While he was shouting and looking, Epotheros saw Clover enter the clearing. He was relieved to see her alive and well and that the creature didn't get her, but what about the others? She said she didn't know about them. Epotheros quickly rode up beside her and covertly lead her out of the forrest. He wanted to rejoin the party and get away from that thing as soon as possible.
"I don't know what did this," he said trying to keep the truth about a being that in numbers they would be more of a threat than Zant. Epotheros also believed there were more of them since the mask had the number 7 in roman numerals on its mask.
When Epotheros and Clover rejoined the others, he continued on without saying anything about what he saw in the forrest. As night fall aproched, he made sure that they camped out in a wide open field. This gave them the best chance of seeing an attack if it was coming. Epotheros did not feel much like sleeping so he sat infront of the fire and stared out across the plain. He wastched the flames dance in the fire pit and felt somewhat comforted. It was clear by the way he acted that he was nervous and was worried. Kamots even sat by him. This was the first time Kamots had shown any affection since he was bought.

Larien was asleep by the fire worn out by trying to keep up with the others the collar was relentless in draining her of strength. She lay on the ground curled up and covered with a thin cotton shawl. In her sleep she visited Epotheros in his mind. "I know you well enough to know that something is troubleing you. I also know that you don't like to discuss things like that. Least of all with me I am willing to bet. But I see how you act with Clover. We would all do a better job of protecting everybody else if we all knew what we were up against and you know it. But alas I will leave you with your thoughts as long as you take into considertation the fact that you hold more than just your life now."

The morning had come at last. It was a bright clearday with a gentle breeze that swept across the field. It was rather early in the morning when Epotheros got every one up to get going, because the dew hadn't even dried off of the grass. The group made excellent time and were at the village in the Hiati Furgo Providence by mid-day. They were greated warmly by the villages and miners but were scorned by the local soldiers and mercenaries, because they didn't like to be overlooked as being the strongest.
One of the miners then lead the group to the enterance of the mine, It was a hole in the side of an active volcano. The doors were made of iron and had to be cranked open to allow passage. The inside of the mine was very very hot. This could be due to the river of molten rock that flowed down the middle of it. There were steel plat forms that conected the pieces of rock together an allowed the ability to cross with out much difficuty. As soon as the group had made it down the ramps a group of flaming bats attacked them.

It was less of a threat than the group of orcs that met us after the bats had been taken care of. A few slashes there and a few slashes her and the bats flew off. The orcs who were attacking were average and ordinary. They wore light armor and attacked in pairs of two. One of each pair had a sword and the other provided support with a cross bow.
"Don't use your magic unless you need to. Save your strength for when we find the main enemy." Epotheros said unsheathing his sword from the scabbard on his back.
((Ty is with us aswell))

attacking from behind the five pairs of orcs, Ty slices at the bowstring of two orcs simotaneously before jabbing his knife-studded staff (five knives on each end, spraratically placed in a star formation) at the end sword-orc's face.

Larien slumped against the rock wall, her head pounding with pain. The heat and noise made her feel like passing out.

Seeing the orcs attack, Clover grabbed an arrow and readied her bow. She distanced herself from the action to aim properly. Once she was set, she aimed for an orc's skull. The orc in question was near the outer edge of the attacking group. She knew that she couldn't penetrate the armor without a considerable amount of strength from the wind, so a head shot was her best bet. Clover simply called upon the wind for accuracy and enough force to kill the orc. Taking a deep breath Clover released the arrow, sending it straight for it's target.

As an orc headed towards Larien her head snapped up and she glared into the creatures eyes. Her eyes had gone compleately white and she whispered something only herself and the orc could hear. The orc stopped dead in his tracks and slumped lifelessly to the ground with a hollow expression. As soon as the body hit the ground a greenish haze floated from the body on upwards towards the unknown. Larien's eyes regained thier purple hue as she drew a dagger from her thigh and prepared for another attack.

seeing the three finished orcs makes Ty laugh because he knows these are just weakeners before the big battle...he takes the liberty of lopping off the head of one of the archer-orcs missing a string, while he toys with the other. kicking the dead orcs sword near the now nearly weaponless archer-orc, he gives it an almost fair chance. after about 10-12 blocks and parries, Ty tripps the orc and pins him without killing it...yet. he keeps this orc pinned and weaponless, while waiting for the rest of the orcs to fall, yet also defending against any stray attacks aimed towards him.

Since seeing the shadow creature I had been on edge constantly looking over my shoulder “so he is after zant” I thought to myself I was glad to see something that strong was on r side but at the same time I was horrified I new what it would do if it had the chance to judge me and I was not intent to let that happen
As we entered the cave sweat dripped down my face “wow its hot” I said as we walked as the bats flew at us I unsheathed my swords and started slashing them out of the air the next thing I new there was a grope of orcs attacking us two came toward me one with a short sword and the other with a cross bow the secant with the bow took aim and fired I jumped and rolled forward barely dodging the arrow I then throw one of my swords at the orc with the cross bow hitting him in the center of the chest as it hit I swung my other sword to the right blocking the other orcs attack as my katana and his short sword meet sparks fell from r blades we then both pulled back and stared circling each other both of us weighting for the other to attack the orc soon grew impatient and attacked he ran at me and took a powerful swing I easily side stepped it and as he fallowed throw with his attack I lunged my sword into his throat he I quickly pulled my sword out as I did the orc dropped his sword grabbing at his throat he then fell to the ground lifeless I then cleaned off my sword and sheathed it I then walked over to the other orc and pulled my sword from his chest I then cleaned the blade and stared to look around and see how everyone else was doing and see if any of them needed help

Epotheros positioned himself in front of the orc holding he sword so the one that was providing cover couldn't hit him without hitting his comrad. Epothers swung his sword in a circle like a batton with a rather leisurly expression the blade reflecting the scenery off its meyalic surface to give it an orangish glow. The orc became quite infuriated with this lack of respect and charged Epotheros recklessly. He lifted his sword up above his head and at its height Epotheros struck. Epotheos held his sword upside down so the blade ran even with his arm as he caught the orc wide open. Even though the chest plate stoped the attack, Epotheros had him a a position on where he couldn't swing his arm down. Epotheros then placed the edge of his blade that was clost to the guard against the thrat of his opponent. With a quick upwards motion Epotheros had sliced through the skin and the orc was dead.
A few arrows hit the orcs back whe it died, leaving a "Thunk Thunk," in the air. Eotheros then used the body as a sheild and approched the other. When he was about ten feet away, Epotheros threw the lifless body towards his companion knocking him over, his cross bow realeased from his hand and resting in the stream of lava. Before it knew what happened, Epotheros was in the air delivering an arial stab which impailed them both when he landed.
Epotheros the stood up, wiped the blood off of his sword and went through the gate the orcs had entered through. When Epotheros made it to the outside he was surprised thoi see a lake. It was situated in a large crater in the side of the mountain which had pathways that conected all of the mines together. A plat form stood out of the lake and held supplies and such with different catwalks that lead to the other mines. On a ledge just above the far end of the platform stood four archer orcs. They were out of range by a dozen yards and aslo seemed to have not noticed his presence. A piece of cat walk was tied up like a drawbidge benieth the archers. If the rope holding it up was cut, then it would give them a way to enter the mine when the monster was.
"Clover, Larien, I think getting those archers is a job for you."

The orcs had been slain and now they could proceed. Clover looked about as she walked with the others. Once they reached the lake she felt as if they were nearing their destination. The archer's near the drawbridge caught her attention immediately. Luckily they hadn't noticed the group's presence, yet. Clover nodded to Epotheros' suggestion and grabbed an arrow.
She planned to shoot two consecutive arrows, hopefully Larien would take care of the other two. She quickly readied herself, pulled the string and arrow back, released the arrow aimed towards an orcs head, grabbed another arrow and repeated the process. Her movements were quick and precise, she left little room for failure. The distance would make it impossible for any normal arrows to inflict any damage, so Clover concentrated the wind around each, allowing the arrows the soar through the air with a significant amount of force.

seeing his 'prisoner' would not be wanted for questioning, he nodded once before silently ending it's life. Ty followed the group though the gate, and paused at seeing the apparent dead-end.
