I used a Dread Axe with Deamonic Stature for a little while. No armour saves allowed, not even Inv. saves. It was sick. xd

Taking that instead of a S7 Character with 2d6 to armour.

What Chaos power can give you strength 7? Base is S4, add Stature, and strength you go to S6 +2D6, I don't think you can have S7, unless I missed something.

Give it a great weapon....

Thing is, the bases models are supplied with are their new legal minimums. Which mean all your old termies on 20mm bases need to upgrade to the new 40mm ones.

Where did you hear that, and why do we need to upsize the bases?
Quite simply, models are supplied with the minimal base size for their type of model. As the new terminators are supplied with 40mm bases, 40mm is the minimal base size for ALL terminators now. There's a similar base upgrade for a Tyranid model, but I forget which... It's been asked time and time again to GW, but they state clearly that models come supplied with the minimum size base, but you can make it bigger if you want.
So, Termies are now 40mm-ers

As it stands, GW can go feth itself, I am not spending money on bases, glue, and possibly more models, just because they are greedy and trying to make money anywhere they can.

Like I said, they are trying to get me to massacre my models, so they an get more money. I am not going to do it unless they give me A refund on the new bases. How is that?
PostPosted: Thu May 05, 2005 1:43 pm

How about no? The bases don't cost THAT much. It's not like you have 50 terminators in an army, is it? 5-10 is the average. no one fields the maximum (40!), so why worry? If it was basic marines, yeah, i'd agree with you it's taking the piss, because armies generally have 15 models in power armor minimum. (yeah, 10 is the minimum, but on average 15 is used)
So.. deal with it. o__O How do you think players of FANTASY felt when the size of square bases changed for most units a couple of years back? whole armies re-based or destroyed.

Did not know about Fantasy, or even care. As to my Chaos army, yeah, soon it will be 40 models of termies. Anyway, here, they are 2 dollars A paice. That is almost an entire Space Marine BATTLEFORCE DAMMIT!!!! If I really wanted to waste my money I would just buy Tau, for god's sake. $80 on bases is not acceptable as far as I am concerned. It is the main reason that they are pissing me off. And yes, I DO play marines, and it annoys me for them too. And yeah, they do cost 2 dollars for one here.

Yep, there are many varying base sizes in Fantasy. Hero Bases, Calvary Bases, Monster Bases, 20mm bases, 25mm bases....

I knew that, I have bought A few of them, but I did not know they had changed the base sizes. Anyways, I will stop my comlaining now, as it will get me nowhere when I have to enter A tourney.
