She ate her cookie, "Okies." She said around the cookie, "Did you have a girlfriend when you were human?" She asked suddenly.

"No." Psych shook his head. "I've always been somewhat of a recluse. I don't usually get along with people well."

She rolled her eyes up to think, "True." She closed the cookie box, "I'm glad we get along, you're pretty cool." She grinned at him.

"Thanks." Psych slowly stood. He blinked a few time blearily. "I think the food has made me drowsy."

"Then to bed!" She proclaimed, "After I was the dishes, hold on." She turned the tap on and began scrubbing at the dishes, rinsing then setting them on the dry rack. She made quick work of it, putting the box of cookies away and switching off the light. She had to pause as her eyes adjusted to the sudden darkness.

Psych's eyes had no difficutly adjusting, but he waited patiently for Orb to lead the way.

After a few more moments she started moving, just as quietly as they had gone down but she suddenly jumped when her parents' door opened and her father slipped out. Orb pushed Psych against the wall so he was submerged in gloom, "Papa!"
Her father froze then blinked, "Orb? What are you doing up this late? Are you alright?" He asked.
Orb smiled, "I was hungry." She said, "Just got finished with a midnight snack." She replied moving forward.
He chuckled, "That's where I'm heading." He murmered.
"Cereal?" She asked.
"Am I really that predictable?" He asked.
"Only sometimes." She murmered.
He gave her a kiss on her forehead, "I'll let you get back to sleep."
"Good night."
Good night." Orb waited until he'd started descending the stairs before she relaxed, "Whew, that was close..." She murmered.

"Come on." She grabbed ahold of his wrist and towed him down the hall and into her room, shutting the door and leaning against it, "Wonder if I'll manage to get to sleep again." She murmered, grinning her mirth.

Psych was now extremely tense and he moved laid down in the shadows. He felt safer there, and it would be easier to calm down.

Orb noticed he hadn't moved towards the bed. She blinked and moved towards him cautiously, "Psych?" She asked.
