*Kas was the last to be seated at the table, since she had to make sure Zelos was fed as well. She had some mashed carrots there for him, since he wasn't old enough to handle solid foods yet.* "I hope you all enjoy it " *She said. She took a spoonfull of stew and tasted it. It was good, even though she rushed.*

Daoin took a seat next to Fae and gave her a grin. "It's great food Kas. Maybe even Zelos there would be able to handle it." he looked at the baby for a few minutes and sudden;y felt conciencious that he was sitting next to Fae. "So...how have things been going for you two?"

She caught Daoin's reaction and wanted to roll her eyes. Why were the elve girls so agressive and the guys so...polite? Nevermind "I think it's pretty good too. And a lot better than I could make with the given time."

Aes had taken a seat so that Zelos was in between himself and Kasumi. Enjoying the stew, he was surprised to hear Mr. Daoin's question "Fine?" but the tension between Ms. Fae and Mr. Daoin was present, so he was most likely thinking of that rather than implying anything.

Akira got up from under the window. He walked away slowly...stealthily. ninja This place is wierd he thought. He walked out into the wilderness I am never coming here again..

"Things have gotten a tad hectic" *She confessed.* "With the feuneral and everything..." *She said as she took a spoonfull of the mashed carrots and attempted to try and get Zelos to eat some of it before he started throwing a fit like last time*

*he tried the carrots, and, when he found them to his likeing, began eating with no protest. He was rather confused by all the people in the house, but since they all seemed nice enough it didn't bother him.*

*After she finished feeding Zelos she left the room for a moment and then returned with his stuffed plushie in hand. She'd left it in the wash and forgot to take it out. She handed the toy to her son and finished her stew. Then she arose, put the plates away and sat down once more .*

"I'm sorry, I'm so tired from fighting this body all day, I think it's time I turned in for the night." He rose and bowed to everyone "It was a great meal Kasumi, I'm only sorry I coudn't stay awake longer."

"That's fine. It's always a pleasure to have you over" *Kasumi said with a smile as she took his bowl and put that in the sink as well. She'd take care of the dishes later*

"Then I'll come with you," announced Fae, standing up. Aes already knew, but she explained to Kasumi "He gets the nightmares, but elixers are too dangerous to use." They made their way upstairs to where Aes had told them there were spare rooms. She wondered if Aes ever had trouble sleeping now.

*kas nodded and watched the two go away. she leaned back in her chair and gave a sigh, a little tired from doing all the mom stuff and the cooking. She smiled when she looked at Aes and said* "How is it?"

"I like it. It is your cooking of course. That, I am grateful to be able to eat something like this. While I was away it was strickly meat and so forth." He wanted to do the dishes. Kasumi had after all prepared the entire meal. "What time should Zelos be in bed?" He looked at him, their son seemed oddly relaxed. Perhaps he was just tired.

"Zelos should be in bed in a few minutes. I was hoping the carrots would make him a bit tired" *She said as she looked over to her son and gave another smile* "I can put him down for a nap right now. He has his toy so he'll go right to sleep..." *it had been a very long time since they got a moment alone. It was nice...*

"Alright. I think I will start cleaning the dishes if that is alright." he kissed her cheek and went to the kitchen. His mind was fairly blank, just thinking about how the day had gone.
