Tsurai frowned and decided it was better not to ask.
Looking down at himself, he tried to gauge what he felt like from what he wanted to feel like.
"Umm... Well, I'm aching all over. But I guess that's expected. And. I think I can get up.."
Tsurai put his left hand on the ground and pushed himself up easy enough, but as the polar opposite of yesterday, his upperbody seemed to be fine and his lower half was jello. Falling back down with an "oomph", he added on, "... Or maybe I can't. Heh. Typical."

He sighed. "Get a drink of water. We have to get started soon.." He wandered over to the duffle bag, splaying it open, digging through it to open up another can of tuna, eating hungrily. He would need the protein to carry Tsurai the remainder of the trip today.

Tsurai groaned, looking down at Isiah's Jacket, which was near to him. The kid, obviously out of reach of the duffelbag, and not wanting to crawl over there, grabbed the jacket instead and pulled it over, like a curious Puppy.
Once the jacket was on the eighteen year old's lap, he went through its pockets. Part of him wanted to find the drugs, but he didn't. Instead, he just pulled aout a lighter and a cellphone.
Tsurai quirked a brow. Isiah didn't seem like the type of person who'd need one. Tsurai really had never liked cellphones, or spent a lot of time figuring them out, so the kid figured now was a good time.
He knew how to turn it on, and he could read numbers. Plus, Phones had a nasty habit of having pictures to go with all the text, so everything was fine.
Tsurai wasn't exactly sure what he was looking for, or wanted to look for, but only a few seconds passed before Tsurai was to the voice messages.
With current... Or.. Less current, rather, considering the fallout, cellphones were like mini computers, so there was no need to call yourself or enter in a password. Before Tsurai went any further, he looked over to Isiah, who was eating.
Tsurai put the phone down for a moment and turned, putting the jacket on, leaving his right arm out of the sleeve. Now his back was to Isiah.
Tsurai hunched over and put the phone to his ear, so Isiah couldn't see.
All Message Playback.
"Hey Whitey, it's me. You coming over tonight? Because for as many broken bones Kaegan made, is how many times I'm gonna make you come. I've got the windows open too, just so when a missle falls, I can see you light up from the nuclear fission..."
Tsurai sighed. Typical. But he didn't think Isiah was like that... Still curious, however, Tsurai skipped over the rest of that message - he knew where it was going, and wanted to hear something else.
Next Message. "Isiah. Congratulations, kid! I just wanted to let you know how great it is to know you made Ceta. I'm proud of you. It's great to know that although you're the yongest we've ever had, you're also one of the bleeding hearts. I'll see you later. Maybe we can go out drinking sometime to celebrate."
End of Message. Next Message.
"Isiah... Please come home. I don't know where you went, and I really worry about you. Your father... He was mad at the time. But we've talked it over and we really do want you back.. Please come home... We will make up what we did so wrong to you when you come home.
I love you, Isiah. And... Your father does, too. Despite what he says outloud..."
End of Message. Next Message.
"Hey there big boy! We saw you leave your numbe ron the bar! I know you don't go for girls, but could you maybe change your mind just once?
Oh, we could get really drunk, and I'm so rough you'd mistake me for a MAN!"
The last message in itself wasn't that funny, but the way the woman said it, it was. Tsurai burst out laughing.
That was the end of the saved messages, so Tsurai just put it down and turned it off. The battery was low, anyway. Looking over to Isiah, who was now staring at him, Tsurai quickly hid the phone back in the jacket pocket, but couldn't help snickering still.
However, Tsurai overlooked the lighter, which was still on the ground next to Tsurai, so Isiah, if he had a good idea, would know the boy had gone through the jacket's pockets.

Isiah looked up at the laughter, noticing the lighter on the ground nearly instantly. "What the hell you laughing at?" He finished the can, tossing it behind him, standing wearily. "What's so?..." He shoved his hand into the jacket pocket, yanking out his cellphone. He groaned. "What the hell were you doing with my phone? Trying to call home or something? The towers are all dead, kid."
He reached back and handed Tsurai a water jug and a can of soup with the can opener. "Eat up." He shoved his cellphone into his pants pocket, along with his lighter. "What were you laughing at, anyway?" It was a camera phone.. Isiah hoped he didn't manage to find any of the pictures.

Tsurai was still chuckling a bit when Isiah came over. "Oh it's-- hey..!" Tsurai winced.
"Not so rough, will you?" Oh, that reminded him of the last message. His mind was in the gutter, now. Tsurai couldn't help but cover his mouth in attempt to stop his mad laughter.
He tried to cover it up with fake coughing, but then it actually turned into real coughing, so Tsurai ended up stopping his laughter early. Swallowing a bit, he looked down at the soup and water.
"Thanks.. I..Haha.. Oh my god, I'm sorry..." He started chuckling again, and fell on his back so it wouldn't hurt his gut so much.

Isiah turned the phone back on, shuffling through the pictures one by one, his face deep red with a blush. But there was nothing there that would make Tsurai laugh like that.. "What'd you do with this thing?"
He turned it off, flipping it shut before tossing it into his pocket. "Huh?!"

Tsurai cleared his throat before slowly sitting back up. "It's nothing. Calm down."
He turned to the soup, and picked up. He'd chug it down, too, if Isiah didn't interrupt him.

He grunted, speaking very low. "Tsurai, if you don't tell me, I'll kick your head in." He was growling low in his chest, a menacing rumbling sound.
He turned the phone over in his pocket, trying to think of what could be on there to make Tsurai laugh like that.

Tsurai sighed and put the can down. "You of all people.. I wouldn't think you'd pick on an invalid."
Tsurai hoped that didn't go too far, and quickly tried to stand up again. Tsurai wanted to fight Isiah again. He was in a good mood, and play fighting wasn't so bad, was it? Of course, his body didn't agree, and Tsurai went back to a sitting position with a wince and a "hmph."
After a few seconds, disgruntled by not being able to get up again, Tsurai said, "I listened to your voice messages. That's all. Don't worry about it."

Isiah yanked his phone out of his pocket, flipping it open and turning it on again, pressing it to his ear to listen to the messages, blushing hotly at his former boyfriend's message, a smile curling his lips. "I didn't think you had that kinda sense of humor, kid..."
He listened through the rest out of morbid curiosity, his expression turning darker with each message until it turned into deep disgust at the last message. "Why the hell did I keep that one?...."
He was momentarily busied by the messagaes, groaning inwardly. He gave Tsurai a funny look, trying to figure out which one had so piqued his interest.

Tsurai started drinking some of the soup until Isiah said something about his sense of humor.
It took him a moment to realize what Isiah meant by that, and immediately spat out what was in his mouth when he figured it out.
Lucky for the both of them, it wasn't that much.
"God! NO!" Tsurai shook his head and then coughed a little.
"NonononononononoNOoooo... " Tsurai had a very tired look on his face, his posture slumping when he wheezed. "God, no. I skipped over the first one when he started talking about nuclear fission. It was the way that girl talked. On the last one. She seemed pretty desperate."
He gave another slight cough and put the can down so he could brush the soup remnants off himself.
"I'm not THAT sick! Jesus, Isiah. I thought I was going to puke..."

He rolled his eyes, shaking his head. He decided to exascerbate the so called problem. "You don't know the Cat in Black, kid. He had a .. like a.." He mocked shuddering in school girl ecstacy. "I wish the bomb had fallen then, cuz I woulda been too.." He whistled. "To notice."
He watched Tsurai's expression, grinning.

Tsurai kind of just... stared blankly for a few seconds.
"If it's "d**k" and "Truck"..." Tsurai groaned. He closed his eyes and a small shudder went down his spine. Then a really bad picture formed in his head.
"Gah!" He opened his eyes immediately and shook some more.
"Isiah. I think it's impossible for anyone to have anything larger than your's. Besides. Quit telling me about your... Your..."
Ugh. Get up. Walk away. That's all Tsurai wanted.
He tried to get up again, and although he knew he couldn't, when he didn't he still growled in anger.
"It's not that funny of a joke when the guy you're talking to isn't gay," he grumbled.

Isiah grunted. "What, about my boyfriend? You can talk about your girlfriend and I can't talk about my boyfriend?" He sat down next to Tsurai, rolling his phone over in his hands over and over. "Seems like a stupid double standard to me."
Tsurai's homophobia was really beginning to wear down on him. He just wished it would stop, for ten seconds.

Tsurai looked away. "I didn't mean it like that."
Tsurai sighed and laid on his back, looking up at the sky again.
It looked kind of pretty, in a really... Deranged, gaseous way.
"You can talk about it all you want. But. You're joking about it.. And That's what I mean. You don't see me going around explaining intricate details of how high I got off my girlfriend. Not that.."
Tsurai grimaced.
But then again, Tsurai had told Isiah all about the mom thing. "Well." He was trying to be apologetic without actually saying sorry. He'd already said sorry too many times the other day. "I'm getting there. I mean. I didn't throw up, right?"
Lost his appetite, though.
Tsurai knew he had to eat, so he was sure it'd come back in a few minutes. But for now, the soup was looking worse than spam and tuna combined.
