When things went terribly wrong, Pendour was almost always the one to end up hurt. Sometimes she just ended up in unlucky places, while other times she threw herself in front of others, in dangerous times.

She carried scars from all that. Pendour had had claws in her eye socket. She'd had fingers curled around her starseed. She'd had blades in her back.

She'd seen others hurt, but only a few times. A single starseed had been pulled from a stranger's chest in front of her, once.

She'd never seen something like that happen to someone she considered a friend.

When Lyndin started throwing Caedus around like a ragdoll, Pendour stiffened even more against Encke. Her chest felt hot, and it was only growing hotter and hotter with each passing second. When his starseed, the poor damaged thing, was pulled from his chest, Pendour let out a scream that she quickly struggled to cut off into a gasp.

The heat spread from her chest down her arms, into her hands. Encke was calling his attack at Lyndin, and for a terrible moment, Pendour was tempted to follow his lead and throw herself at him.

In all the tension, she found that her fingers had curled into a fist at her side. The same fire and fear was in her belly now as there had been that night when the wolf general had held her by the throat, and she'd found herself lashing out at him back then.

She wouldn't do that again. She'd promised herself.

Her fists curled tighter. That energy had to go somewhere. Every breath felt like fire.

Pendour would never hurt anyone, but there was a single exception to that rule.

To keep herself from lashing out, she crossed her arms and dug her fingernails deep into her own shoulders. She held herself so tightly between the stress of it all and her Squire strength that drops of blood began to pool under her fingernails, widening to rivulets as she moved her hands.

With that, some of the fire faded. The pain brought a disturbingly pleasant amount of clarity.

One of the Velencyans was already going for the lever. Lyndin was already being attacked, and Pendour did nothing to complain about it. Instead, she looked at him flatly.

"If he dies, it'll maybe take a thousand years for him to be reborn," she said.

It wasn't what she wanted to tell him. She wanted to weep and to beg for the life of her friend. The tears were threatening. She wanted to ask Lyndin if strength was really the most important thing to him, if being a senshi was more important than being someone who brought someone blankets to keep them warm while they slept, more important than anything else.

She didn't think he'd listen to anything other than cold logic, though, so she dug her fingernails in even deeper and she continued, "Can Velencya survive that long? We can probably fix his starseed in a few weeks, if you let us. You could have asked."

Her voice shook, despite her best efforts, and there was something pleading in her eyes. "You can ask now."

The words coming from the main console were obviously...it was...They were.

Aeleas suddenly could only hear a faint, high pitched buzzing in her ears, and she swayed as she brandished her knife once again at the General, her vision beginning to white out as she gasped in what was very nearly physical pain.

Looked like a whole lot of s**t went down in a short timeframe.

Adonis was fine to hang back, watch the sparks fly, watch everyone else put their asses out for a few good kicks. Surprised as hell to see there were aliens, but considering senshi existed, he was quick to get over that surprise. He still thought it was a helluva headscratcher that they were even there in the first place, sort-of-but-not-really under the Negaverse's nose. And here he thought all the space people were dead and gone, and only the senshi were around to carry on the names of those places symbolically or whatever.

But nope. They were right here, playing Spanish Soap Opera in the dead center of everything. Even holding one of them up and pulling the starseed out as dramatically as can be. Yeah, Adonis could get on board with it. Would've liked for some movie theatre candy if he had tickets to a show like this.

That starseed technique, though — whew. Adonis cringed to watch that sucker come out of the other alien's chest. Figured that would be the end of that, the other alien could throw the thing over his shoulder, or pop it into his mouth, or propose to goddamn Laurelite with it, whatever. Show was over, as far as he was concerned.

So he turned back to his boss, and his boss's friend? Boyfriend? Random partner? And their toasty little generator. There was already so damn much going on that Adonis didn't want to try to figure it out. Some corrupt slapped a generator before vanishing from sight with some dude Adonis had never seen before in his life, and the other big guy looked engrossed in a fascinating conversation. Adonis strolled toward his boss instead, figured they must be giving orders all divided, and sported an irreverent little salute as he approached her.

"Where do you want me, Boss?" There was a whole battlefield full of bullshit; he wouldn't blame Sylvite if she didn't have a plan ready.

Eternal Caliban

Action: Moving to F4 and attacking generator... this time

Caliban nodded to the two again. "All right, I think we have our plan then." He said, but before he could take a step, there was a laser that was shot into the sky. Caliban and then a wave of energy came from the generator and he had to move his arm over his eyes for a moment. When it was over he frowned. "That's... not a good sign." He said to the Pages, though they may not have heard them. It made him hesitate to attack the generator that was closest to them.

Maybe... maybe the generators were only there and were supposed to shoot that laser into the sky for a reason. Were the generators a red herring? "Be careful you two. I think there's more to this than just getting rid of these generators." He said before moving over to the one that was closest to them and tossing a somewhat large rock at it. If possible, he did not want to be near generator when it exploded. There was a Prince already there, so attacking any Agents wouldn't be a problem.

But he would wait for a second generator to go down before he stopped attacking. Perhaps another one being destroyed would give another clue.

Was it just him or was everyone attacking his generator? It certainly seemed like it and this was his generator - it wasn't theirs to destroy and break. He also was not pleased when some knight smacked Noctua - she was also his. She was one of the few who remained of his team and she was loyal to a fault, like now it seemed. Gathering himself, keeping himself from lashing out without thought he watched as others tried, and did, attakc his generator. He also watched Arseno attack that knight who had hit his corrupt senshi. A nod of his head before the petite general was sneering at Asphodel. "And that is why you are a knight and no longer a General - too weak and incompetitent." He was looking to rile this knight up, people tended to do irrational things when they didn't think...and that made it easy to take someone down. They didn't think, didn't fight properly...they were weak and open. And an alien was suddenly there with a dagger and swinging it at him. Slashing open layers of fabric and drawing a line of red across his fair skin, watching it drip down his skin and past his opened layers.

But for now he'd leave that kngiht ,they'd already taken a good beating from Arseno, he'd thank him properrly later. "Noctua, I realize you're injured. We'll address it later, I wouldn't ask this of most or expect it either. But can you continue the fight and assist in removing these pests?" He knew she was on her feet, and that was a shock to see, but he knew she had to be hurting as well. No one took ahit like that, and spat out blood, and wasn't in some sort of pain. He didn't want to push her but he needed her here to help in the task set before them. He didn't want to plead with her, promise her a doctors trip after this, but he did let her know what she needed to know.

"I trust you can continue." He knew she'd try at the very least, she was that sort of determined. This was why he trusted her and agve her such trust and sent her against people like this. He knew she could handle it...and was willing to dive into things. Wait till the day she became an eternal senshi for them.....the white moon would fear coming across her. The rock which came sailing his way slammed into his shoulder, nice and hard, and no doubt would leave a hell of a bruise on the General. It had his grip on his weapon loosening for a moment, in reaction to the pain, he almost dropped his weapon. Gritting his teeth the blond was not about to lose to order.

"Will you children kindly stop hitting my generator. I really do not want to spend the time, and energy, dealing with you all." Though even as he said it he swung out towards Whisler with his staff...but he was too far to strike him with the blade. Instead it pointed at him as he let out a blast of energy...an icy arrow shot out towards Whisler. "I learned a new trick recently...I do hope you enjoy it." He watched as his generator failed, with so many senshi and knights around it was inevitable. "And you, I should have dealt with you sooner. Just as lacking as that other former officer." Shaking his head.

Already he was reaching for his communications unit. "We've fallen, too many order here. I'll be moving out to help and lend support to another team." Wonderful, these children had brought down his generator. He'd make sure another didn't fail. "Arseno, let's go. We have to keep the others from falling." He couldn't teleport, like he wished he could, but he could certainly make his way past these brats and get to where he was needed.

There had been too many, so when the generator did explode Arseno didn't even blink. He did notice that it had possibly hurt those that had surrounded it. But there was no time to wish that something different had happened. He and Beni were too vulnerable at this point.

Beni gave the command to move and he nodded to his superior. "There are too many here." For a moment he wondered if they really shouldn't be helping the Super get out of the way of so many Order. But even though he was a General, he still considered Benitoite to be his superior and that meant leaving to protect another generator.

He didn't make any faces at the Order, his mask prevented them from seeing his face anyway. Instead he made sure to swipe in the air one last time to make sure none of them got close to him and then started to move North. There was something beyond all of this that made him suspicious, and he wondered if the aliens were only pretending to be on their side, no matter what sort of agreement they may have had.
