Gaidin Lord Rand Al Thor Hi Serial biggrin I have a question about the Profile I got my rank back from my sampl ( 3 YAY!!) But I was wondering if I where to use a point a weapons mastery (blademaster) would that let me have a heron marked blaed or would that need me to use another point for the rare possesion? Also the profile section said something about applying to be an asha'man. I would like to do that if able.
As for Asha'man status, that you would have to ask Az about, though asking her the other question would be best too, since that is her area afterall. I just tend to be online more than most people here whee As far as I know it is fine, but again, not my area...*nods in agreement*

If it is a heron marked blade made with the One Power though, that is a sword that requires another point because there were only so many of those that were made and survived the years making that type of blade rare. That is just my understanding of the books. Different characters showed up in the series wielding a heron marked blade, but not all of them were made with the one power.

My character's sword is Power-embued, but not completely made from the Power, nor is it a Heron. The reason it is allowed that I know of is because of my rank that gives me max leeway, and that it is one of the few skills that Wes has in the Power besides Cloud Dancing, which I even used a priority point for to signify how good he is with it.

the pirate is a good choice when randmoly emoting. Of course now I need to put togather a character. also a what time does this guild take place? are the seachean invading? There are Ash'man so im assuming the one power has been cleansed. There is a diffrent aymerileyn and I could have sworn I saw someone RPing as arthur Hawking. This is al confusing me.

If your character isn't a BladeMaster but has a heron-marked blade it gets confusing to rp. But I guess if that is what you are going for you can go ahead, Rand wasn't one for a long time when he had his, after all. ^_^
If it is Power-Wrought then it costs another point. But if not, than like Alena and Gadin said, the Heron is the mark of a BladeMaster so that is perfectly fine.
You two covered it all pretty well. smile
