Hello fellow clarinets!!
I'm a seniro at north high school, yey!!
going to miss marching band so much after this year, crying but i have made such good friends that i will never forget and will love forever. I'm looking forward to playing in a college marching band
Anyone else here a senior

hi ^^ i play Clarinet. and Bass Clarinet as well 3nodding i'm only in 9th grade, but I think that I play decently. blaugh

I've been playing clarinet for.... *counts on fingers* 3 1/2 years (my band teacher swithced me to contra base clarintet, then alto sax, then back to contra this year alone.... now she's trying to teach my the flute.... she's evil). So I'm just a 7th grader confused with fingerings blaugh .

(i'll throw something bandish in) but... i REALLY like your signature pic.... tom felton is so hot... and i still play the clarinet... and I'm still a sophmore..... but will miss ny senior band friends... especially my clarinety seniors

gansta singer i kno how that is (( god i dont like when teacher s switch me )) ive been switched *counts* 3 times i think... from alto sax, to clarinet, to bass calrinet stressed

i've played clarinet for 5 years....wow, i've never counted before....I play for the Moore high school marching band and one of the concert bands. i think i play pretty good but then there are people who are way better, so Any way!!!
I'm such a clarinet player-i walk around school sucking on a reed... and in the end of eighth grade i started playing on a size 4.5 reed...Yep, I love my Clarinet!!!!

Hey i am in 7th grade and have been playing the clarinet for 2 years. Now I play bass clarinet. I think i am decent but have only been playing for a year! CLARINETS RULE!

Mika Ibuki hello! I am new here. I have been playing the clarinet for 8 years. I have to take some time to read this thread...it's so long! gonk lol. WOW...... that's a long time.... anyway, welcome!!!! it's a good that there are so many posts.... that means there are a lot of clarinetists here!!! It's sad..... in my wind ensemble, there are only 4 clarinetists :crying:

I have a question for the bass clarinets, and maybe the clarinets. In one of my pieces, I do from a high D straight to a high B with a tongue in between. My question is, do you have any tips for going that high? I can slur all the way up to high C perfectly, but I have all sorts of issues with tongueing.

I picked up the clarinet from my step-mom in 5th grade. I've now been playing for 7 years. I also play bass clarinet, and would love to learn to play contra bass clarinet. That would be great. I love my clarinet. It's wood, and has gotten totally destroyed by me. I feel bad. I dropped it off a high shelf in 8th grade and got cracked between the two main peices. It still plays fine, but sometimes air leaks out. sweatdrop I can't decide if i want to persue this into college. It's just too much work.
