M'lai walked into the observatory with Raina and began looking around for Raina's stuff.

Night and Quickpaw both sniffed the air.
"Hey...Rose..." He said, looking over at her.
"We have to get the hell out of here, Admiral!" Quickpaw exclaimed.
The ground began rumbling and cracks in the concrete began appearing around the group. A large part of the ground collapsed, and once giant red and green claw emerged from the ground. Rose and Dark looked toward the claw for only a split second before sprinting off to the refuge's hideout, Night and Quickpaw close behind them. A giant hole appeared in the concrete and a giant mantis-like creature made it's way to the surface.
"Admiral Dega to base, requesting imediate dropships, we are under attack!" Rose yelled into her uni-com link. The creature swung one of it's many claws down into the ground in front of Dark. He turned his wrist blades back on and slashed the claw several times, forcing it to retreat.

"What is that!" Kray shouts, in unison with Sibet as well.
Kray aims his rifle at the best and fires away, hopping to drive it back into the ground.

The creature was completely uneffected by Kray's shots and merely kept charging after Night and the group.
One of the marines pushed Kray and Sibet off to the side and stuck the barrel of a rocket launcher out the window. He fired a rocket directly at the creature's head, making it rear back and screech in pain.
Night and the rest of the group ran into the hideout and began running up the stairs. "Everyone to the top floor, the dropships will land there quickly!" Quickpaw shouted as shi ran.

"Thanks." Kray says to the soldier that moved him out of the way. "I don't think I was even affecting that thing."
"What is that!" Sibet simply shouts, still looking out a corner of the window, the small piece that he caught himself by, preventing his complete fall.
"I'm coming. Give an old man some time to rest." The Elder says as he slowly walks up to stairwell.
You can hear panic and screaming coming from the people near any of the windows on that side of the building. They all start to panic, some running down the stairs trying to get out. (I figured I should give you a hand.) Only the few that were on the first floor heard to run up the stairs, but soon the rest of the Citizens ran up the stairs as well, feeling that they might have danger below as well as out side.

Ookami_Jing M'lai walked into the observatory with Raina and began looking around for Raina's stuff. out of the conner of Raina's eye she saw her stuff by the window next to a table "there it is" she said smiling and walked over to in and pick all of her stuff up and then turned towards M'lai "i found my stuff"

Off in the distance (ok not to far in the distance) one could hear the classic 3 round burst fire of a federation riffle. The gun fire was aimed at the creatures joints, anyplace between the armor of its hide. "OVER HERE YOU BIG UGLY!"

M'lai looked over at Raina. "Alright then." She said, smiling. "Then we can head back."
"Those dropships better get here quick." Another marine said as he approached the window. The creature outside slowly emerged from the dust that was kicked up and stood back up, the thing was angry now. "Because nothing less than 20 or so rockets can kill a full grown Guardian..."
Nathien's shots were having no effect on the Guardian's tough skin. It didn't even seem interested in him.
Three dropships had already landed on the roof, and people were cramming into them.

"Time to get to the roof!" Kray says, dragging Sibet along behind him.
"Hey! I want to watch this though!" Sibet wines as he is dragged along.

"Damn ugly, teach you to ignore the little guys!" Nathien looked through his scope and took diligent aim at the creatures eye. "Hope you like bullet in the eye b*****d!" With that Nathien pulled the trigger.

M'lai walked back to her master's cabin with Raina. "So where'd you come from?" She asked.
((Sorry, got that wrong >.< That creature is called a Goliath))
The marines ran up the stairs with Kray and Sibet to the roof. The rest of the dropships had landed and almost everyone had boarded them.
The creature flinched for a moment when Nathien shot it, but kept moving at an alarming speed. After all, it had five or so eyes left to spare.

Nathien knew he had to move fast. He took one more shot at the creatures eye and picked up his gear and ran for where his comrades were.
