Nialla'a eyes widened at the word "torture" - this was definately not her area of expertise. They did have to start somewhere though and questioning demons was probably their best bet at the moment.

"Alright," she said, "Let's orb down there and see what we can find."

Nialla followed the others as they carefully crept through the underworld. She led Ethan by the hand. He seemed to be alert now but he still didn't speak. She looked at him and he gave her a grim smile. As the group rounded a corner they could see the glow of a fire up ahead. A demon sat in front of it, chanting.

((actually the only new thing I am wearing is the dress which I have been saving for biggrin I found a pink link earlier which gave me enough gold at last! I play a lot of those games in general discussion when I want to build up gold. The wings were a gift that I just haven't worn for awhile and the veil was in a flying chest))

Nialla dashed forward and created a pair of tree roots which burst out of the ground. One circled the demon and the other formed a deadly looking point that stopped just in fron of the demon's eyes.

"Hello," Nialla said, unsure of how these situations should be run, "we have a couple of questions that we would really appreciate some answers to"

"Why should I tell you anything," the demon snarled and spat at Nialla.

"That's disgusting!" Nialla exclaimed and the root encircling the demon tightened at her irritation with the demon's lack of manners. "Now, we're looking for Pandemonium. Could you tell us if you have seen him?"

"ahh," said a whispy voice. A shifting spirit made of smoke was hovering over the fire. It had failed to reach a physical form when the group interrupted the lower level demon's chanting. "That's the girl that Pandemonium wished to have for his queen. What an interesting situation we find ourselves in. I thought she wasn't to be trusted."

Nialla glared at the smoke. She had to get answers or Ethan would never be saved. What should she do now?

She glanced up at the stone ceiling and knelt down without loosening her hold on the roots she placed one hand on the rock floor. The room shook slightly and dust fell from the ceiling, threatening to put out the fire. The smoke hissed angerly and fell silent. The root-trapped demon let out a distressed cry.

Nialla glanced back at Dancer and then focused her attention back to the demon.

"Well," she said, leaning closer to the demon and giving him dangerous look.

The demon eyed her and than laughed, "I believe the great Pandemonium is talking with the seer."

Nialla stood back up. "Thank you," she said simply and turned to the others "If we can trust him, it looks like we need to find out where the seer is and then we'll find Ethan's body."

"Right," Nialla said. She released the demon and started back out of the cave.

"This way, follow me!" She took off running through one of the tunnels. "I've sensed the Seer."

As she was running she felt a sharp pain to the stomach. She looked down to see a bloody stab wound in herself. A demon revealed himself holding the bloody knife.

"This was just a warning. There are others surrounding you at this very moment." He laughed. "Dont bother trying to sense us. The Seer's powers conceal us."

He reached down and grabbed the fading Amanda and shimmered out.

Amanda had passed out by now. The demon shimmered into the Seer's hideout. "I have brought you the girl. Where is my bounty?"

"You fool!" The seer exclaimed. "This is not the one that Pandemonium had loved. We must kill her to destroy the peice of Eathan's soul that still presides in this body. You have failed me for the last time."

She threw out her arm which caused the demon to burst into flames. At that same moment, all of his brotherhood that had been protected by the seer's spell where revealed.

"Now, as for you young Amanda..." She placed her hand on Amanda's forehead. Amanda woke for a brief enough moment to feal her limbs grow cold. The room grew darker and darker until she could no longer see. She also realized that she had no control over the rest of her body.

"Now rise!" The Seer comanded. "Go forth and bring me the one called Nialla."

In a mindless daze, Amanda flamed out and in front of the group. She withdrew her daggars and rushed towards Nialla.

Dancer watched in amazement as Amanda had disappeared and then reappeared in seconds with weapons aimed at Nialla. jUst as Amanda had reappeared, both her and Nialla vanished.

"What the heck?" Dancer said, finally finding her voice.
