I never felt that they hated each other in the dub. I really like their interaction, actually. There's a level of genuine liking underneath even their respect for each other, and they're no less teammates than any of the others. I haven't watched the sub for a while; maybe I'll go do that.

Indeed. I haven't watched the sub, not because I don't like it, but because I've been basing most of my stuff off the dub, and also I've been watching the dub with some friends who don't like subtitles. I think a rewatch of the sub is long overdue for me.

And Kurama and Hiei have the sexiest sub voices EVAR.

Well, the dub is what I am most accustomed to, so I tend to go by it quite often. I only really stand viciously by the subbed version when it comes to Kurama and Youko's merge with Shuichi. I'll admit it's rather stupid but I dunno, it's just me. I tend to multitask when I watch TV, so since I can't understand Japanese completely with out subs, I watch the English version.
I suppose hate was a bit of a strong word for me to use but... In all honesty, going off the dub I only really saw begrudging respect between Hiei and Kuwabara. I mean sure there's one scene in the dub where Kuwabara is very impressed by something Hiei's done and exclaims, "Wow, shorty's a lot cooler than I thought!" and then runs up to him first before the others follow. If there is a friendship there, from what I can see it's something very unspoken and something neither of them really want to admit. However these are only my points of view. If I'm wrong... well, then I suppose I am wrong sweatdrop Either way, I wasn't meaning to offend anyone when I said I couldn't make sense of the pairing, it's just something that's not my cup of tea. I do apologize if I stepped on anyone's toes or really upset someone.

Yeah, juggling more than one would probably be difficult, which is why I'm being careful not to do it. >.>

I do kinda like his Japanese voice. It's incredibly expressive, and in a different way than a lot of characters. Plus it makes me giggle. (And I can go that high. I'm a soprano.)

You know another pairing that hasn't made sense to me... and I am not sure if I have mentioned it before or not(or if someone else has) but, Kurama/Yukina. I just can't make heads or tails of this pairing... I see no attraction between them and I REALLY can't see Kurama betraying Kuwabara like that, especially because he knows Kuwabara is in love with her. I find I haven't been able to enjoy a fanfic yet involving that pairing.

I tend to agree, also. This is part of why I dislike pairing Yukina with Yuusuke also; I'll buy her finding love outside the team, but no one on the team would do that to Kuwabara, nor has anyone else on the team shown interest in her anyway.

I harbor a secret fondness for Yukina/Touya. Even though it's not really realistic. Just because. xd

Heh, if Kurama and Yukina have never spoken to one another then Touya and Yukina have DEFINITELY never spoken to one another. However, I will admit that I can't really hate the idea of that pairing because it seems like it would be so cute sweatdrop I don't know, maybe in an alternate universe somewhere it could happen... although I would fel so sorry for Kuwabara ><. I'm with Yuudai too, I hope he has good deffence against fire, because Hiei would likely not be pleased rofl .

I've never seen a Sensui/Sniper pairing before. It certainly doesn't make a lot of sense to me confused Mainly because to me the ONLY person for Sensui is Itsuki *whistful romantic sigh*.
I think the only reason fans might want to pair Sensui with Sniper is because I think there's a moment in the anime where Sensui reassures Sniper or something, and Sniper really looks up to him... Or something like that. To be honest I don't really remember because I haven't seen th Chapter Black Saga in a while. Either way I am still not a fan of it, I don't see any form of chemistry between them.
