Van Evok
so poor death tinkerbells stuck with oldest codex in the game...

If used right of course.

ANd if not we can always just hope to god they can steal the enemy away.

ANY list can do that if used right.

Just Dark Eldar... I don't see potential in them anymore, they're expensive for that they can do, if anything at all! D:

As a secretive DE player I find it hard to take on any lists since the Tyranid codex came out-

BUT with the new codex our problems will be solved~ WE WILL GIVE THE GALAXY A REASON TO FEAR US AGAIN!

I have rethought my views on DE, seeing Thraka being dragged away by a Raiders Slave Snare was frankly amazing.

lol :'D

lucky shot, same lucky shot I got with Zogwort turning Eldrad into a squig~ :'D

I hope that they will keep most wargear to the Dark Eldar... I don't know what I'll do without my Animus Vitae... D: <3

As far as it goes, I'd be glad to see a new assload of crazy wargear to turn the HQ into different sorts of crazy a**. Just so long as they don't change combat drugs, I'm fine.

The drugs might be the same as for the wych unit if we're unlycky... One perma-affect instead of choosing. D;

Bah...that would suck balls. HQs should be able to keep their drug rules with the "use too many and you OD" function to them. With the Wyches, it makes sense that they'd only be issued a single dose of the drug before battles whereas the HQ would have more specialized drugs that they could use to focus the effect.

Old news, old news. DE have been pushed back to late 2010 as early as March of this year. Woofs are the last big 40k release of this year.

More'n a year off... Too early for there to be release rumors out?

GW operates on a three month window. So you'll get a glimpse of three months and beyond that nothing. Games Day Germany will feature the next big GW unveil, 10 to 1 it's Space Hulk. DE are in the works by none other than Jes but he said himself that he was only half-way there and that it would be another eight months at the very least before it could go into production.

Fair enough.

Anyone played using or against DE lately? Anything stand out in their codex that's really unbalanced in 5th edition?

From what I've heard and seen DE are quite a fierce and competitive army under 5th edition. You might be better off asking it to a rule lawyer or win at all cost guy like Oryn or the likes.
