The Jedi kinda also fit into his hatred of the Republic.
Not to mention, tis not a normal feat to kill a jedi single handed.

Lets see. Once he took six jedi.
One died of a cheap shot.
two others died by his hand.
two were almost mortally wounded.
One stayed fighting.
I love the smell of napalm in the morning, but that's a different story.

If you read Labyrinth of Evil he hates the Jedi for 2 reasons: 1.) because the Huk (his opponent in their little colonial war) appealed to the republic, who sent 50 Jedi, which owned Grievous' troops. 2.) because he was trained by Count Dooku, who also hates the Jedi.

FrozenPhoenix32 After the Ruusan Reformation, where did most Jedi get their lightsaber crystals from? Illum? I'm drawing a blank on the Ruusan Reformation, when was that? FrozenPheonix32 Name two people that wielded lightwhips? There was a bounty hunter from the Jedi Apprentice books . . . Ona Nobis was her name, or something like that. I can't think of anyone else right now. I'm a bit off my game today.

Illum is correct (other worlds also, but their main Crystal World was destroyed)
According to the New Essential Guide to Weapons and Technology, Ona Nobis did use a Light Whip, but two are the Dark Lady Lumiya and Lord Xist

According to Wookieepedia, Ona's whip wasn't a lightwhip, but I'll take the NEGTWAT over a user-made encyclopedia.
