froggyfluf there was a kid in our band that used to keep track of our 'band family tree'. he graduated *tear*, but he had about 4-5 years worth of relationships within the band plotted out on a huge piece of paper. you know we got problems when you start mapping squares and octagons. we have one of those too... well in my band here are the relationships: Mine: me, bass clarinet him, tuba<3 others: trumpet, piccolo/flute <3 trumpet, tenor sax<3 flute/piccolo, clarinet<3 bassoon/clarinet, french horn <3 percussion, french horn 3 trumpet, pit 3 trumpet, clarinet 3 alto/tenor/bari sax, trumpet 3 alto/tenor/bari sax, cheerleader 3 percussion, dancer <3 I think that's it...there's been others, but I cant think of any

I'm in a band-lationship. Of course, my girlfriend lives 200 miles away... but so what. We're both in the band... and met in a band activity last summer.... that counts.

I dated the first Clarinet (male) from our rival school boy did I run into trouble.. Ended up breaking up a month later and hanging out even more..
We have one relationship in our band he is a tenor and she is a flute player.. He originally liked our only French horn player(good friend of mine) and shes really sensitive.. And he went out with the flute player who used to be her best friend.. It ******** up the band so bad because the tenor's sister was friends with the conductor.. and well the families aren't to close anymore because our french horn got hurt and didn't deserve it.. And in Vancover ms. french horn caught them making out in the middle of the floor in our hotel.. Eww... Mr.Tenor and Ms. Flute are now social out casts and serves them right he to quiet and she just plainly sucks.. Or as Bobby Harriot would say "Nice Shoes".
P.S. It a nice way of saying the only good thing about you is your shoes.

I think almost every relationship i've been in was a band-lationship. I dated a melaphone, a trombone, a bassoon (man HE was weird!), and 2 trumpets. I married the second trumpet heart Besides me, there were a ton of other ones. My used-to-be best friend was going out with a trombone guy and was flirting with a baritone... the three of them ended up in that back seat of the charter bus with her in the middle.... she claims that at one point, both of them were trying to put the moves on her at the same time and didn't even realize it! eek who's to say any of that's true... but there have been people caught in the "act" on that back seat before! eek enough of it happened that caused the director to make us sit boys on one side and girls on the other for long or overnight trips! I can't say much though... I took that band purity test thing and it says I'm 59% band corrupt! twisted

Yes... We have 2...
My step-sister (Piccolo player) and her Botfriend (trumpet).... members of the 2 cockiest sections... No offence.... I play Picc as well... Well, they were caught smooching in the hallway... By the principal.... And he dragged them into the bandroom and yelled at them... Telling 'em to "Get a room"..... Not a good Idea.... He's a senior and she's a sophmore....
another
Pookie (not his real name), one of our drum majors, had had 5 girlfriends since bandcamp started a month ago... it's quite amusing...

There are a few band members that are dating each other. A lot of them go for the older guys, football players, or track girls. That''s just how it seems to be. I don''t date band guys. I date guys who play an instrument though. heart blaugh

I swear this is just coincidence: Every guy i have ever dated has played an instrument. Trombone, fellow clarinet, drummer, french horn, saxophone, and I am currently dating a guitar player. I've realized that all of my relationships with guys in band with me have ended badly, but my bf is not in marching band with me, he just plays guitar. He used to be in a garage band & sold an album before he moved. He was lead singer... heart

God there are so many relationships going on within the band, it's not even funny. It seems like all of the new freshmen are paired off and then there are all of the upperclassmen.
I actually have a friend who has gone out with all but two of the upperclass guys. rolleyes But then there are the funny little relationships where you don't know who is going out with whom because everyone flirts too much.
Our senior tuba player has gone out with the majority of the clarinet girls over the past few years. Even when he was a freshman, he went out with the juniors and seniors.... and even over the summer, he's been out with two of my fellow clarinets. It all comes down to wondering who's going to be next.

im out of a bandlationship with a bass drum now......it was a weird relationship....hokay
well, now im being ruthlessly hit on by random guys. especially the new freshmen. im really short and too young to be a sophomore (im supposed to be a freshman acutally) so theyre like "so, i hear you have a bit of a p***s-phobia....i could help you with that! *raise eyebrow*" and im like *runs away, hides behind junior girl that looks out for me*
and then theres the random occasional one that walks up next to me and puts his arm around me o_O or that pit guy.....hes like uber tall and likes to stare.
sometimes i want to leave guard.....damn freshmen
