I'm really looking hard for a private bassoon teacher in my area, but I can't find one. Any suggestions of where to look?

Nope, I use Emerald medium, they're easier to play than Jones medium and sound less harsh, but that's just me...

Wind of Fenrir - Ask your music teacher at school or music shop where you get your supplies if they know of any. They're generally good places to start.
P!atD!45 - Learn your scales! They're boring, yeah, I know, but my teacher really started enforcing them a lot this year, and they were insanely helpful. And...I love my fingering chart more than I should.

I found one. I e-mailed the bassoon professor at a university nearby, and he suggested her to me. She's really nice. 3nodding

Double reeds! Hellz yes!
I'm a bassoonist. I've been playing since 6th grade (4 years) and I picked up an Alto Sax last year to march. It's mucho bueno.
Click the banner in my sig to get the code, if you want it. XD I worked hard on it, so you should!!!!!!!
