DarkKat77 The flutes. All the flute in my marching band are pansy the all have to sit down if they don't get a break every 10 mins. Then my arch rival a flute player and I can't stand her!!! Hey I'm a flute person. We stand the whole time but tend to goof of alot. We have an army of trumpets and they r so annoying

I'd have to say my least favorite is the oboe. It's got a beautiful sound, but when played by the inexperienced, especially beginners, it becomes one of the hardest instruments to tune correctly. It tends to stick out above the rest of the band.
Our band's oboe player is great now, but I couldn't stand that first year! XD

Sleyah I'd have to say my least favorite is the oboe. It's got a beautiful sound It just sounds so sad, I can't really listen to it. My least favorite? Piccolos. It's just too high, and all the people playing them tend to have them just slighty out of tune, causing one's inner ear to explode in pain...

I hate the sound of a clarinet the most, but everone dislikes our percussion because they absolutley suck. none of them stay on the same drum/whatever for more than 2 weeks.

Well I like all of the sounds of instruments but it's just that people don't like those who play certain instruments. In 8th grade symphonic band I think it's a tie between the drummers and the trumpets

EVERYONE hates the clarinets cuz they are squeaky and annoying. But we sometimes hate the trumpets cuz they are sooo loud, they block out everyone else in the band! I mean, they are good and all but they're all that's heard! No offense or anything cuz my best friend plays trumpet but still. If they could just tone it down a little we'd be cool. Also they ALWAYS get the melody! Oh I'm rambling aren't I? Sorry... sweatdrop

In my band it's the trumpet. They give our band a bad name, that's why I'm not playing trumpet anymore.

Masquanade I don't have one. sweatdrop Usually when I "hate an instrument" it's because of the person that plays them, not the instrument itself. Same here. wink
