By the time Yume had returned, Pander's eyes were black stones. He was tossing things around like mad, searching for something. He punched the mantle of the fireplace. One of the bricks fell and shattered, revealing an empty clip for his gun. He scooped it up. The side read Clip of Almost Infinite Holding. It may appear emtpy now, but it had a full one billion rounds.

He pulled out his gun and emptied the clip that was in it already. Taking those bullets, he put them in the clip of holding. The old clip was useless now so he dropped it on the chair. He slid the Clip of Holding up into his gun and cocked it. He was ready to go. He felt an odd feeling, like someone was calling him, or maybe not. He wasn't sure but he was going to find out and kill the person for annoying him.

He looked to the door in the wall that lead to the shaft up to the village. Since his caller was in the forest, going through the village was his best bet. He pulled up his jacket, sliding his gun back into it's holster behind his back. Increased speed was easier to attain for Pander's dark side. He zipped to the door, opened it, and was up the rope, running through the village in less than a minute flat. He jumped from the plateau that was the opening to the village straight down into the forest.

((Moving to Ancient Forest))

Lorelai smiled at Usagihana, giggling a little as the robot floated up to her and began conversing. Nodding, she pulled out a USB cable looking device and started looking for an appropriate panel to plug Usagihana into her equipment. "Sure thing! Just let me get you all hooked up here..." she said, fiddling around with her sensors as she finally found a place where the little robot could uplink with her equipment. "The energy waves are just beginning to crest again after a short period of latency. The thing I've found the most interesting so far is that the energy she's emitting is highly charged with chronotons - minute quantum particles capable of traveling along the timestream. Very intriguing, I must say."

She looked down to Kira as he grabbed the little robot and began shaking it, quickly grabbing her wires and letting loose some extension so the connections wouldn't be damaged. "You know, no one is forcing you to watch this," she remarked, typing with one hand while waving a finger at Kira with the other. "Didn't she just tell you she'd be fine, and not to worry about her? Seems to me if you care so much about her, you should at least trust her words." Shrugging her shoulders, she smiled as she dug around in the bag she was carrying with her, fishing out a chocolate bar and breaking off a piece to eat.

Lorelai turned again to look at Kira, an expression of pure curiosity on her face as she blinked her big lavender eyes. "Have I ever been in love?" She cocked her head to the side, chewing on her chocolate bar and thinking for a moment before cheerfully shrugging her shoulders. "No, I haven't." She smiled mysteriously.

Staring back out over the lake and at Rivera once again, she leaned back a little against the trunk of the tree, swinging her legs over the side of the branch she was sitting on. "It'll be over when it's over, and it'll end on its own," she said simply. "I've heard it's only supposed to last a week. At any rate, her vital signs don't seem to be in any severe jeopardy."

Lorelai shook her head. "I'm not going to tell you anything at all if you keep speaking so rudely," she said. "Also, I do not recall lecturing you on the nature of love. I have spoken of many things during this conversation, but love was decidedly not one of them." Even as she lectured Kira, her smile did not falter.

"Er... excuse me," she said, blushing slightly as one of her monitors beeped. "I misspoke earlier. Ten days." She typed a few more things into her computer. "I believe we are on the fourth day."

((Riyoku said that the event is 10 days RPwise and 5 days real time wise. I'm not exactly sure what that means for what Lorelai is telling Kira, but for purposes of this RP, let's just say she got it right, even if I didn't.))

Lorelai nodded back at Kira as he turned to sit on the bank. She figured it would probably be best at this point if she just left him alone. He most likely needed some time to sort out his thoughts. In the meantime, though, there was plenty of research to be done. The clacking of Lorelai's fingers against the keys on her keyboard rang out through the scene, mixing with the eerie sounds of rushing water and Rivera's low chanting.

Suddenly something came out of the brush. Shepard turned around ready to attack. BUt it was only Hk-47 hello. " Greeting: Hello master. I havge come here requesting that you let the organic female repair me. Why I believe she is standing over there near that contraption I think is a droid." Hk said pointing to Lorelai. Shepard looked angerily at Hk.


" Your kidding right? She busy collecting data that could be very useful on that girl over there." he said pointing to the person in the lake. Hk-47 said looked over and promptly scanned Rivera. He turned back tp Shepard.

" Master she is a meatbag. are you studying hjer so you can kill her? Oh joy master. You should called me. Assaination mode activating" Hk-47 said raising his rifle. " No. Do not fire!" Shepard yelled stopping Hk-47.


" Disappointment: Master you truly sometimes make me regret being activated. " it said to Shepard. Shepard sighed and walked back over to Lorelai.

Shepard spread his wings. " I have to go to my home planet. I'm leaving Hk-47 with you Lorelai. HK follow her every order. If you want to come just tel HK and he will get you there. I'd take you now but theres just to many and I don't think me and Gordon could handle it. See ya" he said flying off.
