"200kg, go off!" he said, Tsai followed him this time. He didn't have the weights and could easily keep up. "Kaosu push yourself harder, I need to know your at most limit before I can refit a training program for you and reform your style of fighting," he said while beginning to tail him.

Harder... Kaosu thought. Harder, harder, harder! He leaned forward farther, picking up the pace a little, lifting his feet a little more. It was killing his feet, but he just kept running, trying to go faster and faster. Harder means faster! Kaosu just kept his pace, not wasting any energy wondering if Tsai was still following or if it was just an initial starter. Then, he felt it. It was felt before it actually happened. He lifted his right leg, and when it landed sluggishly back onto the ground, Kaosu felt his foot twisting. No! No broken bones! Kaosu, in an attempt for self-preservation, spun along with the direction his foot was twisting.

"Ergh!" Kaosu grunted as he landed onto the earth. He was again desperately gasping for air. He then leaned over and felt his throat muscles tensing. He made a quick dry-heave before he lied back down for more labored breathing. "That...sucked." Kaosu gasped. He just lay there for a long time, regaining his breath.

Tsai was still tailing him and saw him fall down. He jotted down 200kg and walked over to him. "So what's up? Is this all?" he asked as bent over and looked over a sweating Kaosu. "I guess we could have a rest for now, first, lets get back," he said as he turned off the weights and picked Kaosu up. He slowly brought him back to the cave.

"Alright what are your thoughts right now?" he asked Kaosu as he leaned him against the cave wall.

((Sorry, my comp got hiijacked.))

Kaosu took a deep sip of water. "What do I think?" He chuckled. "I think you're about the damned hardest trainer I've ever had. I can finally barely feel my arms, and my legs are reaching the same limit. I must admit though, the methods you have are...'unique'. But they work. I hope, no I KNOW they will pay off. You would make a fine leader someday." Kaosu tried moving his arms, and moved them only a few inches. "It's fun, to say the least."

(No Problem)

"Well, first I'll thank you for the compliment but that was just the first step, the next steps will be much harder....Kaosu"

Tsai coughed slightly, took off his reading glasses and put them into his pocket and then he slowly got up. He grabbed his zampakuto and sheathed it. He held it with one hand. The curved blade of his zampakuto glimmered. "Kaosu, I know you may be at your limit, but hit me with ALL you got. Meaning any techniques, moves and combos you can do with your zampakuto," he then sheathed his zampakuto.

"But first get some rest before we continue unless you want to?" he sat down as he waited for a reply.

Kaosu slammed onto the cave floor. "After a rest, sure. I may be strong, but I'm no super man." Kaosu took another sip of the glorious water. "And, you know what Tsai? All I've honestly done so far for fighting is aim for something and attack. I...really don't have a 'style' per-say. It's just hit or be hit. Kinda like the kill or be killed way of life. That's why I came to ya. Mai has her little mini-whirlwind, you study your opponent's attacks; I know. I just swing blindly like a fool." Kaosu sighed.

"Probably not a very good strategy considering how I've been losing so far. It looks pathetic, in truth. I need to get stronger, and from what I've seen you just may be the right man to help me." Kaosu patted the ground next to him. "Come, sit. Tell me how you came by those balls of yours. I was so concentrated by holding them I wasn't listening."

"Everyone has there own style, even if it is blindly attacking an enemy, later, even if you do not have a fighting style, I'll look at the holes in your previous style of fighting and we can develop something you are comfortable with," he said as he sat down.

"Although Mai does have her whirlwind like attack, you should think of the losses she has to deal with while using it. Sure, she is almost impossible to hit while she is spinning but give her time and she'll fall down unconscious from all that spinning," he laughed as he sat down.

"As for the balls, I call them Spirit Weights, they are made of nothing but pure steel and a small concentration of reiatsu which I managed to trap into the ball. It wasn't an easy process though, took me all night to make one of those balls. Well, basically, the balls work like this: inside is a spinning gear and a small amount of reiatsu. When I click this clicker, the gear spins faster causing the reiatsu to stir like water. This causes the reiatsu to become like syrup almost, it becomes kind of viscous. This combined with the reiatsu being trapped in such a small ball, will cause the reiatsu to emulate a higher level of spiritual pressure than it has in a small radius," he explained.

"Get it?" he asked.

Kaosu blinked. "Sure. Let's say I understood that." Kaosu leaned his head back and closed his eyes. "And, though running blindly and attacking is considered a strategy, it's not a very good one. Too many defence holes, and you become tired quickly. Just take experience as the witness." He took a deep breath. "You know, some people actually come to the Soul Society with no memory of their death? It's almost...funny. But, the longer they stay here, the more they remember until it's burned into their memory like a horrible tattoo. I'm having the complete opposite effect here. I remembered my death so well I could remember exactly the pain I felt. But now, even after a few days, I can barely remember it. All I remember now are the headlights and the truck. Is that normal?" Kaosu flexed his muscles often, every few seconds. "Well, good news. My arms can move again."

"Different people have different memories given back to them when they die. For example, I remember only how I lived in the mortal world, my death, all I remember is explosions.." he said as he coughed and got up. "Let's head outside" Tsai suggested as he grabbed his zampakuto which was still in sheath.

"I want to see more of your old fighting style, before we can develop one that will suit your own needs. Now is the time we build the foundations for your own style of fighting," he said as he got out and waited for Kaosu.

Kaosu slowly pushed up and out of his rocky perch. He grabbed his zanpaku-to again and followed Tsai. He waited until Tsai stopped and turned around. "Better be ready." Kaosu said as he quickly stretched. Then, he started sprinting. It wasn't as slow as when he had weights on, but still slow. He lowered his zanpaku-to to his right side and kept running. Then, as he approached, he sprung into a crouched position, and pushed his right foot out. He then sprang forward, slightly to the right, and swung his weapon upward, aiming for Tsai's hip and up to his shoulder. It still is sore...it still hurts. Kaosu said as he swung. Almost as if someone had kept stabbing me in the arms and legs. Thin pinpricks of pain traced his whole entire body as he grimaced, while swinging.

Tsai watched Kaosu carefully, he did not draw his zampakuto. Tsai rotated his body so that his side faced Kaosu as he dodged the attack coming from Kaosu. He then thrusted his zampakuto while it was in the sheath slightly into Kaosu's rib cage. He stepped back using one foot.

"Here's the thing Kaosu, your attack...your power...it's perfectly good. What's wrong you ask? Your mind isn't ready for an attack, that is what is wrong," he lectured. "You swing, but what if the opponent dodges and counters? What will you do then? From what I see already, you probably rely on instinct; reflexes," Tsai commented.

"What I want you to do now is to hit me with consecutive attacks and use your mind and body as a single complete weapon," he continued as he waited for Kaosu to attack again.

(No need for rolls forky-kun.. we are not using the battle system cause Tsai is teaching and his stats can't possibly phase you stare )

Kaosu saw the sense in that and stood a moment, already huffing because of all the previous activities. "Hmm..." Kaosu muttered. "Mind and body...a complete, single weapon. I can do that." Kaosu looked up at Tsai. As he began his forward motion, he started planning his strikes. A little complicated, but it should work. Kaosu pulled both his hands away from his body as he ran, hoping to keep Tsai unknowing to his intentions.

As Kaosu was about to run into Tsai himself, Kaosu whipped his hands together and at the side, ready for a stabbing attack. He pushed quickly and forcefully, using less energy than he normally did; and also no longer leaving himself up for attack. After that, regardless if it hit, he hopped to the right and swung horizontally at Tsai's chest, following it with a run. Then, he stopped at the other side of Tsai and went for a reverse swipe across Tsai's back and behind Kaosu's.

Tsai noticed the change in Kaosu's attacking, a great improvement since the last attack. But it was not enough, Tsai could still follow easily. Kaosu needed more. This was not the battle of strength but the battle of wits.

Tsai easily without a doubt dodged Kaosu's first stabbing attack. It was quick yet deadly but Tsai read right through it. A second attack was followed, again that was expected. But when Kaosu suddenly did the reverse swipe across Tsai's back, Tsai was surprised and impressed, but it still wasn't enough. Kaosu needed to plan more than that.

He rotated using his left foot as a pivoting point and soon was behind Kaosu. "A great improvement from your last attempt at me, however, you lack one more thing, you mind is slowly adjusting but don't push it or you'll mess up. My main concern is that your attacks are so easily read, that there isn't a point to even bother to counterattack you, you basically tired yourself out while all I do is dodge. Also, you have to try to think about how the opponent will react to your attacks.

Will they be surprised? Will they expect it? What will they expect? Combat is more than just the physical ability to strike and defend. But it is also a psychological fight," Tsai ended his sentence.

"I want you to now focus on what I am thinking and attack assuming you know my thoughts and every move. The more you try to figure out your opponent's tactics, the better you will be," he ended his sentence.

"So basically, I want you to try to read my mind, read my movements, do whatever it takes to figure out what I will do when this happens. But don't overuse your mind, sometimes, you may get lost in thought and even though you thought up your opponent's reactions, it may be too late," he stopped as he waited for Kaosu to react.
