Awaking to the sound of shouting a few hours later, Amaya yawned. She sat up and streched. She took her robe off, but looked over at Roran. Something didn't seem right. She walked over to him and kissed him, gently placing a hand on his cheek. "What's wrong? Is something troubling you?" Amaya said, looking at him concerned. She was worried about him, but then she thought about her sisters, and how Amy never came, when she told her that she would, and now she was really concerned.

Seeing any chance Princess Amy-Lee had of fighting on her own slip away, Xander was forced to step in. Hoping the Princess could set her pride aside, he grabbed the man by his neck, hitting a few nerves that made him drop Princess Amy-Lee. Now, making sure the leader would not come any near her, Xander threw him against a tree.

“I was fearing you would never step in!” Rico shouted, relieved Xander did step in, but far to late in his judgement.
“You do not understand, Rico. I would have wanted her to win this fight alone. I would mean a lot.” Seeing the leader getting slowly up, a bit confused of what’s going on, “We are done here. Rico, imprison him and any survivors.”
Kneeling where the leader stood, he picked up the Princess’ katana and put it away. Seeing she would hardly make it back on own strength, he carried her to the castle.

Once arriving, a medical team was awaiting them. Most likely prepared by the King. Xander put Princess Amy-Lee on a bed and left her Katana on a small table next to her.
“Inform the King on her condition.” He said to the doctor, walking out the medical room, he was approached by Rico.
“We have two assassins, not counting their leader. What are you orders?”
“Let them get some sleep. Tomorrow will be a painful day for them.” Walking away, he remembers something, “And take some men to their hideout, search it for anything valuable or important, how insignificant it may seem, then burn it.”

Xander, noticing his clothes were a bit bloody, decided to change them. Walking down the halls and up some stairs, he walk to his room. Putting his sword against the wall, he removed his clothes and took clean ones from his closet. Cleaning the blood of his hands and face, he was refreshed and could be displayed in public. Now he wore dark green pants, with a white shirt and a red robe. Grabbing his sword, he put his belt on, walking down the hall. Passing Roran’s room he heard two voices. ‘Would he know of my absent? Knowing how things go around here, he would. I shall explain everything later.’

Roran tried to smile at her kiss, but he couldn't. "Well," You have to tell her the truth or she'll never trust you again. Taking a deep breath, he placed his hands on her shoulder and gently pushed her to the bed, making her sit down. "You see, your sister, Amy, she has...she's been...well, kidnapped." Shutting his eyes tight for her reaction, he didn't need to wait long to be saved. A few moments passed and someone knocked on the door. Opening it, Roran was surprised to see his father.

Rasping on his son's door, he didn't quite expect to see Amaya accompanying him, but he was glad that he didn't need to hunt him down. "Good news, Amy-Lee is safe and has arrived with your brother." With that, he left the two alone.

Roran turned back to Amaya, smiling now. "You did hear that, correct?"

Amaya almost fainted when she heard the news, and she blamed herself. Tears fell from her eyes until she heard what the King had said. She nodded to Roran quietly and then shot out of the room, running down the corridors as fast as she could. She almost crashed into a nurse who had left the room, and hastily bowed, before walking in the room. The sight of her little sister brought even more tears to her eyes and she ran over, hugging her sister gently, making sure she wasn't hurting her as she sobbed. "Thank god you're okay." She sobbed. Of course she wasn't really okay, but Amaya feared that she was dead, and she was terrified of having to attend another funeral for her family.

"No! I'm just glad you're alive! I was so scared!" Amaya exclaimed, letting go of her sister. It pained her to see Amaya this way, but there was nothing she could do. "I was so scared that you were dead! I couldn't bear burying anyone else!" She sobbed, holding her head in her hands.

Seeing Princess Amaya run down the halls, he could have guessed where she’d ran of to. If she knew then Roran would also have know and that would mean his father also knew. Thus saving him to warn them he’d return with Princess Amy-Lee.
Xander walked to the stables, not entering them, but stay near them. Rico and his men were travelling on horse, and he wanted to know if they found something as soon as possible for he was troubled with something. While awaiting the news trained his sword skills by practicing on a dummy with a wooden sword. He mostly did this, as he had something on his mind, something troublesome that he can’t completely figure out.

Roran sighed as Amaya left. Shaking his head, he closed his eyes, sitting on his bed. Was this how things were going to be. One by one, they would be taken by some mercenary group out to get something for themselves until they were each killed? Was that how their lives were going to be? A tear fell from his eyes. He wished his two younger brothers would get here so they could help their Princess counterparts. Not that Amy or Vivian are weak. He chuckled, knowing that the Keros Princess were able to take care of themselves, but might need help along the way. He just hoped that, when his youngest brother came for Vivian, that her bird wouldn't become a problem. He had seen with his own eyes how that man whom she loved changed into that bird.

Rising to his feet, he wlaked out of his room, going to the kitchen. Getting a bowl of stew from the chef, he sat at one of the tables, eating in silence, thinking things over. He needed to find some way to keep the royal families from being taken. It was only a matter of time until someone came for Amaya, and he wouldn't allow that. Even if he had to die for her safety, he would do so. No one is getting her. Anger began to slowly boil in his system. What if she was taken, and he had no power to stop it? Impossible! No one will lay a finger on Amaya who isn't supposed to!

That doesn't mean someone won't try though, Roran. There probably already have been attempts! But I can't be with her all day, every day. It's only a matter of time until I slip up! Then she's taken and never comes back! I'll be the one to blame! DAMNIT! He banged his head on the table, his stew finished, bowly already removed. Keeping his head down, he didn't cry. He only made himself worry more and more as paranoid thoughts entered his head.
