, who was now hanging upside down on the ceiling, was looking down at all 3 persons. Diana just gave a small sigh and smirked a bit and turned to Kai again and gave another message. MESSAGE: Miki is getting sleepy. She is apparently trying to stay awake so she can be ready to your training. That’s what she is thinking right now. And by the way, if you want to know where I am…well…look up END MESSAGE
At that, Kai glanced upward... to see the other brunette upside-down, hanging from what must have been a rafter in the ceiling. What the hell-?!
After the initial moment of surprise, Kai shrugged it off. He'd made appearances enough similar to that - he had to admit doing them had been fun. Taking his cue from Diana's recent message, he snuck a look at the girl resting on his back who, sure enough, looked to be struggling against sleepiness.
The phoenix blader rolled his eyes good-naturedly. Just like Miki to do such a thing. "Miki?" he asked, his voice still quiet. "You ought to rest for a while. Besides, I need to oversee Hiyomura's training..."
Bright red numbers signalled the countdown, and Kei launched in unison with the machine. Small sparks flew when the two blades - one blue and one white - touched the stadium and began circling.
Dutifully, Kei stayed in the center, waiting for the other blade to attack. Meanwhile, the timer was counting down to the next blade launch.
C'mon... move it!

Miki looked at her big brother when she heard his silent request. “But, I have to do your obstacles right? Besides, I don’t think there is a place where I can rest for the moment. Daijoubu oniichan, I’ll manage.” She protested quietly. Miki looked at where Kei was and noticed she was already training and smiled inside her mind for her, cheering her on in her thoughts as well. Sometimes she can’t seem to help but agree with her brother’s wishes. True she was really very tired and rest is a good option but she softly chuckled at how they were the same in some ways.
"You don't have to go to sleep," Kai began, "Just... lie down or something..." Boy, was he having difficulty now. Though it was true that one never really stopped being an older sibling, Kai just wasn't as used to it anymore. But he wanted to be, if only for Miki.
He brought her over to the same bench where Kei had left her bag, and then pushed said bench closer to the wall so the younger girl would have something to lean on while she rested. "C'mon, you can stay here, if you like..."
At the training machine, Kei had just somehow managed to defeat the first blade - using purely defensive techniques, as per instructions - with 20 seconds remaining before the next launch.
Maybe Hiwatari-san meant the speed at which I manage to throw off an attack, not my defensive capabilities per se... the brunette thought, catching her blade only at attach it once more to her launcher. And just in time for the next battle. She knew, though, that she shouldn't jump to conclusions about what Kai wanted from her; she'd have to be patient and allow her teammate and trainer to reveal it to her.
A brief glance over her shoulder told her that Kai was still taking care of Miki. She smiled, heartened by the closeness she saw in the two siblings. In any case, such things weren't her affair, and she turned back to her training. She had to prove her worth to the team - the Blitzkrieg Boys - somehow, and it was enough that Kai was actually willing to help her shape up, so to speak. She wanted to make sure that the slate-haired blader wasn't wasting his time on her.

Miki gave her twin a grateful smile and leaned close to the wall and rested her hands on her lap. She really was tired. She needed a lot of rest now. She looked down at her hand and noticed she was still holding Drizzard. She suddenly remembered something. She looked up to her brother and said “Oniichan, is it ok if I ask you a favor? It’s only for a short while."
Kai nodded, leaning on the wall as he did so in his somewhat patented pose, only less rigid-looking, purely because he was with Miki, not to mention the other Blitzkrieg Boys member was engrossed with her training - a good sign, in his opinion.
It hadn't escaped the crimson-eyed teen that his sister had just glanced at her blade before asking if she could ask a favor of him. This... intrigued him, and now he didn't think he could say no - in fact, he never could say no to Miki, and if he ever did, he was forced to do so. Well, whatever.
"So...what is it?
"Ah, damn!" Kei cursed under her breath. She'd been knocked out quite suddenly, and had nearly gotten lobbed upside her head with her own blade.
A smaller monitor on the machine recorded the stats: 1 win, 1 loss.
Not for long... Kei thought, readying herself to launch again.

Maria looked around and found golden blonde hair dye on sale and bought it as she was out of stock having used the last one with her hair. It was not only that she wanted to change to hide her old self. It was what she though to be nice.
They then bought the items and went back to the room
