Only one doll this time. An even break. No worries! At least she wasn't losing any tokens yet. That was a concern for another time. Grabbing the dolls back up again, she tossed them once more toward the van.

And it would appear that the appropriate time for worry was now. All of the dolls missed the target this time, and the only thing that saved her from a total embarrassing loss was the flashing BONUS light. With renewed determination, she gathered up the dolls again and tossed them back toward the van.

Much better this time! Three of the four dolls landed in the van this time, and the BONUS light started flashing, to boot! Hikaru eagerly gathered up her tokens, grinning from ear to ear before trying it again.

Frowning as the dolls missed the van again, Hikaru gritted her teeth. She would not allow herself to be beaten by this game! Grabbing the dolls and eyeing up her target, she tossed them back toward it once again.

Smiling as two of the dolls landed in the van, Hikaru pumped her fists excitedly in the air as ten more tokens came sliding across the countertop. Pushing half of them back again, she gathered up the dolls for another shot at the van.

Two in again! Hikaru was really starting to get on a roll by this point. Deciding to run with her luck, she gathered up the dolls again and paid for another game. Heaving them toward the van, she prayed for another victory.

This was getting to be a pretty good pattern. Hikaru was steadily increasing her token count by about five each play by this point. Quite satisfied with the results, she paid for another game, tossing the figurines at the van and really starting to enjoy herself.

Only one win this time. Ah well, no big deal. Breaking even once or twice was better than losing tokens, after all. Without breaking stride, Hikaru gathered up all of the dolls, paid for another game, and started tossing them anew, trying for better precision this time around.

Much better! Hikaru managed to get two of the dolls in the van again this time, and also got the even number bonus. Smiling and collecting her tokens, she pressed ever forward, hoping for even more tokens the next time.

And two in again! And the biggest odd number bonus available! Hikaru, grinning from ear to ear, greedily gathered up her tokens and paid for another game. Today was shaping up to be a pretty good day for this game, and she intended to ride her lucky streak all the way to the end.

Plunk. An even break. Hikaru simply shrugged. There was no way she was going to let a substandard result like that kill her good mood, especially after she was doing so well before. Grabbing the figurines, she tossed them back toward the van, silently urging them to land inside.

It looked like her usual luck had returned, as two of the figures landed squarely in the van. The BONUS light chimed in happily this time as well, giving Hikaru another 13 tokens to play with. She smiled, pushing five of them back across for another game.

Not bad for a day's work. Hikaru collected the last few tokens from her last win, depositing them in her pocket along with the many others she'd won over her past few days at the festival. She was almost halfway to her goal now! Grinning widely, she walked away to enjoy the rest of the festival.
