My name is Chris, I'm 17 and live in Maryland. If anyone wants to say hi, don't hesitate to PM! Those little things always make my day... biggrin

Umm... I'd love to have gold, but I don't want to take your money. It makes me feel bad. What I would like is some idea of how you MAKE that money... *kinda confused* Thank yas!

Post a lot and poll a lot... I think I can handle that. My mouth runs enough as it is, I think I can transfer that to the keyboard and get rich. *sigh* if only it were that easy in real life... oh well! biggrin

New member here. I'm currently not a member of the LDSs, I follow a sect of Yoga (mystical hinduism) called Kriya. However, I grew up a non-practicing Christian, and have contemplated returning to the church (as Kriya is heavily based in Christian teachings, and considers Jesus to be the head of their line of Gurus), while maintaining my Kriya practice. I used to believe that LDS was a cult, however after learning more, I am more inclined to say it isn't, and is simply called that by its detractors. I am currently stuck between rejoining Christianity, or joining the LDSs, which I guess will partly hinge on whether I can still maintain my Kriya practice in one or the other, or if I end up leaving the teachings and going back to the church altogether. Sorry for the run ons, etc, I just tend to forget about punctuation when I'm excited about something.

I don't think you've messed anything up in the Guild. Try having more confidence in yourself and in the Lord. 3nodding He'll guide you. biggrin

I've discovered that pretending to have confidence helps. After awhile, it becomes a habit and you actualy gain confidence. And when I say awhile, I mean quite awhile...

A trick I do, is walking purposefully. When I was younger, I'd be at a store and get separated from my mom. I'd start feeling nervous if I couldn't find her within a few minutes. And then I'd notice people looking at me, wondering what I was doing all alone. So I started walking as if I knew what I was doing, so they wouldn't bother me. Then I realized that it made me feel as if I did have some idea of what I was doing... (Does that make any sense?)
