Kibo: A little birdie told me. Join me for a drink?
He chuckles, and turns away again, continuing to walk.

Jaxxon almost slipped before she caught herself and stood upright. "I'll kill this birdie who told you." Yet she followed him anyway. Damn her curiousty. Her mother always told her it was going to get Jaxxon killed one day...yet it always got her out of trouble too.

When Kibo walked past him Matthew spoke out loud to him. "I dont appreciate people messing with my ship."

She turned around, looking at matthew and blinking. "You are the captain of the ship he stepped off?"

Kibo spins around rapidly one one foot, and points at Matthew, a slight smirk on his face.
Kibo: I didn't take anything, did I? You should be counting your blessings.
His smirk disappears, and his lips curl back into his usual smile as he turns around, and continues to walk towards the tavern.

Jaxxon huffed. "Men! Pirate or not they're confusing." She shook her head. Why did her mother end up with such confusion to begin with? Blah. It was beyond her. Still she continued to follow Kibo...She wanted that drink!

Kibo pulls open the door, and ducks to avoid a bottle, slapping it to the side to make it avoid Jaxxon.
Kibo: Lovely, isn't it? Well, let's take a seat.
Kibo begins to weave through the fighting drunks, finsing an empty table.
Kibo: Have a seat.

As she slipped into the seat to the table, she ducked quickly to avoid another bottle being thrown. "Feels like home," she murmured, not the least bit perterbed of her surroundings. "So who's this bird that told you of my name and what I sought?" Clearly she wasn't going to drop the subject.

Kibo: Well, you don't easily give up your point. As for the bird...
Kibo whistles, and a small, lucent bird flies in, perching on Kibo's arm.
Kibo: This bird. Well, I got your name from him. Everyone who seeks the Black Pearl has the same look in their eyes as you.
The bird closes it's eyes, and opens them a few seconds later. It's form becomes fuzzy, and it's almost clear form expands into a monster of a man, with a large headdress and other trinkets made of feathers, claws, and teeth.
Kibo: Allow me to introduce my bird. I'm not quite sure of his name. He doesn't speak much...

She noted the image in the bird's eyes. Should she kill the bird? Then again how did it find out about her name? "Who is that in the bird's eyes?" She never forgot a face but this one was new. Indeed she sought the Black Pearl. She was fascinated with it's legend.
She reached out with caution to touch the brid but stopped, not sure if the bird would appreciate a stranger touching him. So she withdrew her hand and sat there, watching the feathery being. "And what look?"

The spirit's face softens, and he holds out his large hand awkwardly.
Kibo: Heh heh. He doesn't know the reason for shaking hands, and he hasn't done it that many times. He sees something in you. As for the look, the look of feigned confidence, overlaying nervousness. Don't deny it. You're nervous. I can see it in your eyes. You were probably thinking abou what you were going to do if you weren't accepted into the crew, who you'd go to.

She gave a whistful smile. "I was actually seeing if I could touch him, though I'm not sure how he takes to strangers." She looked up to him. "I am nervous and I plan on being accepted by them no matter the cost."

Kibo: Well, it appears he has something to do. Oh well. *shrug*
Kibo: Have you ever heard of the Godspeed or the Lightning? Magnificent ships, they are.

She shook her head, watching the spirit fly off. "No...I've never heard of thos eships. Care to tell me about them?" She blinked, turning her attention back to Kibo. A servant came over with drinks.

Kibo: Aye. The Godspeed is an amazing ship. It has the latest technology, and can take down even the mightiest of ships before they can even get it in their range. Not to mention that it has no risk of being attacked by the Krakken, as the beast's very son is First Mate. It has lavish quarters, an amazing'ly skilled crew, and a very good captain... well, Commodore. He also possesses the Lightning. The Lightning is another great ship. It has a massive amount of firepower, and can overwhelm even The Flying Dutchman. It can fire, reload, and fire again before the opposing ship will even know what hit them. They are both fast. Very fast. Capable of speeds surpassed by only by... two ships, the last time I checked...
