Katare couldn't go any faster; he had pushed himself enough already. Amazingly enough, however, Katare managed to maintain his blurry speed without many signs of losing very much stamina. This is insane, he thought. I had no idea i could do this... Eventually, Katare managed to get head-to-head with Mura, and simply showed him a friendly smile.

Mura smiled back, not an actual smile, but more a "Im gonna show you" smile.
Mura decided to try something else he had seen many other ninja do. The Body Flicker Technique.. Mura had never tried it before, but he figured he could at the VERY least try it. Mura pulled in his chakra while running beside Katare, and focused it to the balls of his feet, and tried pushing out with all his might. It somehow worked, though he had only seen it done before today. Mura flickered forward, and when he looked back he could see that Katare was easily 30 metres behind him. YESSSSS!

Katare was amazed at Mura's newly learned technique. Whether you win or lose, you're going to be my best rival, Mura...
Katare began to slow down. Time and speed was beginning to take his toll. And there, 30 meters in front of him, was Mura. Not Mura's blur, just Mura... I'm not ready to give up yet!
(Yes, the post is fine', but I simply implied that Katare hadn't quite lost the race yet...)

((Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique)
A high-speed movement technique. It is described as 'appearing with the wind and disappearing like the wind.' A very basic jutsu, it appears that most shinobi above Genin-rank know it. Using chakra to activate the body, the user is able to move from one point to another with extreme speeds. This super-fast movement is almost impossible to see with the naked eye. To a normal person, it would seem as if the user has teleported. The amount of Chakra used depends on the distance and elevation between the user and the destination.

Damage: N/A
Requeriments: Dexterity 20+
Training days: 3 days.

Mura looked back at Katare, and decided that he had to get going. Kinami would be waiting. He slowed down near his stuff, and grabbed it and put it back on, as he waited for Katare to stop.

Katare halted moments before he smacked into Mura. "So, what was that, 11 Laps? Maybe more, I couldn't see very well..." Katare chuckled a little bit, then looked up. It was already sunset. "You're going to see Kinami, aren't you?" Katare paused for a moment. "We should train together again sometime, I'd love to learn some of those abilities..."

Mura looked at Katare. "Yeah, definitely man. But next time, were gonna work on your academy level jutsus." he said. "That one, you need to be pretty quick naturally to pull off... " Mura began to walk back to the village. "You gave me a pretty good run there Katare. W'ell finish that later, eh? Oh yeah. I'd call that about 14 laps. Good job, you did better than I did the first time."
And with that, Mura left to the village.
(( dont forget to post in the exp thread the url of these last few pages, and say what kinda training u did. actually, since i helped, ill post for all three of us, but next time your gonna hafta post. kay. ummm lessee... thats it! lol good race btw))

(Okay, I was going to put it in the exp thread anyways, but I guess I don't really have to this time...)
"Yes, I'd love to race you again sometime, after I learn the basics of course. I can tell that you're the one I'll have to beat to become the best." While Mura was walking away, Katare attempted to do one of Mura's stretches - the one that Katare had failed to do just before the race.
Katare managed to move his torso around 360 degrees without moving his legs at all. "And just so you know, Mura, I learn quickly." And with that remark, Katare left the plateau and headed home for the night.

Ikkou arrived at Shi plateau and Saw some people running against each other. They stopped and it seemed like one of them went home. "Whats going on here?" he talked to himself. "Suddenly everyone disappears from academy and now everybodys somewhere i dont know about." Ikkou continued. He just stood there without understanding the situation.
((I have no idea whats happening here. If somebody would be kind enough to give me somekind of recap of what happened after you all left the academy?))

((I got bored of waiting someone to answer...))
"Oh well, seems like everyone is training, i shouldnt fall too much behind." Ikkou said and started training himself. He decided to warm himself up running around the plateau. He started running on edges of the plateau and while running around he decided to train his techniques at the same time, because you dont always have time to stand still in combat. He accelerated, brought his hands to Tiger seal and shouted "Henge no jutsu!".
It worked perfectly! Ikkou transformed into a Wheel and was rolling on the edge of a cliff. But when he was about to roll off the cliff he released the technique quickly and grabbed a tight grip from a hole on the ground. "Woah! That was a close one, i better not try that again anytime soon." Ikkou said as he stood back up. "Well i better finish this lap and then i could try my Bunshin no jutsu." He said and continued running the rest of the lap. When he finally finished on starting point, his breathing was heavy and he was sweating a bit. "Whew, that was a good warm up!" he sighed with relief..

Once Ikkou had finished the lap he decided to try bunshin techniques. He took a rock about the height of a person and got ready to run at it. He started running towards the rock from safe distance, while running he started by making a seal for the technique. "Bunshin no jutsu!" He said with a bit higher voice than usual.
But no bunshins appeared next to Ikkou and he almost ran straight on the rock. He was able to lower a bit damage by taking the impact with his hands. "Its a bit harder to concentrate while running." Ikkou said and sat down on the ground to catch his breath.

Ark got to the plateau, and saw that everyone was still training. ''Wow...since when did training get so 'hip'?'' he said to himself. He then saw that Ikkou was out in the distance. ''HEY IKKOU!'' he said as he bolted towards his new student, then tackling him to the ground. ''How does it feel to be a genin now!?!'' he said smiling while giving Ikkou a noogie. ''So, since your a genin now, I can teach you some cool jutsu! wanna learn some?'' Ark then remembered something pretty important. ''Oh, Ikkou, if you ever see Gig or Navalie around, tell them to head to Abunai Canyon. We are going to have a little 'team meeting' there, and you should be getting your headband then.'' Ark then decieded to just go to the canyon. ''See ya there buddy!''

"Ouch!" Ikkou yelled as Ark tackled him. Then he heard Ark saying something about teaching him some techniques. "Cool jutsu?! Of course i want to learn some new jutsu." Ikkou yelled with as he jumped back up. "What did you have in mind!?" Ikkou asked with joyful feel in his voice. Then Ark mentioned about having a team meeting in Abunai canyon. "Oh well i should be going then." He said and followed his sensei.

Ren spotted Ark tackling Ikkou. So, she thought, teams have already been decided. She tipped her head to the side. I wonder who's on my team...
Yawning, Ren stood up to stretch. She'd find out soon enough.

(yes, I've read all this...and I'll tell you what I've done since I got off)
before the madness starts: Kei walks slowly then runs behind a rock to avoid danger...
after it ends and genin are called to the kage: Kei is pushed by Rai towards the kage, and has no clue why...
when kage strips...: Kei is too freaked out to move and is EXTREMELY glad that Rai covered her eyes....
Whilr Rai kicks Roy: Kei holds on for dear life...
Rai is carrying Kei to the academy: Freaked out and tired, Kei just puts her head down and ignores the world for a while...
