*Milia's ears droops slightly as she hears the judgement, being rather quick to the point she wanders over to where fedha and the leader was. Standing infront of the leader she looked up in his eyes. Being rather small she qivvers slightly but her wording was faultered.*
"leader... thats not really fair.. he was thirsty and went to get something to drink... how was he to know that the lion was their?". Looking down at milia the leader snorts again."milia, you have no right to comment! this is my order and my order is LAW its my duty to protect this herd, and i will protect it with my LIFE." With this milia's ears flatten backwards slightly at the reaction. Milia's mother then wanders over and nudges milia away."please forgive her leader, she doesnt know what she's saying." "but I DO KNOW! it wasnt his fault!!" "ENOUGH!" *the males hooves dug deep into the earth and he growled slightly."milia, you and Fedha are now to be separated for a longer period of time. If i catch you two together, the concequences will be dear." With that milia's mother pushed milia away from fedha and the leader. Milia gives fedha an expression of goodbye and pads away*

fedha whimpers as his ears pin up. he sighs as he knows what will happen if he opens his mouth. he looks to his mom who was looking at him with kindness. "soon, the punishment will be over. just, dont do anything stupid....son, i know you and milia are close, but...." she paused "if you wish to play once again, stay away from her..."

*walking away with her ears tucked she finds herself being herded by her mom to the opposite side of the herd.* "its alright milia.. just dont do anything and stay away from fedha and everything will be alright" "but.. but mooooommmm!!" "no buts love.. we dont want to upset our leader... he is the one that knows best." huffing slightly milia finally agreed."now.. its time for bed, its late." "MOM!! its not even dusk yet!" "youve had enough excitement for one day." sighing milia laid down next to her mother whom was keeping her warm. Her mom slowly went to sleep, but milia staid awake. remembering what happened today.*

fedha sighed. his eyes scanning around, but always fell to milia. he lowered his head and flatened his ears. the quicker he slept, maybe, the faster the punishment would be.

Urari opened his eyes and looked around. He must have been sleeping for quite some time. He rose from the spot behind the bushes where he slept and stretched slowly. Launching forward he stretched his back first, then proceeded backwards to stretch his legs. "Let's she what I can stir up today" he said mischeviously to himself. He climbed up the tree with suprising ease and took a seat on the 4th branch up. He decided he would sit there and wait for someone to come along. Then, he would inch down the tree just as smoothly as he had climbed it, very slowly till he got close enough to whatever it was...then he would POUNCE on it! "Haha..good pouncing lesson right here".

*lifting up her head she looked around over the sleeping herd. Noticeing that one was still awake, the leader. His mighty posture and stoat legs watching over the herd, standing as if he was prepared not to sleep that night. Slowly milia's eyes droop and fade. She stared up at the starry sky and the moon with its radiance as it shines over the savana. Lowering her head steadily to the earth she nuzzles close to her mother, not before getting one last glace towards fedha. Sighing she shakes her head and falls into a deep sleep for the night in the warm of her mother and the mystery of the stars lights.*

A small bird cawed next to Urari. Not so much of a caw, as a loud "KREE!" The little bird, which couldn't have been bigger than six inches tall, had a golden yellow chest and piercing crimson eyes. She hopped down the branch sideways, then back up again. A mass of colors, she had an emerald feathered back and bright yellow just under her sharp, curved onyx beak. The sharp blue above her eye and black underneath revealed her to be a little bee-eater. And a very mischevious one, at that.
"Kree, What are you doing?" Msuko asked, flapping her wings as she spoke. Not enough to lift off the branch, but it seemed the bird could not sit still.

fedha licks his maw, then his ears fall back. his eyes were drooping already and his mother had been awake as well. he sniffed at the ground, then fell into a small nap.

Urari looked towards the little bird, and licked his lips. "The question is..what are you doing and why are you bothering me?" he asked raising his eyebrows. He thought the little bird would make a nice, light breakfast..but then, he did have bigger things on his mind. He inched a little bit closer to the bird to intimidate it.

A massive zebra stallion trots gently down a grass-covered incline, snorting and pawing the earth as he spots others; his kin. His black stripes show glossy-black against an ivory coat, and his eyes are a brilliant, vibrant blue. He looks quite young, as it were; a stallion newly testing his strength and vigor. His neck arches dominantly and defiantly, and his whip-like tail swishes around at his side.
Tumbling behind him comes a spindly little colt, happily prancing - and running right into the legs of the older stud. Ow. That hurt his nose. His head pops out from behind the stallion. "That hurt, Pakaa," He complains, tiny tail swishing indignantly.

"Kree!" Squealed Msuko, hopping down the branch in a crab-like manner, away from Urari, eyeing the cub all the while. "I asked first, you hairball. Kree." There was no love lost between the little bird and furred creatures. Especially ones who are trying to eat her. But they were amusing, sometimes, and Msuko found herself drawn to them. This one in particular seemed to be waiting for something, and Msuko hated waiting.

"Hmph..hairball?" Urari responded at the little birds comment. "Well, this little hairball would swallow you in one bite if I wasn't waiting for something worth to prey on" he laughed. "You know..I never really liked the taste of feathers" he said just an inch away from the bird, "today's your lucky day..I'll let you live." He walked back over to his waiting spot where he was originally and hoped the bird would just fly away.

fedha sniffs at the air. his eyes shut tightly. he raises his head, and looks at the leader. he had fallen asleep, thinking all were asleep. fedha grins as he wobbly stands and shakes off, then he looks to his side. his grey eyes watching 2 new zebras around. fedha snorted softly as he charged around into the small forest around the herd. his ears twitching, and he made sure that he did'nt make a noise. he watched the zebra pound the ground, then he licked his nose. watching intently.

Hearing comotion in the distance, a small, easily unnoticed creature skittered across the ground. He was a mere addition to the landscape, a streak of yellow and black sifting through the tall dry grasses. Pausing and flickering out a forked tongue, Dhiki travelled onwards.
Dhiki was a slim male african skink, his glossy scaled body was soft yellows, much similar to the grasses, with two streaks of black on his sides. White fell between the yellow and black, though it could've been called a soft light tan. Two little black eyes peered about, and clawed fingers scratched the earth they passed.
Apon sihgting the zebra herd, the troublesome little creature decided to create some form of chaos or other. Trouble came natural to Dhiki, as meddling in it was his nature.

"Let me live?" Msuko said, indignancy clear in her sharp little voice. The little bird hopped onto Urari's head, kree-ing loudly. "You are lucky I don't peck your eyes out, stupid furball!" To prove her point, Msuko gave a light peck to the cub's head, little claws digging into the fur on his head as she got comfortable. She would show this lion cub who was boss.
