I'm fine...it seems the explosions didn't affect you at all... stare ...that's good...how's Shiko? and I hope Motoko's safe as well...
*still checking up on his teammates, Shunketsu awaited to see if his Fuuma Shurikens did anything...*

::two more shadows emerged to blocked the fuma's. "dying" in the process and letting the weapons drop to the floor, the main shadow seemed unconcerned::
::the arrows started again, this time one after another instead of in a volly, and this time, as they hit, the spread black flames across the ground::

Tomasu...do something about these black flames!!
*Shunketsu turned around and grabbed an arrow before it hit the ground...he then tossed it into the air, and did a powerful roundhouse kick to the blunt end, sending it back where it came from...he then grabbed another arrow from the air, and this time, kicked it at the shadow...hoping that the arrows will hit the enemies and burst into black flames, causing area damage...*
*Shunketsu then took out a few shurikens and threw them, a few at the archers...a few at the shadow...*

::The sand continued to move around Shiko, she was walking slowly looking to where the arrows came from. Her blood was about to boil, her heart beating quickly. She had the urge to kill and she could not control it.::

::Motoko could sense that something was wrong with Shiko, but she couldn't do anything about it now. All she could do right now was keep the girl safe from the barage of arrows. Trying to doge arrows and keep the girl safe, Motoko ran as fast as she could away from the seen.::

::Shiko started to run towards the archers, the arrows deflecting off the sand barrier, she then grab out her kunai's and when she reached them she started to slash at them::

"Hello!!! Explosions=Fire! Im a mist nin!!" He turned and performed the hand seals for his Water Dragon blast. He fired the huge dragon straight at one of the archers and circled in along the flames, covering them with water.

*still catching a few arrows here and there and sending them back...which was starting to tire Shunketsu*
don't....get....so....cocky....a....hot...enough....fire will...evaporate water... and this...fire is black...so there's...no telling...what it...is capable...of...
*Thinks:* Shiko's acting very reckless...fighting with rage only clouds judgement...I hope she's going to be ok...rushing headfirst into battle and whatnot...and I hope Motoko's taking care of that girl...
*in the midst of his thinking...his concentration waned a bit, and an arrow escaped his grasp and exploded...knocking Shunketsu to the ground...*
oww... stressed *Shunketsu jumped back up...*
that's it...Katon: Honoo Shuriken No Jutsu!!(Fire Element: Flame Shuriken)
*Shunketsu blew forth a flamethrower, and from those flames, hundreds of tiny fireballs came forth towards the archers...who he now deemed the greater threat*

::indeed they traveled towards the source of the arrows, but no physical archers were noticeable. The shadows began to follow Motoko, keeping their physical form this time::
::the flames seemed to have no intention of stopping, and the arrows just melded back into the shadows::
::the kitty on top of shunketsu's head meowed and turned, leaping to follow the shadows. It stopped for a moment, took a deep breath and opened its mouth, emitting a shock wave of sound the ran through one of the shadows, destroying it. After its destruction, fewer arrows appeared to strike the group::

::The sand around Shiko disappeared and one of the arrows hit her, feeling the arrow hit her leg caused her to come back to reality. Shiko fell to the ground, gasping for breath, her heart was still beating loudly. That has never happened to her before, something is not right::

*Shunketsu was overly surprised to see the kitty take down a shadow in one hit, something he had been unable to do for a while now...*
kitty???? wha...what did you do? to think you could take care of yourself this entire time...
*thinks:* yup...I have to hand it to Buki-sensei...nothing's ever as it seems...hmm...fewer arrows are coming after the cat destroyed the shadow...maybe they're the source of the arrow! better take a chance*
*with that, Shunketsu took out a shuriken, and threw it at a shadow...observing what would happen...*
*Shunketsu then noticed Shiko was hit...*

Katon: Honoo Bunshin No Jutsu! *flame clone emerged and rushed to Shiko...it took out a flame shuriken and deflected an arrow about to hit Shiko*

::Shiko tried to stand up, but was feeling weaker than ever. She grabbed a branch close to her and pulled herself up, grabbing a cloth from her pouch she put it on her leg and tied it, then stand up fully straight and put her hands in a fist and started to walk towards Shunketsu::

Tomasu watched Shiko get hit in the leg.
"Oh s**t! SHIKO!" Tomasu jumped over to her and picked her up, getting a scratch along his arm, but ignoring it, and carrying her over to where Motoko was. "Shiko! are you alright?!?!"
