"If it weren't for the clean up crews I would be having lunch right now Ryzil... This is my house afterall." Rufus said with a sly chuckle as he headed past the other and back up to the chopper.
"And you would be joing me." He added afterwards, putting out his smoke and sighing as he looked at the damage to his home was minimal and yet it was strange... He would rathe rbe at his office then at his home, he felt more comfortabel there that was certain.

Jade's muscles were actually starting to become sore from the amount of tensing his body was going through, but for good measure, it tensed once more at Reno's mention of becoming immobilized. And clearly Rufus didn't take the man's safety to heart, from what the younger of the two could hear from it. He couldn't help but feel scorn towards his uncle for scolding Reno. Sure, he had yelled at the red-headed Turk and many others for more minor reasons himself, but Reno was specifically his to yell at, even if he did work for Rufus.
He made a note to tell his uncle off for that later.
But for now, a wave of excitement actually managed to squeeze its way through Jade. Finally they'd get to tear into the fun stuff. "Well let's go then!" he said, starting off quickly, before glancing back at the other. "I'm not going to have to carry you, am I? Because I am not cool with lugging your big a** around."

Reno chuckled, so much excitment even after the small little fit the boy had given him, Jade was always one thing, Unpredicatble.
"I think I can make it, I would never make you pack me around anyway, that would put you in danger...." Reno said and his expression said the very thought of that was very horrid indeed.
"So, onward dear Shinra,we can't be late for your play date with your uncle." Reno's boody was getting harder to move by the moument.
He wished he had some sort of antidote....But he relly didn't, well lifes a b***h.

His little 'play date' was actually the last thing on the list that kept Jade moving excitedly on. Anticipation, fear, concern for Reno. Those ranked much higher than wanting to see Rufus. It wasn't that he greatly disliked his uncle or anything. It was just that they didn't always get along as well as they should. Most likely due to a personality clash. Both wanting to be in control, neither wanting to yeild to one another. One could tell they were related.
As they continued on, Jade continued looking over his shoulder to check on his companion. Once the stiffness in his movements was becoming much more obvious, he eventually fell back to walk by his side.. Just in case.
They finally reached a set of elevators which they promptly entered. "Hey, Red.. I think we need your access card."

Renos legs were going the fastest, figures, the blood flow was faster as he moved faster.
The Turk pulled out his card and gave it to Jade with a pussled look.
"Don't you have one that's like...All powerfull." Reno chuckled, he could see Rufus doing that, blondie didn't trust anyone, not even his own family, for good reason.
He leaned against the wall, sweat starting to slide down his face and over his neck, his breathing was getting hard to do, vision starting to blur and spin.
"Speed Jade." Not like he could swipe the card in his condition.

"Strange...." He admitted, no one else was in the mansion, the clean up crews were fast but...
...I wounder who that could be.... He thought to himself, stopping his walk forward to watch the lighted numbers indicating the elevator coming down.

"I would have one, but Rufus degraded me to one that can only go to certain floors," Jade said in a huffy manner. Just because he tried to break into restricted areas, occasionally barge into confidential meetings, or try to make an escape from the building was no reason to take away his all-access card.. Or at least Jade thought so.
But Reno's statement quickly broke him from his personal grudge and had him fumbling slightly with the card before he got them going. In his opinion, the elevators couldn't possibly go any slower, Jade thought while shifting nervously, glancing at Reno every couple of seconds. They really should have some sort of 'I'm in a hurry' button installed.
After what seemed like forever, the doors finally opened to reveal the blonde, elder Shinra. "Rufus!" he exclaimed, before jabbing a finger at Reno. "You help him this instant!"

Rufus didn't let Jades words, demands, comands, bother him, simply looking at the half collapsed Reno with and arch of his eyebrow.
"You getting old?" He asked and Reno chuckled nervously.
"Yeah, something like that..." The Turk managed to pant out and Rufus shook his head with a chuckle.
"Maybe you should retire, if I can't trust you to baby sit my nephew..." rufus let the end of the sentance slide, Watching Reno move out of the way for him to step into the elevator.
"Come along Jade, Reno will be assisted by the clean up crew, and I can't have you running about without Turk to keep you safe can I?"

Jade glared daggers at his uncle. He could hardly remember a day when they were in one another's presence where there wasn't something stewing between them. Even at their infamous Shinra family reunions, he'd tend to want to launch flaming marshmallows at him.
"I could handle myself, thank you," Jade said, training his volume to a relatively quiet and calmer tone. "But either way, I want to make sure Reno is alright. As you should be able to see, I am fine. It was him who got hit. Afterall, it wouldn't surprise me if whoever it was that attacked us was trying to kill you. Reno just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time."
