Vince smiled and continued to pet Uka's tail with that hand, and propped his chin in one hand, eyes fixed on a point in the wall. He let them drift closed, his breath evening out as he briefly meditated, appearing as stone for those several minutes.

"I know how you feel River.. It would be nice to know who my parents were.. if they were slaves or if they didn't want me" she said tilting her head sipping more of her coco. She looked semi sad for a moment then looked and Vincent and gigged
"I promice river.. he coudl fall asleep standing up " she said innosenty her eyes laughing still as he seemed to be asleep to her.THen she laughed
"It is a little strange, can be painfull, but it's also amazing and pretty in it's own way i think. I'm envious of those that can have kittens.. That ability was removed fromme when i was very young" she said

"You're lucky you can have them at all " she said smiling.
"I was born with the ability to have them, but i'm worth more with out the ability to have them so it was removed" she said with a shrug. Then giggled a bit
"i think he was awake.. i think he just drifted off..

"I am not sleeping." Vincent rumbled, cracking one eye open, amusement in it's depths. "I am meditating. It is a good way to regain focus." he gave up on it for the moment and wrapped one arm around Uka's shoulders. "Silly sweet...I can't fall asleep like that."

River jumped and blinked slowly."...Really?..."River watched him for a moment and started to clean off cups again, setting them to dry.

"I'm sorry to hear it would be painfull, but i'm sure it wouldn't be evil like that" she said smiling. Then she blinked andlooked at vincent.
"I'm not so sure.. you fell asleep lastnight " she said innosently to him. Her eyes glittering a bit as she giggled

"That was not my fault, sweet." Vincent told her, laughing loudly. "You fed me entirely too much food, and it put me to sleep. I told you we should have filled my other appetite first, but you put your foot down." he teased, then looked over to River. "Sorry if I startled you, miss."

"It's okay."She said looking at the clock."Oh! Inari told me to wait upstairs for her! I gotta run!"She looked at both."Ukaia the coco is in the pot if you desire more, good..um night to you both?.."she bowed and slipped off the apron hanig it on the door and running up the stairs.

"Night." Vince called absently to River, smiling wolfishly at Ukaia. "And no, sweet, that is not in my itinerary." He reached out, then gently pulled her into his lap. "Not letting you go for awhile." he murmured softly, then began to stroke her ears.

"Night river" she said waving. Then blinked and laughed as she was pulled into Vincen'ts lap. She purred at the petting and nuzzled his hand contenetedly
"mm i suppose i can live with that" she said happly nuzzling up aginst him with a relaxed sigh. It felt good to be in his arms agian

Vincent smiled, then leaned down to kiss her soundly, still petting her ears and her tail. "I'm glad for that sweet." he rumbled, then pulled her a little closer. "I missed you, even in my dreams." The man whispered softly.
