The Twin Realms

As night began to fall, Megami headed out of the throne room, and went to her private pantry, then grabbed a bottle of Khalua and Shortbread cookies. She then proceeded to the guest chambers, and entered into the room where the woman was beign held. She had the door locked behind her, and she went and sat down on the foot of the bed, gazing upon the sleeping woman slightly longingly, keepiong her poise in case she suddenly attacked. She opened up the box of cookies and began munching on one, then washed it down with a swig of Khalua So, this is the woman who seems to be working as their sneak......she is quite a beautiful dessert........how she sparks my interest!

Megami kept her gaze fixated upon the window as the woman sat up, looked around, then blushed as she noticed Megami "So you are finally awake....I do hope that you have been treated with respect" She looked over to to woman, keeping her eyes from connecting, and smiled sweetly, then held the open box of cookies over to her. "Want some? These are the best cookies in the Twin Realms, and come from the famous bakery in the town on the west coast of Parleur. You really must try them" She kept her smile up, as she relaxed, her guard lowering

Megami smiled as Koori thanked her for the cookie "Your very welcome....You can have some more if you'd like....I also have soem Khalua here, imported from Earth Realm, it is quite good, though I would not drink too much unless you want to get drunk" she giggled a bit as well, then blushed a bit as Koori introduced herself

Koori

She extended a hand to Megami.

"Are you stuck here too?"

Megami shook her hand lightly, then sighed a bit as Koori asked her a question that was not the easiest thign to answer "I suppose you could say I am stuck here, but not entirely....you see, I originally was here by choice, but now, circumstances are a olot different, the people of Parluer need me, they need my comforting face to give them hope, they need me to be their moral support during these harsh times of war....." She turned her gaze from Koori slightly, her face showing a look almost of sadness "I know you are one of them, one of those people, the ones with the powers that rival those of our finest Haut soldiers.....why do you interfere with our war!? Do you really think you are helping matters by aiding those Auro barbarians without even knowing all the details!? Why must you meddle in affairs that do not concern you!?" She turned and noticed the slight look of nervousness on Koori's face, and sighed, nodding in apology "I am sorry, please forgive my sudden brashness, it is just that I have had a rough time since you people have come, and I am struggling to help the peopel of Parluer through this difficult time"

As Cyrus hit a jagged rock and broke it, he felt his left arm snap. Damnit! He half somersaulted into the air and landed quickly. He wiped the blood from his brow that was dripping from his temple, and grabbed his left arm, slightly arched due to a searing pain in his side caused to the blows he had taken. He glared fiercely at Vain, his eyes glowing brightly I can't win in a straight up assault.....it looks as if my kamikaze is the only thing I have left..... "Vain Ziler, your power is great, you may be strong, but your power is meaningless when clouded by arrgance and pride!" He focused his chi, concentrating every ouce of chi in his body to a single focal point Tallie, forgive me.... His chi hit it's peak. Cyrus rushed Vain, then sidestepped just as he reached the attack point, and rolled under and behind Vain before he had time to react "Die Vain Ziler!" Cyrus grabbed Vain from behind, locking him in a choke hold crossed with a bear hug attack. He rushed then forward, breaking through rock after rock, finally slamming him to the ground with a crash that created a small crater. He flew up out and threw Vain into the Crater, then charged, his body glowing white, into the crater, hitting vain full-force in the ribs with his skull. He felt a pop as his skull cracked along with vain's ribs, then he keeled over and fell to the side of Vain

Megami smiled gently in response to Koori's reply "Oh well, what's done is done, I suppose there is nothing to be done now....but please believe me, I really never wanted this war to get out of hand like this....all I want is peace for Parleur, and for Parleur to be the bright beautiful place it once was.....if those stupid Auro barbarians would just have seen that they brought this upon themselves, this coudl have been avoided.....even now, I am tempted to go attempt another peace treaty, but I cannot allow myself to risk it" Her stomach growled, and she stood up "It looks as if it is time for my supper....woudl you care to join me? The dining hall is down the corridor to the left, I will make sure and give an order to allow you to walk the palace as you please...I feel I may trust that you won't cause trouble" She smiled sweetly, then turned and walked otu fo the room, and headed down to the dining hall for dinner

Koori

"Cyrus... You b*****d... If you die-"

She filled with anger at the thought of having to tell Catalyxe about his death.

"I hate it... I hate him... If he lays one hand on Taki Ill kill him myself...!"

Megami turned just as she was leaving the room as Koori had a sudden outburst, and at once, she felt the quickly weakening life force of her brother. She turned around and glared slightly frightened "You sense it too.....my beloved Twin borther's life force....he is dying! But....how?"

Koori

"Um... Miss Megami, do you have any extra clothes I could borrow. I dont really have any. I dont think It would help me not causeing trouble to go wandering around in my underwear."

Megami quickly regained her composure, and wiped her frightened expression "You can walk aroudn nude if you wish, the guards really have no say so, and they woudl not mind anyway...however, if you would rather some clothing, I will send for some immidiately" She snapped her fingers, which sparked light, and a guard quickly showed up "Fetch Miss Koori some clothing from my Personal wardrobe please" The guard nodded, then left, and returned abotu a minute later with a black skirt with black roses patterned on it, and a black sleeveless shirt that matched it "I do hope these will be alright" She motioned, and the guard left

As Catalyxe entered into the Realm, he saw he was in the forest near the base. He immidiately felt Cyrus's dying aura, and Vain's evil aura flarign up with it Damnit! Why would he try to fight Vain alone....and without telling me!? He quickly ehaded in the direction of the auras, and found Vain standing over Cyrus's body, which was brutally beaten. Catalyxe's eyes filled with rage and he rushed Vain, ramming him with Nikushimi and sending him flying a good 300 feet away. He quiclly knelt down to Cyrus, who was still awake "Cyrus, why? Why did you do this? How could you go fight by yourself!?"

Cyrus forced a weak smile "Tallie....please do not be sad, I did this so you would not have to...but it appears I was not strong enough to protect you.....please, my love......for..give...me....please....." Cyrus's eyes went dull, and his body went limp

Catalyxe's eyes filled with tears as Cyrus's aura completely faded "How...how could this happen....how coudl I let this happen......." He stood up, his aura burning with rage like he had never felt, and he turned in the direction of Vain "You......it is all your fault....if only you would have never existed.....IF YOU HAD CURLED UP AND DIED LIKE THE ANNOYING LITTLE s**t YOU ARE!" Catalyxe screamed, his power overflowing, and it sent a sound attack that knocked back the trees. suddenly Noodle tapped catalyxe's head, ad he looked up to see his friend with a frightened expression on his face, and Catalyxe was brought back into sanity What am I doing......I need to get Cyrus away....only then can I work on bringing him back! "Vain Ziler, you better prepare yoruself, for we will meet again! Sooner than you think!" He put up a barrier, grabbed Cyrus's body, and flew off to the cave, entering through the barrier, not even noticing his attack had put a dent in the power of it. He entered through, walked past everyone, and laid Cyrus's body down in a corner. He then kneeled down to it, and fell over it, crying up a storm Why....why did this happen......how could I have let this happen......
