"Luxord might be looking for me...he tends to worry when I'm gone for a while. Though I did tell him I was swimming and he knows how distracted I can get in the water..."
Demyx scratched at an ear, seemingly thinking things over.
"If...you leave....we'll see you again, right?..."

Sora smiled. "I have something for both of you!" He dug around in his pockets and brought out the sea-shell keychain and pumpkin keychain that Demyx and Larxene had picked out before, giving them to each of them respectively. "I don't know how, but my keyblade can detect keychains like these, so no matter where you two are, I'll know and when I'm close to you, the keychains should glow."
Tail wagging, he smiled brighter. "Besides, I'd like to think that if you had those then I'd be with you guys no matter where you are! If you ever need me, just try and call to me, I'll come as fast as I can."

Larxene took the keychain and stared at it, frowning slightly. So he was going to leave. It probably made sense, considering he had a point; it was possible Axel'd be happy to see him again, and maybe a few of the others could forgive and forget. But Saix (and probably a few others) would take his head off given the opportunity.
Her shoulders slumped a little but she tried to look pleased as she put the little chain in her pocket. Her first friend ... well the first she could remember ... was leaving. "Thank you, Sora."

"Really? Thanks Sora!"
The idea that this little keychain would somehow keep him in touch with Sora made the sitarist feel a bit better. Yes, he was still pretty sad that Sora would have to go, but the others had a point... and if he could see Sora again sometime then it wasn't so bad.
His own tail swishing a bit, Demyx carefully tucked the keychain away in a pocket. He was sure to cherish it for quite some time to come.

Sora looked to Larxene and noticed her somber expression, he half-stumbled over himself and gave her a big hug. "We'll see eachother again, don't worry." He smiled at her. "You should have learned something with me Larxene! When it comes to me and friends, I'll always be there!" Looking over to Demyx, he gave him a smile as well. "Try not to get into too many arguements with the rest of your group, if I remember right, you guys bickered more than Riku and me!" He laughed loudly, trying his best to lighten the mood.

Larxene purred gently at the hug, holding back a moment before wrapping her tail around the other and hugging him back. "I suppose that's true. And if we can't find you, we can always look in some books or ... something. Look for weird singing water creatures?" she chuckled, sitting back again. "Hey, arguing is at least forty percent of the fun we have."

Demyx stayed silent as the two hugged, the young sitarist nervously fidgeting with his paws. Once they spoke up again he perked back up, once more at ease.
"I don't really like the arguements...so, yeah, I'll try to avoid them. Just don't stay away too long, kay Sora? I'll erm..miss ya..."
Despite the words, Demyx seemed as happy as he could be. Tail swishing, the youth watched the other two with a grin.

Sora fluffed up Larxene's tail and grinned. "I won't be gone too long, and I will see you guys again! Take care of yourselfs..." He stood up, his face having a happy, yet sad look to it. He summoned his keyblades and began to float in the air. "Don't get into too much trouble and I'll try to do the same." Looking over to Larxene one more time he smiled brightly. "Now you know that friends are worth having, Lar, don't forget that. I really hope we meet up again, and soon..."
With that, Sora left, speeding off, using the power of the keys to propel himself away from the castle looming in the background of the forest. He knew he'd be back here someday, and hoped that it wasn't for anything bad.

Larxene watched Sora go until he was out of sight, then sighed, ears drooping slightly. After a moment, she looked back at Demyx then sprang up to her feet. "Well ... I don't know about you short stack, but I think I'm going to go back inside. Maybe get something to eat and head back to the library. You should find Luxord, I guess?" She brushed her coat off and started walking slowly back toward the castle. "Maybe we can still talk sometimes though..."

Larxene would find that Demyx had been watching Sora go as well, and the sitarist's ears were also drooping.
"Yeah...I'll go find Luxord in a bit..."
The blonde slowly got to his feet, turning to watch Larxene walk off.
""But...yeah! We can talk whenever Larxene, I'd like that!"
Indeed he would. Having another friend within the walls of the castle would be a great thing for the youth. He still wondered how long it'd be before he saw Sora again though. Eventually, the boy would wander back inside and to the gambler. He just wanted a bit more time outside first.
