Sanji grunted and rolled back. He examined his knees for a second and stood up.
"Yes yes, well lets try this...."
He glanced at the knives sticking in the ground and pulled out another. Lets hope this works. There is usally a lot of thought put into combat...i just hope she is the same. He pulled on a thread, causing the bells on the knives sticking in the ground to jingle. He pulled again and threw his knife at Kris. He didnt charge this time, he just stood to see if his knife met its target.

((Whew, i didn't miss the party. When is it? eek ))
Rayla froze and screamed when the knife flew passed her. She shook nervously and fell over.
"I'm...n-not...dead...."
The gears in Rayla's mind finally clicked and she ran off after the two. She stumbled up the stairs and tripped onto the floor of the upper deck. She slid several feet and stayed laying on the ground for a moment. She groaned and sat up, watching Sanji and Kris fight.

((I dun know. The bloody git hasn't come on yet.))
Kris turned to wave at Raya at the worst time, Sanji's knife tore through her shoulder, taking a huge chunk out of it. Her hand immediatly went up to the wound, and it came back soaked in blood.
"Um...can we postpone this fight for a little bit?"

Sanji chuckled and walked over to pick up his knives.
"Post pone? I think a cancelation would do nicely. We'll call it a draw..."
He stuffed the knives into his jacket and walked over to Rayla. He hoisted her up and set her on her feet.
"Don't spend so much time on the ground, thats what you have feet for. You alright Kris?"
He walked over and examined her shoulder, which seemed to be bleeding pretty well. He frowned and folded his arms.
"Lets get you bandadged i guess.."

Rayla gasped as she was lifted to her feet. She was light, but she hadn't really expected to be picked up like that. She slowly walked over to Kris and looked up at her, worried.
"Are you...alright? It looks...pretty bad.."
She looked at Sanji and frowned. She sighed and adjusted her hat.
"You guys...shouldn't have fought..."

Sanji looked at Rayla and chuckled.
"Oh whatever. Its not that deep of a wound, she'll be fine. Anyways, have you tried saying no to this woman?"
Sanji chuckled and narrowed his eyes at Rayla. He glanced over at Kris to make sure she was ok and folded is arms.
"You're very protective of that hat...a present from someone or somethin'?"
He turned to Kris without waiting for his answer and he chuckled.
"So, do we have any bandaging anywhere?"

Applying pressure to the wound, she smiled faintly. "Nah, I'll be fine...I can do that myself." Giving a slight half wave, she ran off towards her room.
Rushing hurridly to the bathroom, she held her arm out over the sink, letting her blood wash away. But there was something wrong with her blood...it was black. Not the mottled color of dried blood, but pure, jet black. It was dark enough to pass off as ink. She sighed, resting her forehead on the marble countertop.

Rayla gasped and set a nervous hand on her hat. Oh man, why don't you ever give up? She had started to grow tired of his constant pressing in on her. She crossed her arms and stared at him.
"Why...do you care so much..? Is it really....that important? Its just....a clothing item.... get over it.."
She sighed and let her arms hang loosely at her sides.
"I'm sorry...I don't know... what came over me.."
She returned Kris' wave and watched her run to the room. I hope shes alright...

Sanji folded his arms and scowled at Rayla. He narrowed his eyes and looked down at her.
"Get over it? Oh man, you've really got things backwards. I think you need to get over whatever you hide. What are we going to do anyway? Throw you off the boat? Highly unlikely. It can't be anything that bad that members fighting against VILLAIN wouldn't understand...sheesh.."
He interupted her apology by holding his hand up to her mouth. He folded his arms again and started walking towards the stairs. He waved a hand in the air, mumbling something to himself.

Rayla turned away from Sanji's gaze and looked off to the side. She opened her mouth to retaliate, but nothing came to mind, and he had already left. She kicked at the ground and sighed. She leaned over the railing and stared into the water. Maybe he's right...people probably lived through things worse then me. They've already seen worse. She sighed and let her hand drag in the water.
"I can't do it...i just can't..."
She shook her hand free of water and stepped downstairs. She went to Kris' room and knocked lightly.
"Kris..? Are you...ok?"

Kris woke up suddenly from her short nap. The black blood still ran down her arm, filling the sink. She called out, "Um...Rayla...please come in...I could use...a little help...
((Sorry about posting so late. sweatdrop I had to take a shower, and then eat. Sorry...))

Rayla opened the door slowly and looked around. She could hear her from the bathroom and she strolled over.
"Are you.. decent...?"
She stepped in and immedeatly noticed the black rolling down her arm. She screamed and covered her mouth. Her eyes were wide and staring. She stepped clsoer to Kris and looked at her arm.
"What happened!?"

"My blood...is black..." Kris stuck her arm in the sink filled with blood, and pulled the drain. When she pulled her arm back out, it was dripping black.
"I don't know...what's going on..."

Rayla covered her mouth in horror as she stare at the black. Her hand shook nervously as she slowly stuck her hand in it. When she pulled it out, it dripped off like a normal liquid.
"W-what... should we do? Do you think Sanji's knife did this!? Should w-we get help..?"
She slowly reached out and touched Kris' arm. It felt normal, but this was anything beyond normal.

"Well, it's either that...or something is going on with my body since I'm a halfbreed." Sighing, she started to wrap her shoulder, the fine cloth already turning into an inky black color.
"I honestly don't know."
