Kisaragi saw everyone was relaxing and sensing in the air that everything had calmed down. He decided to go back to the two that had strated all this...
"...Ah, its seems the creature had past..."
Kisaragi looked down to find sadness as the humans friend faded away. He wanted to help but he didnt think that it was possible to...
"...You know if we can get him back...?" saying to Maki...

As they rose from the ground, Shinja's pyreflies slowly circled the room before escaping through the window.
Shinja was gone.

Back in the control room, Tenshin wiped his eyes and turned to Zetsuei, an angry look on his face. "Are you blind?! Shinja's dead! If you would've found a healer sooner, he'd still be here!" Tenshin's young, Shadow Rogue face had a look of pure rage on it.

"Dont be trying to blame this on me about Shinja dying. He kept his condition a secret from everyone, he didnt tell me untill I saw the wound for myself and confrtonted him about it. Finding a healer to cure a condition of his magnitude isnt as easy as you may think."
He could understand Tenshin's anger and rage, but those emotions were not going to help the matter.
"Tenshin, control your emotions. This lose is devastating to us all but he may truly not be gone."

Soon the image of Shinja faded from Maki's sight as her arms moved through him and she fell to the ground crying. She looked up and reached her right hand up hoping he'd grab it one last time, but knew it was a foolish thought. "I love you," she whispered. "Find peace in the farplanes ... I'll come to see you as soon as I can." The glow circled around her as it lifted from her body and a woman with similar features as Maki except with long braided hair wearing a long white dress tried to comfort her.

Tenshin stepped up to Zetsuei, standing only inches away from him. "You were his friend! You should've watched over him closer! I haven't even seen him since I got here, and even I knew he was dying! If you had just watched over him closer...Shinja...my father...he'd be alive!" Tenshin clenched his fists as he stared at Zetsuei with hateful eyes.

Meanwhile, in a large cave hidden among the mountains of an undetermined continent...
A swarm of pyreflies circled Sett as he laughed maniacally. "You're mine now, brother..." An evil smirk was on his face as he muttered a few words, causing the pyreflies to gather and shoot into a large crystal. Once the final pyrefly reached the crystal, something appeared within it...
...the unconscious body of Shinja.
"Yes, you're mine now...and there's nothing you can do about it."
Sett slowly walked towards the crystal and snapped his fingers, causing it to shake as electricity crackled around it, causing Shinja to awaken and scream in pain before it stopped. "I'll finish what I started 50,000 years ago, brother...and you'll do nothing but watch." Suddenly, the crystal sent a wave of electricity into Shinja, who could do nothing but release a muted scream.

"Tenshin. you can be mad at me all you want but this isnt my fault. This is how he wanted it, if he wished for Maki or I to know he would have told us but as for watching him closely. He kept to himself building the airship we are in now. Everyone has thier secrets, and he had his."
Looking down he could tell Tenshin was on the edge of losing his temper.
" Im sorry Shinja, your father died Tenshin but it happened. My father died to bring me back into this world and have a chance at life. If your going to hit me then do so and get it over with"

The woman in blue faded and returned to Maki's body as it layed on the ground in mourning and filled the room.
"We will see him someday," she whispered. "Let's walk in the light once more for we are needed now."==================================== Maki woke up from her unconscious state and looked around. Tears poured down her cheek as she struggled to stand up, Shinja was gone and all she had of his to remember him by were their moments together, the adventures they shared and the flask she tried to get him to drink from before passing out.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Maki screamed as she stood up and grabbed her heart as if it was in pain and kicked her bedroom door shut. Which still looked crooked from being torn off its hinges they day they left shadow island. She was hurting and wanted to be alone now, so she struggled to the bed and fell into the soft covers to mourn for Shinja. "You were supposed to come back with me ..."

Maki stared at the ceiling in her room after mourning for what seemed like hours. Her eyes sore from crying, she rubbed them dry and sat up. Kyana's seal has kept her wound stable but she still felt weak.
Struggling to get up she slowly walked to the door and opened it and wandered down the hall towards the elevator to find Zetsuei, she felt he should know. Her heart felt heavy and empty now.

As Maki walked down the hall she found herself leaning against the walls to hold herself up. Her glaze fixed, eyes dry from crying and her face pale with no emotions.
As she wandered down the hall she crept slowly, once at the elevator she got in and pushed the button. She wasn't sure what she pushed ... heck ... she wasn't even paying attention. It's as if she was having tunnel vision. She doesn't see anything else going on around her.

As the lift ascended Kyana looked around something felt very different all of a sudden moments ago she had felt a new prescence for the first time since they had left the castle. As the doors opened up on the control deck she saw a tall young man.
"Is this our great threat?"
She proclaimed as the man seemed harmless for now. Looking round kyana also saw zetsuei and kisaragi but none of the others.

Tenshin suddenly walked away from Zetsuei and towards a nearby wall before turning his head to face Kyana. "I am no longer a threat to any of you. Because of my father's sacrifice, I get to live freely." He turned his head to Zetsuei, though still talking to Kyana. "He died to give me a chance at life." He then bowed his head and muttered a quiet prayer to Shinja.
At the same time, the sound of the alarm went off in the ship as Maki hit the button.
In her room, the Kusanagi blade slid across the floor from underneath the bed, along with Shinja's sunglasses.

Walking over to the pilots chair, Zetsuei sat down and placed his hands on the orbs.
"Him and I are alot alike, he just doesnt relize that yet. Both of our fathers died to give us a chance at life and we both didnt know them very well"
The orbs began to glow as screens materlized infront of Zetsuei's face showing the inside of the ship. Upon looking at the screens he saw Maki in the elevator heading up.

Fira walked over and sat down on a chair within the control room. Sitting down she sighed and leaned back glancing at Tenshin and Zetsuei then at the screen. Finally she closed her eyes and slumpped down in the chair, tired still from the lack of sleep. Even through she was tired she tried to at least stay awake, as she sat there quietly as her chin rested on her open palm where her arm was supported by the armrest of the chair. "Today, is going to be another long day," She muttered yawning and pulling her hat down to cover her eyes.

As the elevator door opened Maki stumbled out and grabbed the wall as she slowly made her way towards Zetsuei.
"Zetsuei ... Shinja .... he's gone," she said barely holding the tears back. "I couldn't ... save him. He was supposed to ... come back with me but the darkness kept him. .... I'm sorry I couldn't do more."
Barely able to stand on her own her knees gave way and she fell on her rear on the floor and wept.
