"Hmmm... well." Konner titled his head towards the sky, taking the question into deeper thought.
"He had brown hair... Ummm, didn't seem very thrilled at being in Tolly's place." He shrugged and scratched the back of his neck, "I don't know, I think I saw him boarding that one smuggler ship from before. All I know is he paid quite a bit to have this letter delivered. Oh wait! He did ask me to point this out." Konner pointed at a large "X" in the middle of the envelope.
"Ring any bells? I thought it was kind of funny... you know, an "X" on a envelope. Kinda looks like... I don't know... what's a good word." He paused and held his chin, concentration masking his face, "Ominous?" Hesitantly he nodded to himself in agreement.
Once again he smiled and waited, suddenly becoming interested at a few stray dandelions on the ground.

'X......I was right....'
"I know who it's from then......" she said. Kayako gritted her teeth, cutting open the envelope carefully with her knife. She could've just opened it, but she felt that the frustration was better take out on a peice of paper than the man standing before her. She stopped halfway through, catching on to something Konner had said.
'Tolly's ship? That b*****d....knows Tolly?'
In one sweep, she cut the rest open. Pocketing her knife, Kayako pulled out the letter, and walked a little ways away before unfolding it in her hands.

Rain looked up at Kayako curiously. She could tell something was really bothering her, but she didn't quite know what. She sighed. Feeling that the thrid chain was long enough, she tied it off. As she looked around, she didn't see anymore daisies. She lowered her shoulders in a relaxing way and just looked at the countless blades of grass around her.

“ I don’t have to waste my time introducing myself, because you already know who this is.
There are a lot of things I know that you don’t know Kayako. Such as the fact that I always know where you are, but that’s not all. I know where you came from, and I know how to remove the inverse drive within you.
I have little time here, so I’ll make this nice and simple. I need you to do some things for me. I’m sure you’re wondering why I can’t do it myself. Well, I can’t tell you. You’re just going to have to trust me.
The first thing I need you to do is meet me at Tolly Marcius’s place. From there, I can provide you with so many more instructions.
There is no doubt in my mind that you must be thinking: “Help Xellien, after what he has done?” Let me tell you exactly why you should help me. As I’ve stated before, I know how to remove your inverse drive, and where you came from. I’m fully willing to remove the inverse drive within you, and provide instructions on how to remove it, with the help of doctors, from Gray. I will also provide the money to initiate that operation.
This is what I provide. I suspect you within the next few hours, or days. The man that I have paid will assist you to where you must go. Please don’t hurt him, he’s oblivious to the fact that he’s about to become an accomplice.”
The letter ended simple

'Why that sad-sack son of a...' she thought.
Folding her arms, Kayako turned to Rain with an I-told-you-so look on her face. As for the man, she was ignoring him for now. After all, he was the least of her worries. Xellien was obviously up to something, evil or not, and Gray was still fuming inside Mercury from the stick-beating Kayako had given him earlier.
"Well, it's either a trap, or this guy is a complete weirdo." she stated simply. "Rain...we're going to need WEAPONS!"
She sat down with her backpack, taking out a large selection of knives and sharp objects she'd collected over her journey. Determined, she armed herself with as many of them as she could, hiding knives in her clothes and straping her gun to her belt. Then, she walked over to Rain and held the rest out to her.
"Take these, and hide'em! Better safe than sorry, right?"

Rain took them, staring at Kayako then to the knives wide-eyed. Hide them? she questioned in her mind. But where? She looked herself over, trying to find good places on her person to hide the knives.
Cocking her head a little, she put some of them into the bandana around her waist, only the hilts poking out. As for the rest, she divided them up and hid them in her boots. I really don't like where this is going, she thought as she sat with her legs stretched out in front of her.
((NO! Killing is not the way of the hippy!! >_< razz ))

"Hey, not that you guys aren't buckets of fun, but I got things I need to do myself. I was told to ask whether or not you'll come. If so, then I'll lead the way. If not, then I'm out of here." He sighed, but kept his smile.

(((Oh calm down, Seveny-sven, that's not what it's for...she's had that thing forever! Remember Del Ceilos? I mentioned there that she kept it under her seat. >.>)))

Kayako took a quick glance at the cave. Near the back, the now-familiar shape of Mercury sat still as a statue near the other two mechs belonging to herself and Rain. Regardless of the situation, it never felt right not including Gray in their activities. After all, he was part of their little 'team' now. What did he do in there all day anyways...?
*ZzZzzZzZ...*
A small noise could be heard near it's cockpit, sounding suspiciously like a male snoring...Kayako lowered her head, and twitched angrily.
"Grrr....GRAY!!!" She picked up a fairly large rock and chucked it at the silver LFO, leaving a dent in the hood."Wake up, you ninny! If you don't crawl your lazy butt out of there, we're leaving without you!!"

((AAAAHH! xd Yacko, Wacko, and Dot!! rofl xd Oh, how I miss the Animaniacs! crying ))
Rain watched Kayako's crazy antics from the mouth of the cave. "They have an interesting relationship..." she said to herself, unsure of it all. She sighed and walked up to Kayako. "Maybe you should try something else instead of brutality," Rain suggested to the angered girl. "You never know, it might work."
Rain decided to give it a try herself. She climbed up the LFO to the cockpit. She knocked on the hatch and looked through it. "Hey, Gray? We're leaving now. Hurry up or you'll get left behind." She hopped off of Mercury and walked back to Kayako, shrugging.
((And I don't mean like... that kind of relationship. Like... everyone has a relationship to anyone else! Acquaintancy is a relationship!! O_O Just clarifying what I meant. razz ))

((Ach; What a lamentable state! I'll have to shift that, svener-sama...))
Gray half opened one eye at the sound of the rock bashing off Mercury's hull; evidently he'd dozed off in the sun-warmed cockpit. The rock was obviously the work of kayako; in her trademark style of bashing things...
Sheesh, a bit more, and she wouldn't need the Inverse driver....
Gray was also drowily irritated; Mercury was important to him, as Senturi was to her. So, bashing a rock off his surface was insulting...
Grumbling, Gray whiped a sleeve across his eyes to clear them, twisting around to look out the half-open cockpit hatch.
"mmmph. Kayako..."
Judging by the sound of things, Kayako was irked about something; she was shouting about weapons...
"Hey, Gray? We're leaving now. Hurry up or you'll get left behind."
Gray blinked, abruptly aware of Rain, up close and rather in his face.
Staring somewhat blankly, Gray's brain finaly figured it out, about a minute after Rain departed.
"Oh, right...uh, sky...um...."
yeah, sky would be good, right now.... I want sunlight, and what with these murky clouds everywhere...
Mercury's cockpit closed with a pneumatic hiss, Followed by a electrical humm as Gray booted up it's systems and engaged it's internal generator.
".....Let's go, then..."
Gray mumbled, Bringing the Metal titan to it's feet and disentangling it from Senturi's chains.
Hmpf. Kayako's either gonna kill me or.... well, whatever....
Sitting up properly in the pilot seat, Gray buckled the harness and finsihed Mercury's startup, opening a link to the other two LFO's.
"...'Ey. We gonna go, or what...?"

((ARGH! Screw waiting for people! I have money! twisted ))
Rain looked behind her to see Mercury coming out of the cave. She ran out of the way as not to get squashed like an ant under someone's shoes. Now that Gray had finally gotten his rear in gear after being in some little trance, Rain began to walk towards Eden.
She climbed into the cockpit and started it up. She moved it forward out of the cave, trying not to run over anyone along the way. Once she was outside, she changed Eden into its robot mode. She changed the mode outside instead of inside the cave because she wasn't sure how high the cave ceiling was. Didn't want to hit Eden's head on the rocks and all that.

"Oi, finally! You stay on your toes Gray, you weasel-bottomed ninny!"
Stretching, Kayako walked to Senturi and followed suit in jumping in and quickly moving him to the outside. Once there, she jumped out of the cockpit and addressed the extremely bored and impatient henchman of Xellien's.
"Alright you, everyone gots the bugs out of their butts! Now, where exactly are we going, mister 'escort'?"

"The names Konner... I've said that haven't I?" He turned around and hopped back on his motorcycle.
"I figure you guys can keep up. Don't worry, this things geared to go pretty fast. So we should be there before dark... maybe." With a twist the engine rumbled to life. It roared with mighty thunder as he turned the bike around and sped down the red.
"Mister escort, what the flip?" He muttered as wind rippled past him.
