He huffed heavilly, gasping as he struggled to swallow the damned pill that kept his stupid heart working. He shuddered as the pill slid down his throat and hit his stomache, instantly disintagrating and pumping throughout his body into his blood vessels. The medication slid through every vessel, going into the main artery that connected to his heart. It seeped into every pore of his heart and cured the aching, clenching pain. Gasping now that he could breathe, he fell back onto the ground, tears rolling down his cheeks. "Jack....Jack...I want Jack..." He cried, laying there in his own blood. When he managed to climb to his feet, he shakingly wrapped his arms around Martin. "Thank-you...god...thank-you so much, Martin!" He sobbed into his friend's shoulder, before suddenly going slack in his arms. "Jack...please, get me Jack..." and then he blacked out, darkness crawling into every corner of his vision.

Jaysen88 Jack knocked on the door of Ryuichi's classroom before poking his head in. The industrial arts teacher had gotten the cold shoulder from most of the academics, but he usually got along with the other creative instructors. "...Hey, since we're in the same building together and our offices adjoin, I thought I should introduce myself. I'm Jack Hart. I teach metal and woodshop." He stepped inside, offering out a plate of beignets. "... If I do donuts, they're these things. At least it's an indulgence with style." Ryuichi looked at the other teacher, surprise clearly seen in his eyes. "Oh my..." Then realizing what the other man wanted he grinned a little, "Hello Mr.Hart. I'm Ryuichi Nakano." He looked around, genturing at the blank walls, "Well you probably wouldn't guess, but I teach art and ceramics." He looked at the plate and smiled, his face softening, "It looks delicious." Then he offered to his tea pot, "Uh, would you like some tea, or coffee?" Ryuichi motioned to the back as he stood from his desk, "I have some more cups in the back?" He pushed his long locks of dark hair off his shoulder, then tied it to a high pony tail, yet the length still reached under his rear.

((apologies for spotty appearances.. illness is a girl dog))
"Coffee would be nice, thanks. I've got my cup in my office." He set the bag of donuts on the desk and stepped through the door connecting Ryuichi's office to the storeroom, and then into his office beyond. "Art and ceramics, huh? Then you must have Rei Sugashi in one of your classes. He's got quite the talented eye for graphics and design and I'm pretty sure he's taking art."
Jack, it would be noted, left his door open, so anyone coming into his office could be heard and could hear him even when he went back into the art teacher's office.

OOC: ::huggles:: feel better!
IC:Ryuichi blinked for a second recognizing the name. "Hm, perhaps I do... It does sound familiar." He took hold of his coffee pot and pulled out some creme' and sugar in case Jack would like some. Ryu looked around slightly, "Hm, I think I have some strawberry tarts here somewhere." He set down the pot and dug through his mini fridge. "Aha!" he pulled out a fair sized plate of strawberry tarts, "I made them myself." He went to his desk and put down the plate. Ryuichi looked back at Jack, "How long have you been teaching here?"

Lan left Rei's room, having checked up on the boy after his sudden and very severe attack. He let Martin stay with the unconscious Rei as he left to find his mother. When he moved down the stairs to the enterance to the dorms, he ran into her. "OH! Miss Sugashi...Yes, yes, you're son will be fine. A fellow student, and a very courageous one at that, carried him to his room and gave him his medication." At the woman's tears, he hugged her and gave her the reaqssurance she needed. "He's asleep right now; Martin's watching over him. Why don't you go see him?" Then he went on his way. He walked into the school building with a sigh, debating whether or not to disrupt Jack's conversation with this news or not. When Rei had begged to see him, he'd assumed there was soemthing going on between the two of them. It didn't bother him at all really, he was happy that Rei had found someone to take care of him.
He moved down the hall and towards the door that led to where Jack was lounging and chatting with Ryuichi, the newest addition to the school. He stopped there, pushing the black hair from his violet eyes, and leaned against the door jam. "Well...what to do now?" Rei mother ran up the stairs as if the devil himself was chasing her; her son was alright! He was alive! She ran to the third floor and practically rammed her way into Rei's room. She spotted her son, laying peacefully on the couch, a pillow and blanket making him comfortable as he rested. She walked over to the couch, carefully walking around the blood and vomit as another teacher cleaned it up.
She knelt beside her son and, as tears ran freely from her eyes, she rested her hand in her son's hair and soothingly ran her fingers through it. "Oh my boy...my baby boy..." She weeped, laying her head on his chest, thanking god that he was alright.

"Wow, a real feast." Jack grinned, fixing his coffee with a little sugar and helping himself to a tart. He had a taste, his eyes lighting up. "You should teach culinary arts, too. These are great!"
He had a seat on the couch. "He's got blond hair and golden brown eyes and an attitude like he's got life all figured out already, but under that he's really a great guy." He wasn't aware of the smile that crept onto his face that betrayed his special feelings for the student.

A slight tint of pink stained Ryuichi's cheeks at the comment. No one had called his baking skills 'great' before. "Why thank you, I never heard anyone call them great before, I've been cooking for myself for so long I wouldn't know. Haha."
He eyed the smiled on the other man's face and grinned, "Ah, I see you two seem to have a special relationship." It wasn't a question. Leave it to Ryuichi to be a blunt SOB.
He didn't apologize for it, but the little grin stayed on his lips even as he sipped his tea.

OOC: I know. My mom gets that way about me whenever I get sick or seem upset. eek It kinda scares me sometimes. Meep! Lan decided it was best to tell Jack what was going on, possibly Ryuichi as well, since the young man is one of his students. He walked into the classroom and back towards the office door. He knocked lightly on the door frame, to announce that he was there. "Excuse me..."

Jack looked up quickly, blushing a little. "Um, yeah, we do. He's my.." He looked up at Lan, not sure if he was there to see him or Ryuichi, since it was the latter's office, but he seemed to be looking at him. "Hi. Need anything?"

OOC: Mothers tend to be that way a lot. It's kind of sweet.
IC: Ryuichi's sleek dark eyes moved to the man at the door, "Oh hello, may we help you?" he asked politely.

"Um..." He rubbed the back of his head, blushing a little across his cheeks; he wasn't really one to be social, except with his friends, and he really didn't know these two at all. Shaking it off, he walked into the room and adjusted his coat. "Rei...he, um, had another attack. A very bad one, very severe. I thought I should let you know..."

Jack, on the other hand, turned pale, dropping his cup. Usually he was easy going and the level and cool head in any crisis, but Rei wasn't just anyone. "Where is he? Is he okay? Did he get his meds?" He numbly picked up his cup, grabbing a handful of tissues to clean up the spill on the couch. "Mr. Nakano, any chance I can get you to cover my first class today at 10? All you have to do is unlock the supply door for them, they're just working on basic soldering and they've got their kits and instructions already from last class."

"He's fine...for now." Lan nodded to both of them, trying to soothe over their worry. "He's resting in his room right now. Martin, Mr. Rikau, and his mother are with him. It was probably because of Martin that Rei is still alive; he carried him to his room and fetched the medications." He crossed his arms and thought carefully. "He hasn't had an attack this bad in years, it could be a bad sign. We need to keep a careful eye on him from now on and make sure he doesn't over exert himself."
