Mari spotted the wristband and eyed it curiously. "What is that?" She lifted up her right hand and pointed at the band.

oh. these are to help me train. i got some for you too
*he opened a small portal and reached through pulling out another pair of wristband. he handed them with her but didn't tell her they were extremely heavy*

Mari reached out her hand to take them and then her hand fell as she grabbed them and her eyes widened. "Woah!" She then adjusted to them and held them up. Putting one in each hand and just moving them up and down feeling their weight. "I see. Training weights."

Mari raised her eyebrow at him and gave him a disbelieving look. "We? Why do I have to keep them on 24/7?"

Mari kept the bands in her hands, but crossed her arms. "And what is this plan of yours?" She just squinted her eyes and didn't really like where this was going because for the most part she didn't know where this was going.

i've got this all planned out. on the war day the first thing we'll do is wait in the city until they show up. as soon as i smell them i'll teleport us to them. i'll concentrate on wiping out as many of them as i can with my technique. you on the other hand, i want you to focus on kano and only kano. dont bother with anything else unless you have to. odin will cover you with his fire breath. i should take out a good number of nightfiends by the time my technique runs out. at that time i'll come and help you beat kano. but if you get the chance to kill him, take it.

She seemed surprised that he would want her to focus on Kano. She figured Smash would want to deal with him. "You want me to attack Kano?"

All she did was let out a sigh and put the wristbands on. They felt heavy, but she wasn't about to complain. If he wanted her to do this she would, but she wasn't going to keep them on 24/7. If she wanted to take them off for a reason, she would. She lifted her hands up and clenched her fists. Moving her arms up and down a few times to try to get used to them.

Mari just gave him a small glare and mumbled. "Easy for you to say..." She looked on the brightside. At least she didn't have them around her ankles as well.
