It looks like Dallas might land Pac-man Jones. Dallas has offered a 7th round pick and have added a player. Jones has two years left on his original five year, $30 contract, the Cowboys wants to redo the deal, most likely to one year. This would be a steal for the Cowboys.

Yes, it would be a steal for the Dallas Cowboys. Pacman isn't re-instated yet, but should be by late April. Pacman was a former first rounder in the 2005 draft, played very well on the field, and it's unfortunate for the Titans that because a player is bad off the field then they need to suffer.

The NFL owners' meeting is tomorrow.

...Many topics will be voted on, and it should get interesting. Topics include banning long hair from covering the names and numbers on player jerseys, re-seeding the playoffs, video review for field goals, and video review for force outs on catches out-of-bounds.

NFL News:

The New York Giants' Super Bowl XLII ring design was released.

Kraft, Belichick, and the Patriots are trying to commit closure to the Spygate scandal with apologies and no future references.

In the NFL meetings on Tuesday, owners approved the idea for a defensive helmet radio. The radio is to be worn by one player on the defense on the field, at a time. This will work much like the QB's helmet radio, except defensively.

Roger Goodell stated that a decision on Pacman Jones will be made before camp.

I don't much about Jack Del Rio but I think five years is a bit to much. I think around three years would make more sense.

But Del Rio is a great coach, even on all sides of the ball. He deserves it for doing so much with an almost unknown team, and keeping it close in the competitive AFC South.

No it's not to much. He is a good coach, he made it to the 2nd round.

He is a great defensive minded coach too. I actually predict that he will coach the Jacksonville Jaguars to win the Super Bowl next season. Yes, it's a bold prediction, but I believe that this team is in great shape for the future.

Executive Director of the NFL Players Association, Gene Upshaw, is in a campaign to be replaced, led by Baltimore Ravens veteran kicker, Matt Stover.

Urlacher and Harris of the Chicago Bears may hold out the optional workouts until contract negotiations are met with.

Minnesota Vikings sign QB Gus Frerotte.

Roy Williams wants to stay a Detroit Lion.

Sage Rosenfels is looking to part with the Houston Texans.

OT Orlando Pace, of the St. Louis Rams, may be able to return from injury just in time for the summer training camp.

Despite a recent comment by Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank which stated that Vick was staying in shape by playing prison-yard football, the federal prison has denied the proposed events.

The Kansas City Chiefs are interested in signing kicker Mike Vanderjagt.

It looks like that Matt Ryan is not the #1 pick, Miami is going to begin to negociating with Chris Long.
