After a few moments longer, Roy calmed downa nd soon began to walk back into the tower. He made the long treck back up the steps and soon pushed open the door, oblivous to anyone being nearby. He wasn't even thinking to be on guard. He moved into the room and looked to Kinami....

"Ok...let me have it. I know your pissed event hough you have no right to be."

Kinami had finally organized her papers, and was working on organizing the genin teams when she heard Roy return. Ignoring him, she began to write down random names into groups of three. She didn't look up or deign to answer his comment, instead, favoring the choice of concentrating on her work.

[Smelling would be Track... or just wis mod O_o

And actually, if you sacrifice most of your skills like Zinny or Skyler do then it's simple to have like 300 in a certain skill XD]

((Kinami took a worse hit than Ryoko, you know.))

Kinami finished with her paperwork, still not saying anything. She continued to ignore Roy, standing and walking past him as if he wasn't there. She opened the door and quickly spoke with the guard on duty, then closed it and turned to survey the room.

She let her eyes pass over him, acting as if he were a mere shadow on the wall. She greeted Etna with a nod, then uncrossing her arms, walked back to her desk. Sitting primly, she examined her emotions.

She knew that she was mad, and she felt that she had every right to be. She couldn't sleep on the job, even if she could technically delegate things to someone else. She was responsible for her people, and as such, she liked to know what was going on. She knew the signs of treachery well- if it was cropping up in her village like the last time the woman tried to take over, she wanted to know about it.

She also knew she ought to apologize for her reflexes. Just as well, she knew that she would be expecting an apology for the extra mess that probably wouldn't come.

Once, long ago, Kinami's mother had told her that a relationship was all give and take. Compromise. To expect things in return, one had to be willing to give up an equal exchange. That was the way of life, she had been told, and the way relationships worked no matter what sort they were.

Sighing, Kinami said, "While I'm sorry that I hit you out of annoyance and reflex, I'm ticked off that you threw my documents into disarray. Instead of getting it done quickly and being able to retire for the night, you just gave me extra work."

And that's about as much of an olive branch as she felt like giving at the moment.

Roy looked down. He had been a bit childish with things... He looked down for a moment and then over to the side and away from her. She was definatly being nicer than usually. He wasn't sure how to t ake it. Usually, she would stand fast like a mule to her beliefes and not budge unless you brought the facts of the gods themselves to bare against her. This...caught him off guard.

"I...umm...well...I just...I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have been so childish about it...specially when I came in here to try and give you 'less' work to do. Friends?" he looked up to her sheepishly and waited to see her response.

[[T.T etna stats are messed up. gotta wait to check bromy's character. oh well.]]

Etna looked around for a moment then shrugged it off. She looked to Kinami and grinned. "Hmmm, depends." She looked over to Roy and then got an evil grin on her face. "This place is boring at night...mmmm I want some action." She moved to the table and began to look over toward Kinami. "Why don't you and the boy get frisky?"

Roy's face went completly red and his eyes almost blanked out.

Etna grinned at the prospect. This Tai person was also the leader of the ANBU now. He was sure to have some valuable information. And she did so love to see different human mating rituals. They were just such interesting creatures to her. She looked to Kinami then followed her gaze to Roy. She saw the look of embarrisment covering the boys face and felt it was more important to in crease that embarasement for her own amusment.

"Hmmm maybe later. I'm more interested in you two and your mating dance or ritual or whatever the hell you humans call it. I've always heard young human males have exceptional stamina in that area and this boy seems to be conserving his energy through sheer lazyness as of late so he interests me to no end. I would love to see how one with as much energy as the Lady Kage keeps up with a young strapping lad like this. Call it...research if you will."

Roy knew it...he knew it was possible and now he had documented proof. He knew it was possible for the human heart to stop beating out of fear/embarrasement and the person still be alive. He was living proof of that now.

Etna simply settled down for a moment and then sighed. She glanced at Roy for a moment and grinned, "Hmmm I say give him 2 years and that'll change. You'll have to fight him off with a stick..." She then looked to Kinami. She took into account what she knew of Kinami's personality and what she knew of peoples aging. She then smiled again, "Or...if he plays his cards right...he might have to beat YOU off with a stick." she chuckled. Meanwhile, Roy was in a corner rocking back and forth as if he had seen a ghost.
