"Okay," he said, smiling lopsidedly. "Thanks for letting me stay over again, a-and thanks for taking such good care of me." Although he had started out fine, his words gradually became quiet and timid by the time he was done. Riley did take good care of him even if he hadn't meant to let himself be taken care of in the first place.

He looked at Kaleb for a moment. "It's nothin. Gotta take care of yer friends and all." He didn't think anything of helping Kaleb since he'd been the one who hurt him in the first place.

After a moment of hesitation, Kaleb ignored his injured ankle long enough to crawl across the couch and get close enough to snuggle up against Riley. He blushed like mad and couldn't force himself to look up to see Riley's reaction, but at least one of his inner voices was purring happily. "I-It isn't nothing, a-and I really appreciate it," he muttered.

He looked down at Kaleb for a moment, "Good that ya do" before shaking his head slightly. After reaching for the remote for the tv he looped one arm over Kaleb' shoulder and went surfing the channels for something to watch.

Kaleb sighed in content sort of way. If Riley liked a warm body, maybe he would be pleased to have a warm body that came without being asked. The only downside was that Kaleb couldn't read his book in that position next to his partner, not without being horribly annoying, so he had to settle for watching whatever Riley was watching on TV.

He eventually settled on a program about ocean life. It was the least violent thing he could find that he had any interest in. He doubted Kaleb wanted to watch forensic shows with how twitchy he got about hurting people.

Kaleb watched the show for a bit before his mind started to wander. It was a nice enough program, but it didn't seem fast-paced enough for his partner. "Y-you usually watch this kind of stuff?" he asked, finally risking a glance up at Riley.

"Not really. Usually i watch forensics and stuff." He looked back down at Kaleb. "Didn't think ya'd go for dead bodies"

Kaleb made a little noise of agreement, he didn't really like dead bodies much at all since his job was to make sure he saw as few of them as possible. "I-it's just a show though, right? I-it wouldn't be real dead bodies," he said, not wanting to keep Riley from what he usually watched.

"No." He watched a fish float across the screen while the narrator explained about it. "But tv effects are pretty good these days so things look like real dead bodies."

"Oh..." Kaleb said fidgeting a bit. Good dead body effects would probably also mean good blood effects too, and although dead bodies freaked him out a bit, the blood would just do him in entirely. "I-I don't want to stop you from watching what you like," he muttered quietly.

"You'd freak out and hurt yerself again." He snickered. "This is interesting," He waved a hand at the tv. "And it wont freak ya out."

Kaleb huffed a bit at that point, he might have gotten freaked out, but he wouldn't hurt his ankle worse than it already was if Riley was fine with keeping an arm around him. He went back to watching the nature show and did find it interesting, but he was really glad Riley wasn't being bored by such a tame form of television.

Eventually the fish show went off and Riley didn't really want to watch what was on next so he went channel surfing again. There had to be something on to watch.

Kaleb didn't react too much when the show ended and Riley started flipping channels again. The relaxed pace of the documentary had given him time to relax and slow down for the evening, and his bedtime was approaching anyway. He hadn't started yawning yet, but that wouldn't be too far off.
