"Sure...I'll be here." Kisuke then put his head back down his eyes glossing over the scroll as he sat there reading. Most of it seemed like the basic's to ninjutsu; something he already knew about. But he was hoping to find more delicate information among the dusty scrolls. Pushing aside the first scroll Kisuke reached out grabbing another one. He unrolled it and spread it out as he glanced over it. Ah now this one seemed to hold more promise; it was specifically talking about nature transformation. Something students wouldn't necessarily learn directly at the academy, but more so with a teacher or team leader. As he continued with this scroll there were several references to what seemed like old bloodlines and legacies. There even was fair mention of his bloodline, nothing that gave away his secrets but he did recognize the descriptions that were made. But then there was something that caught his eye. A sizeable section of a clan who's entire bloodline was naturally Blind, but yet could still see just as much as the next person. "Kenzen'na Kokei, the clan from the city hidden in the darkness." There was much more information about this clan than his own. Reading further Kisuke thought to himself how that would even be possible. To make such precise moves while being blind at the same time. A shake of his head came as he felt himself feeling down. Why did he always feel like this? Didn't matter his mother always seemed different around him sometimes. Rolling the scroll up he wondered for a moment as he sat there. His hands coming up to rest on his chin as he just sat and thought.

Kaito hummed as he returned to the academy after working on his missions and practicing in the dojo. He wanted to show Kisuke his new whip techniques if the other man was interested.
He found Kisuke in much the same spot as before. "Did you get done what you needed to in the academy?" His tone was cheerful, hoping Kisuke had something cool to show him.
Crimson red hair shielded most of her face as Suzuki walked into the training area of the Academy. Her one visible eye locked onto the scroll in her hands as she read her notes on the jutsu she wished to learn. Though she did not need to be at the Academy, having graduated already, she came here to train often since her daughter had decided to join the Academy as well. Against her mother's wishes. While she was out of the village. Ridding herself of the thought with a slight shake of her head Suzuki looked back at the scroll. She stopped walking in front of straw stuffed dummy that she could use to practice with. She wouldn't need it right off the bat as she glanced through the few jutsu that didn't require coming into contact with an enemy, but rather effected herself. The first on the list was a well known jutsu that could dispel a genjutsu on a person. Suzuki placed the scroll on the ground where she could still read it. Holding up her hands she folded her fingers into one simple sign. She then poured her chakra through herself as if to break a genjutsu. The feeling of the chakra disappeared almost as soon as she had activated it. She released the jutsu, happy that she understood it and looked down at the scroll at her feet for the next one. Looking at what was next, Suzuki saw that it was under her list of katon related jutsu. There was only one jutsu she wanted to review right now, so she had no fears of condemning the straw dummy to an early demise. As she memorized the hand seals necessary Suzuki took a few steps backwards, until she was about five feet away from the dummy. This way she could see how the jutsu worked and hopefully let the dummy live until she got all her training done for the day. Taking a deep breath, while making the seals, Suzuki breathed out towards the dummy. A fan shaped flame erupted from Suzuki's mouth, aimed in the direction of the dummy. The flames licked at the dummy, but as soon as the flames died away Suzuki could see that the dummy was hardly singed from the jutsu. She placed a hand on her hip with a tilt of her head as well. It wasn't the strongest jutsu, but perhaps there could be a fear factor involved with it. She walked back to her notes and looked at what was next on her to do list. Next up was one of the raiton jutsu she had thought looked interesting. Heki no jutsu, the Burst technique. While she could see the offensive and defensive potential of this jutsu if she had been being truly honest to someone she'd admit she only wanted to have fun with this jutsu. She stepped up to the slightly singed dummy now while performing her hand seals. Immediately afterwards she placed a hand gently on the dummy. A split second later white hot lightning burst from Suzuki as her chakra all but exploded outwards. It lasted only a moment before Suzuki ended the jutsu and took her hand away from the dummy. This time there was definite damage to the dummy. There were scorch marks and smoldering bits of straw littered about the dummy's body. And not just the dummy was effected. Suzuki's own hair was standing on end a bit from the static electricity. "Well that worked." She muttered while smoothing out her hair back to its usual fluffy state. To take a look at the fourth jutsu Suzuki knelt down to the ground and shifted the scroll a bit to see her notes. This one was a second raiton technique, but it was more unique than a simple burst of energy. This one actually allowed a person to become lightning. It was a technique meant to dodge, meant to get around an opponent quickly and attack at another angel. It had some side effects, which Suzuki had also written down, but she felt like she could handle them for the short time that's mentioned. Stepping away from the dummy, about fifteen feet, Suzuki went through the hand seals one by one. It was a strange feeling as her body literally turned into pure energy. She flew through the air with a roll of thunder in a straight shot right at the training dummy. Just as Suzuki, the bolt of lightning, hit the jutsu ended in a bright flash sending the woman right into the dummy. Both the dummy and Suzuki were flat on the ground from the impact. "Owowow..." Literally lasting only a few seconds, it explodes out of the mouth in a v-like wave and is a commonly used technique among shinobi who like to build into their attacks. The range of this flame, however, is about three [3] meters and the flame itself isn’t held long enough to deal any real damage. Kai [ Release ] Rank: X (Learned as D-ranked) Official Description: Kai is a Ninjutsu technique that is typically used to break the effects of a Genjutsu on either themselves or another shinobi. After forming the needed hand seal, the Genjutsu technique loses its hold on the shinobi. An ally can form the hand seal and physically touch the afflicted to break the technique. Kai essentially halt, for a brief moment, chakra running through the body, cancelling out foreign chakra within. As such, the technique can also be used to break techniques affecting the chakra directly, such as buffs and debuffs, and temporary physical alterations, such as chakra-based paralysis, assuming they have the ability to make the hand seal. Selina was stunned by the fact that the guards in the academy libraries allowed her to pass by. She didn't even need to tell them that she was a chuunin, and they just allowed her wherever she wanted. It was odd coming back to the academy after she has been away for so long. The majority of her ninja training was leftover from when she was back in Kumo. However, if she was going to find where Kenshin and Ada were, she was going to have to practice some new ninjutsu!
Before she went to sensory, however, she decided to train up in other ninjutsu. Korabo was one thing she read up one, as well as re-train in all of the sealing arts she knew. It was a tiring process to re-train in these sealing styles, but she knew it would help her excel in her ninja career. Finally, she also picked up the Amplification Summoning Technique. These techniques were sure to help her in the future.
Selina next learned the Barrier Sealing method. She followed this up with beast sealing method, which she liked since it reminded her of her own custom sealing jutsu. Selina next learned The Third Seal Sealing, Infuuin • Kai, and Iruka's Barrier Technique. Selina silently wondered who Iruka was, but she decided that it wasn't necessary at this point. Finally, she decided to learn some bloodline techniques. She learned Phantom of Flowers and World of Flowers. Now that she got those techniques out of the way, she was ready to learn the sensory techniques.
Selina took her time researching sensory techniques. She learned the techniques Dragon Tattoo, Whispering Wall, Door Guard, Almighty Door guard, Creeping Silhouettes, Gray Fog, Kaguya's Mind Eye, Dome Method Formation, and of course, Mind power. It was fascinating to Selina how strong her mental abilities were. She read these techniques and learned them instantly. She knew these powers would serve her.
Selina was ready to use chakra to track down Kenshin and Ada when a thought hit her. The last time Kenshin saw her, she was not even a genin. Now she was a chuunin, and reinstated into the APD. Kenshin would undoubtedly have higher expectations of her now that she was in this power range. Which of course meant that she was going to have to perform the required training in order to make him proud! Therefore, she left the academy to go to the dojo. As much as she disliked it, she had some muscles to flex.

His mind raced with thoughts from his childhood, his mother always seemed to care for him, but something about her always caused him great pain. Things he saw; he wasn't sure but he knew she was the cause of it. Horrific images almost daily or when she felt she needed to be entertained. Quickly shaking his thoughts he peered down back at the scroll he was reading, it made mentions of other famous clans such as Uchiha, Hyuuga; but something caught his eye and he wanted to continue; something about medical ninjutsu but a sudden sound that was directed at him cause him to look up through snow white hair.
"Kaito...." He paused and looked back down at the scroll and just rolled it back up. "Yes for now." He said slowly taking the scroll and sliding it into the long cloak of his. "Just borrowing it for now." He said looking at Kaito his face stoic and deadpan as he looked at the boy. "So what now then?" Kisuke said standing up as he pushed the chair out as he stood, towering over the boy Kisuke stared at him. His attention then went towards the two new people that entered into the area, they seemed interesting but nothing he needed to get involved with at the moment. "So why did you become a Ninja?" He asked walking around the table heading towards the door, but meeting with Kaito as he offered him to go forward first.

Kaito furrowed his brows at Kisuke pocketing the scroll. It kept others from using it. He opened his mouth to object, but Kisuke asked him about why he became a ninja. "Ah, well. My mom has lived in this village for a while and always raised me to be kind to others and protect them if I could. Since I come from two bloodlines, I already had a significant capacity for jutsu, so I decided to become a ninja to protect others." He shrugged, thinking it to be a regular reason for joining the academy.
"Hey, did you wanna try this restaurant? It's specialty is fish but you could order something else if that isn't your thing. I trained a lot of martial arts so I'm kind of starving. Oh, I met this dude named Karuto who knew like a crazy amount of martial arts - you could tell because he was super buff but he said he wasn't really a ninja, that he just did it for girls. I mean, if it works, it works, I guess. He looked like he could lift up the academy itself, it was awesome!" Kaito's motormouth continued as he lead Kisuke out of the academy to the restaurant.

So the kids mom was a big factor in his life, how wonderful. it just brought Kisuke back to the thoughts he was having before Kaito showed up. Particularly his birthday where his mother always treated him 'special' on that day. Even though Kaito had asked about the tattoo's from before he didn't tell kaito that his mother forced him to get them at a young age. The pain was hard; but he remembered his mother doing something to him afterwards to make him pass out. Then the kid began to speak about how he had met someone else and went to train with him. 'Karuto' Kisuke said the name a couple of times in his head to get it down. If he was as strong as kaito exclaimed he'd have to be watched out for. "Yeah let's go....oh wait..." Kisuke then began to pat his cloak and around his waist. "I don't have any money." It was true, and for someone trying to play off a traveling salesmen it wasn't great to not have even a little bit of money. "Sorry Kaito." He sighed, he was genuinely upset, he was hunger; and as much as Kaito talked he was sure he'd give him more information.

__ As he walked to the academy, Kenshin's tenseigan was able to find Selina, Kojiro, and Ada. He then allowed his tenseigan to revert until he was at his base eyes. They were to be the first people that he would tell of his experience. At least he was certain that they would believe him or at least trust him. For now, he wanted to refine his ninjutsu prowess. He sat down and unraveled a scroll in a private study room. He read over the various lightning techniques and understood them. He was only really proficient in chidori. Kenshin reviewed the lower ranked techniques until he was certain he could use them. [1] The Sannin then read some more of his preferred element. He needed more lightning in his arsenal for him to use in sage mode. He read over each technique and the methods of deployment in great detail. Eventually, he learned this batch as well. [2] Kenshin read the next round closely as well. They were picking up in rank and difficulty. The technique pertaining to loosening the bowels and forcing opponents to defecate was clearly disgusting and beneath him, so he avoided it. Kenshin then mastered that round of techniques. [3] Kenshin would now finish reading for today. He read through the most powerful raiton techniques that he could access. Eventually, he opened a wind scroll and learned one powerful and useful technique from there. Before long, Kenshin finished his ninjutsu studies. [4] Kenshin then body flickered out of the area and toward the next area.

If an opponent is stabbed, the blade will leave several needles inside of the opponent. It also never runs out of string either, with one at the base of the weapon, and one attached to each needle. She lurked in shadow and had the smell of someone nearby, familiar was this scent yet at the same time it was different. A wolf broke out from the nearby scenery, large and muscular the creature was yet held a few traits that made her stood out from just a feral creature. One blue eye and one amber looked upon the red haired woman who went through the training process of chakra, head tilted as she piqued interest, the arashi headband around the wolf's neck now dangled and she sat with a whine. Toso had fled to the Academy, anything to get his mind off his title. He would be in a disclosed room separate from others, that 'room' being inside Isekai-junsei. He would scour the bookcases with his glasses before calmly settling himself down with an exhale trying to come to terms with a 'why was he here'. "The enemy uses Genjutsu. It would be in my best interest I would suppose then to take a refresher course bloop." He would select essentially a compendium within the annals of Genjutsu and begin to review them. Once upon a time, he considered dabbling in Genjutsu. Powerful Illusions and compulsions...but in the end he had come to the following conclusions. Illusions. Are not real...and forcing others to do things went against his beliefs in regards to his beliefs about free will and freedom as a whole. Still to dabble in it, he wasn't that above Genjutsu that he didn't find that using them for the occasional chortle or emergency situation. Among compulsions, those he could use to prevent disasters as oppose to encouraging them stood out the most. In short among the Genjutsu he found the ones he favored most were the ones that would grant opportunities or were playful in nature. Aside from that. Ones that would end combative behaviors altogether.

A knot formed in Toso's stomach. These were the techniques that this Kagami person used frequently. To think she could make these techniques more potent than they actually were? Reading over some of the strongest abilities Toso gained an even deeper understanding of how the man at the gates was manipulated. Compulsory Genjutsu of such levels, Illusory Genjutsu designed to cause traumatic experiences that would ruin a person. Toso would make note of these techniques so that he, in turn, could be ready for them should they come his way and perhaps he could use them for more fitting uses. That said he'd place this mirrored 'scroll' replica back and reproduce the Dojo within the ever expansive white canvas dimension of Isekai-Junsei. His fight with Belamos. It revealed he had left his physical body too complacent. Yet, Toso knew his mind was sharper than it had ever been. Or so he at least liked to believe. Techniques and styles which would capitalize on the Strngth of his Mind as oppose to his body solely. Yes...these would do.
Toso would begin his intense physical session by first practicing the fundamentals, then the stances, he would then take this knowledge and refine them further. He would perform a mixed bag among the styles. Hsing-I Pakua, Xinyi Liuhe Quan both which would remind him of his life on Edaishima. It wasn't known to many but Toso's native language on the island was not Japanese. Japanese was only learned to benefit the trade. Indeed the native tongue on everyone on that island was Chinese, their dialect leaning towards Xiang. But several years in Japanese speaking lands and the dialect was slowly lost. Only lingering in the older members. The same could be said for the Shimizu and their typically Japanese dialects and of course, there was the coldblooded dunderheads with their almost slavic accents. He would begin his transition into Xinyi Liuhe Quan...but rather than actually physically mime the techniques he would take a seat. He certainly had let himself go. Truthfully he was more a visual learner and reading and writing type of learner than kinesthetic or auditory. He much preferred books and well diagrams and artforms. This was no surprise as after all he was an artist at his core. Mind and body together in great harmony. This was the styles tag line. On he enjoyed reading. He would reproduce a velvet chair and sit down while he manifested a bubble pipe.
However the more he read the more he realized how frightening the style seemed to be. Cry of the tiger seemed rather tame but when it built into a muffled voice a visceral image replayed in his head...ah...that's right. This was the style of Taijutsu had used against that individual during the attack on his home village. Toso fully realized how such a combination was capable of killing a man outright. Even if one were to survive it was unbelievable wracking for a body. Backing..was an odd name for a skill but an enlightening concept. It was not that different from the concepts of the Rasengan but on a much smaller scale. While he himself never found interest in those techniques...this one could prove to be rather useful. Finally, Heavenly Riches. It was always a style which had caught his eye in that it concentrated primarily on the limbs. Having understood the concepts of the others so easily he figured this would not be so difficult. He was wrong. Toso would have to for the most part actually have to try and mime the techniques and use them in their weakest states to even begin to fathom their use. However, once he developed the 'muscle memory' of it, it would all begin to piece together. If he could combine these hand movements with Kakusokudo..he wondered. He hadn't performed any CQC or hand to hand combat in a dog's age. Such was the price of peace. Those five years he had focussed on his career as a chef, a businessman, and only occasionally a shinobi.
Perhaps. He wondered as he flicked his wrist and looked at the pale expanse. Perhaps it was time he did do something about that. Whether he liked it or not, whether he tried avoiding or not by sweating one out in his private dimension...he was Kage. A village leader. A man whose accolades were few in the shinobi world but many in the economic and culinary world. Perhaps this is why the Twin kage decided to choose him...one more practice round of forming an opened palm strike and the chakra from it launched forward into the nothingness... With that having been said Toso thusly decided to brush up on techniques of which he thought forgotten. The techniques in question belonging to Hashi No Heisei...ah wait. Odd. It seemed the style was now using another name but looking at descriptions it seemed to have been refined. Someone, or something decided to aptly train these techniques...that meant...YES! HE WAS NOT THE ONLY PERSON WHO USED UNCONVENTIONAL FIGHTING ARTS! This warmed the squids soul as he began to review and sharpen his skills in the art of Tranquil Cedar. Then finally he would refine his other more basic martial skills. This was it. Tucked away within the library of the academy, Takashi sat alone, his eyes fixated on the scroll that lie before him. Certainly a rare sight, the young blonde was not really one for reading and normally would have wanted to do anything else. Today though, he was making an expection. With a big trip to Kirobuki on the horizon, he figured it would be a good idea to pick up some techniques that might help with his journey.

(x3)】 【Learning: Tsuchi Gunjikoudou no Jutsu; Doton: Shunshin no Jutsu; Jihibiki Kansei no Jutsu; Moguragakure no Jutsu】 Turning his attention to the section on Doton techniques, Takashi started simple and studied Tsuchi Gunjikoudou no Jutsu. It may have been an introductory technique, but he saw great potential in being able to move freely through the earth. (Plus, it also sounded like a lot of fun.) Moving on to the next level, he read up on the Doton version of Shunshin no Jutsu, thinking it might come in handy in a pinch if things got dicey in the mines. Finally, he set his sights on some of the more advanced techniques for someone at his rank, beginning first with Jihibiki Kansei no Jutsu. It would definitely be useful to be able to sense any disturbances in the earth while at work. 【Learning: Bounetsu no Jutsu; Tanebi no Jutsu; Nenshou Ha: Ichi】 Once Takashi was done with the Doton section, he decided to look into some Katon techniques. This was more out of curiosity than necessity and figured if he was already forcing himself to read, he might as well get all he could out of it. Like before, he started with the most basic of techniques, namely Tanebi no Jutsu. While not very powerful, being able to create a spark of fire by snapping your fingers definitely seemed like it would come in handy. Bounetsu no Jutsu also happened to catch his eye and now that he thought about it, all his time standing around the forge had definitely made him more resistant to its intense heat. As for the more advanced techniques, the only one that sparked his interest was Housenka no Jutsu. It definitely seemed like it was designed with battles in mind but his main takeaway was that being able to spit fire would definitely help him maintain the flames of his forge. 【Learning: Bounetsu no Jutsu; Tanebi no Jutsu; Housenka no Jutsu】✔
Feeling he had learned all he needed, Takashi returned the scrolls he'd been using and exited the academy. He then decided to make his way back to his family's workshop, as he knew there was work to be done. { Exit }
__ Kenshin arrived at the academy first and sought to quickly learn some more techniques from the wind release. On his walk from the CORE Compound to the academy he felt a rare sense of relief and happiness in the eye of the storm that was the current state of affairs. "Thank God she'll be with me." Kenshin thought in reference to Ada not only for the battle ahead but also her leaving her post in the imperial city to work beside him. He worried that her duties would force her to leave him again but now he was secure in that not happening anymore. He would go to the dojo after this to learn more of the physical arts. Kenshin realized how much he needed to prepare for the Kogarashi battle ahead. He grabbed the appropriate scroll from a shelf and sat down to study.
Kenshin read over a handful of wind techniques. These were easy to understand and were unlikely to require practice on his part as he was quite proficient in ninjutsu by now. He needed a wider variety of techniques to choose from rank by rank. He spread his focus between the various ranks for what seemed useful. Eventually, he was finished with learning and would close the scroll, return it, and leave.

Nuibari Attributes • Infinite Needles | While Nuibari functions perfectly fine as a long, thin blade that sits between a Jian and a Foil. It's comprised of infinite, instantly replenishing needles. If an opponent is stabbed, the blade will leave several needles inside of the opponent. It also never runs out of string either, with one at the base of the weapon, and one attached to each needle. Similarly, unhindered, the weapon always comes back when thrown for the techniques below, and can be pulled to the user free of activation via its wire so long as the nigh-invisible string is not cut. • Thread the Needle | This skill increases the speed of the wielder moderately while Nuibari is wielded.

{Entry} Oh how Unki was ready to learn again. Her arrival to the academy was one most necessary in the face of the battle to come. Who was here, she thought while resisting the urge to run with a shrimp bowl in her hands. What was first? Simple. Unki walked around a little bit before she managed to locate the wind scrolls. She set the bowl down and put her vest back on for familiarity. The wind scroll was plucked from the shelving and carried a ways out with her to a space to study and practice. Slashing and bursting and jet streams were familiar enough that she knew the what the points of focus were. Lots of breathing excersizses felt like a good thing to dive into and useful for expanded lungs. So Unki sat down and held her hands together, as if to meditate, and began to breathe with all the visulzations of things she'd like to learn. Unki thought of her fan during her breathing. Soon she would have the neatest little 12-inch war-fan and it can be decorated with prints and tassels to her hearts content. She was already the owner of a fan, not a war fan exactly, but it was left behind in the Capital. Silk fans and paper fans are pretty for fanning faces on hot days and just being plain cute. She wouldn't subject one of her decorated paper fans to a fortified fanning of energy. Cutting things up with anything but a war fan didn't sound appropriate. Her meditation came to a close. Unki's head felt 2% lighter and her attention on what she wanted to learn was set out for her as if a list on paper. Chopping opposing attacks in two, leaping with the wind, and unleashing little flurries of angry wind were in review. Leaping with wind was the easiest to practice with the first step to focus all the energy in her hand and burst said energy into the two forces to carry her back. At her level the art of bursting air should be easy. Being airborne was semi-familiar and landing was just the same as being in the air. Weird! Then reviewing all the steps in action left Unki feeling even more off!. But breezy techniques like the second version of Daitoppa, oh yeah, Unki had that handled with a great huff and a great puff. tabWind carries the elements that make up the air we breathe. Oxygen is prevalent and its that element that breathes life into the second element Unki has come to be familiar with. Fire is dangerous however thought to be an essence of life. Heat and warmth keeps many living creatures alive on the planet when paired with plain ol' air. Yeah, there are other elements worth mentioning but Unki wasn't going to lollygag and wish for water to fall out of her mouth like a fancy fountain. She had a hot, burning touch that could make sparks if she wanted. The heat in her core could even come out and heat others if she wanted. Unki's touch even had this way with smoldering flowers, at least, that's what she learned with the review of a fire scroll. A potted plant sitting in a window was her unfortunate subject for learning that trick. Someone's begonias were be-gone-nias. There hadn't been any sounds indicating any spills. The bowl wasn't knocked over by the tails of Unki's winds or thus far subjected to the heat of Unki's sparks and flares. Good, she thought, and continues her review of the fire scroll and draws her sword. Flame Slash has the capabilities to allow her sword to embrace fire versus putting the coin down to convert her sword with an expensive crafting method. Unki prefers her sword the way it was. She devoted herself briefly to attempting to heat her sword and familiarize herself with another means to sling fire around. Her hands were still important tools themselves. Further training reveals that through the proper focus in her hands could rocket a volley of small, fist-sized fireballs with sizable reach. Both resources were viable on the field of battle and hopefully use will come to Unki at some point in her career. But all knowledge can play out to be good. Her dive deeper into the scroll revealed knowledge on a higher level. Unki thought herself fully capable to learn and even more capable to use the heavier techniques. Ideally, she thought herself able to take the heat. Not many sparks are capable of spooking Unki of all people. "Catastrophic might", as she read, is more than plenty to persude her to move the Shrimp bowl a little further away for good measure. The hand signs of these bigger techniques seem to start off as familiar patterns before they steer into slightly more complicated patterns to keep with. Such would require practice and practice was one thing Unki wasn't going to skip on. Unki ultimately lost track of the time after getting so ingrained with studying sign work. Amazing power deserves dedication and diligence to perfect. From the greatest fireball shower the scroll has to offer to a technique that should get her enemies attention with a hot pursuit of fire on their tail. The woman was nearing her limitations and she couldn't solely put her attention on learning the art of throwing fire around. Unki would carefully reroll the elemental scroll and return it to the shelf. In exchange for fire, Unki borrows the neutral elemental scroll to study from. Just as with the other elements, there were enough "holes" in her know-how that even the so-called "basics" needed brushing up on. She felt late on the grounds of learning the ordinary shadow clone technique. Having fancy clones on a timer before they pretty much pop into hot air was limiting in a sense. Scorch clones were tricky when she may need to assist others. Why, even the know-how to effectively assist others by the wild method of combining attacks was one she wasn't familiar with. What could she do with someone like Toso? Heat and ink didn't go well together at first thought. A combination of something with Shion? Sure! With Shiro? Well, if Shiro put all his eggs-techniques- in a flaming basket then maybe. But beyond just collaboration work, Unki reviews a new sword trick that didn't include fire and still supposedly does a number to her opponent. Not that she would try the sword trick on the shrimp but if Unki caught herself thinking about what happened in the resturant, then she'd be a little less forgiving to try something. There was the Astral Projection technqiue that sounded absolutely useful for such time as now, if anything. What better way to throw a message around to someone Unki may need to talk to? Besides, the thought of appearing as some sort of hazy image without any non-genjutsu plain was exciting to know about. She could see her Shiro whenever. For now, however, Unki chose to re-roll the maruton scroll and re-shelve it. She figured it was time to place her attention on something other than typical ninjutsu. In time, still, she would return to ninjutsu for review of her own abilities but the art of illusions were expressing their interest. Why study the same old stuff? Same ol' same ol' gets boring after a while. A technique that held her interest the most was one once used on her, years ago, by Toso. In their first fight Toso made use of a considerably spooky technique that knocked her attention down a peg, at the least. The Hidden Assassin technique began, as she remembers, when the user suddenly vanishes in smoke to ultimately lead the target into a false fear that they were just stabbed! In the appropriate circumstances there was no reason how this illusion could knock a cocky opponent down a peg. It was about this time a winded looking so-and-so was running into the room. Unki? Amano Unki? That's you right? I recognize you. The tried so-and-so was an employee of the weapons and armor shop. It surprised Unki that someone was actually sent to find her. Maybe she was right to say something about going to "brush up on the flashy wind tricks". The courier bows before her, catching their breath, and offers her a small, narrow box. "Thank you very much for contacting us for your weapons needs. Your war fan came out well. We just finished tying on the tassels." Unki gasps, "Oh wow! I'm stoked. I was gonna' come check on it soon. Thank you! I appreciate it!" The plum tuckered courier sighed with relief and turned away. This worker-bee was seemed so ready to go back to the shop.
Oh well. Unki opens the fan box and just felt like waving it around like it was the coolest thing in the world. Why she never invested in a war fan before was beyond her.

Uchiha Sosuke ⌠ It's just the way of it, son. We all sell our souls sooner or later. ⌡ ╫ Katon ≈ Fuuton ╫ Bored ╫
Sosuke led Kisuke from the dojo and the pair ended I'm the academy, where Sosuke whistled a tune. The quieted air of the village just seemed to unnerve the Uchiha, but nonetheless, he pressed forward and began to practice some of his family techniques first. Were there a battle to come, he aimed to be prepared for it. He drew his thumb to his mouth and bit down on the fingertip, then pressed the bloodied flesh into his forearm and drew a small array. As the blood dried, the archaic markings remained on his flesh and Sosuke hovered a hand over top of it, activating the seal once to store several shuriken, then a second time to remove them. As he removed them, he threw them and used guided chakra wires to set them into a board over his head.
"Perfection, one of many useful tricks down." The man chuckled.
Grey eyes stared ahead with an intense focus as he tried to figure out the visual prowess of his lineage, to no avail, yet instead as he did so a singular chakra arm rose from the ground, an escutcheon with the Uchiha family fan emblazoned upon it sat centered on the arm in the brief moments before it faded. Behind the arm, Sosuke sat in shock for the briefest of moments and gathered chakra in hand. As the shielded arm faded he let his breath pass through the tips of his fingers to spark a great flame which roared and spiraled like the magatama his father said was a treasure of his clan.
As the flames faded Sosuke looked up to the shuriken in the beam overhead and pulled on the wires that bound them. As they fell he turned his hand towards them and gathered flames once more, cast upon them. As the shuriken flew the flames danced with them and did not sever the chakra connections, but instead seemed to empower their flight. With a sigh, Sosuke pulled down and let the shuriken land in the dirt before he moved to collect them.
"Real magical, eh? That's trick about magic, though, is that any grand old c**t can do it." He murmured as he started back towards Kiketsu.

Sosuke then pulled the shuriken back to his hand and stared them over for a moment. Grey eyes focused on the objects and he inscribed a temporary addition to the Uchiha Lightning seal to test the expanse of his abilities. The seal spread and a white mist seeped forth to envelop the shuriken before they disappeared from sight into the seal. The Uchiha nodded to himself as he inspected the seal for a few moments, then touched it once more.
After the sealing mists passed the genin stared at the array for a few moments more before he reached down to touch it once more. His fingertips searched the inscription, they felt each line and graced each edge of his array. The incantation behind it was perfect, his only issue with the entire process was the bind. He traced the flecks of blood once more before he recalled the shuriken and broke the new inscription to revert it back to the Lightning seal. Restoring the shuriken within, the man mused for a few minutes at the entirety of the sealing process, unaware of the danger that lurked just in the Kage's tower.
"Such a waste of potential. I wonder if there's a better way to make these... I don't know, mobile? For lack of a better word. Treated scrolls and long inscriptions into immobile places seem costly... and dangerous, what would the cost be of something more stable and unseen?" He continued to question as he poured over the inscriptions and the arrays of summoning jutsu that oft accompanied them.
As he pursued deeper meaning, he found a technique that caught his interest as well. A Time Seal, to delay other Fuuinjutsu and etched it into his reservoir of knowledge.

For awhile, it was hard for Nozomi to accept that her mother had lied to her all those years but it explained so much. Her parents were good keeping secrets away from their own daughter that was for sure. Sadly, despite all that, many children would feel anger, not her. She feels sorrow. She misses her family and Kumotake, if they were to come back, none of this would matter. Nozomi wasn't usually the one to hold grudges.
It took her awhile but she finally found someone that could help her accept her new bloodline, explaining the history of it and as well show her few techniques from it. Luckily, they had scrolls and she was forever grateful for it. Nozomi was a bit scared to start a new; basically she has to refresh. Genjutsu would forever hold a place in her heart but it was no longer part of her anymore just like her bugs. She was no longer an Aburame.
The teacher warned her that some, she would just have to read because they did not have a demon host in their village. Nozomi rose her eyebrow. Either that was a lie to protect the demon host or it was true. It doesn't matter to her anyways. He handed her some of the scrolls and she started to read and understood what the teacher meant. Some of the techniques, she would just have to memorized by heart. The first one was called Akuma Fuuin, it was a very important seal for herself if she was to become a demon host, hopefully not but if she had no choice. Or to help a demon host to maintain control as a slight frowned appear on her face. Who wants that kind of burden? It was heartbreaking almost. Shaking the thought out of her mind, she continued to read more about the demon sealing. Not much more to explain it besides the fact that it was to help jinchuuriki and make their lives easier.
[ Akuma Fuuin [ Demonic Seal ] Learned! ]
The next one, at least she could practice it. She read it over for a bit to make sure she understood how it works. It was chains, from her own body. If they capture a target's limb, she was able to take away their life energy. Whoa. Okay that was a bit intense.. Hmm. It could work much better. Nozomi started to wonder if she knew all this before would anything change? Would her family be alive? Kumotake...? With a deep sigh, she had to stop doing that. What happened to them was not her fault. The chain can be controlled by her. With that in mind, she got up and did the handseals and focused on her forearm. Sure enough, a chain appeared as she grasped it, the shackles dangling at the end. She spun it for a bit, took her left foot back and slightly crouched as if she was defensive. Part of her wonders if she can use the chains as defense as well against weapons. Such as incoming downward sword attack. She would have to ask the teacher who already left her alone to learn or find another Uzumaki. She was told there was few in the village, Nozomi just hasn't found them yet.
Nozomi glanced at the next one, the Kumono Fuuin: Hōki. Okay. Whoa. This could be better if she couldn't do the chains from her body. At least, with this one, she can simply use it with a bit of long distance to protect her own body more. The young red haired does her best to remember the seals as she clasped her hand together, slide her palm onto the ground and in no time at all, a large group of chakra chains just appeared at the ground and launched towards nothing. With a smile, she called off the jutsu and the chains disappeared. That was going to be very handy for later on. She wanted to learn more but Nozomi understood she was not strong enough yet.
With a soft sigh, she wished she still has her mother to talk with her about this. Part of her wonder if this was why her bugs were strong. Was it because she had a strong life energy? After staring at the Uzumaki scrolls for a bit, she rolled them up and put them away and went looking for the Fuuinjutsu ones. Fuuinjutsu was apparently important for Uzumaki. One thing for sure, she should learn the basics. The first one was easy. She found a spare scroll in the area as she grabbed it and unrolled it, using a used ink and quill as she wrote down the item that was next to the scroll, a glass. In no time at all, the glass went into the seal. With a soft smile, she actives the seal and the glass appeared back, but this time, it appeared on the seal. Picked up the glass for a moment as she seems just to be looking at it. Why did she never realize she was an Uzumaki? So many signs were there, was she just blind?
[ Fūnyū no Jutsu [ Enclosing Technique ] & Kaifū no Jutsu [ Unsealing Technique ] Learned! ]
The next one was just as important to learn. The Korabo Kuchiyose no Jutsu. Did Kageoru mentioned this one? If it was the one Kageoru was talking about, Nozomi made sure to learn it. Her friend was much stronger than her and Nozomi was honestly a little bit bummed, but proud. Yes, Nozomi did die but she was a human being, she feels a bit of jealously. Glanced around, she decide to put one of the scrolls somewhere and place a bug by it. With that, she walked across the room and attempted to summon it using a seal. The bug was summoned as it didn't seem to be effected. Scooped the cricket from her hand, she opened the door and let the little cricket out.
This next one, Nozomi had to pause. Was this one really important? Basically it was just sealing but when she uses it, she can put down time of when it will activate. Can it actually be handy? She had to think about it and as well think of different scenarios that could happen. Yes. This jutsu could be extremely handy. Not wanting to miss out, she started to read about it. With the kanji in her mind along with the addition of the time kanji, she sealed the glass back into a kanji and picked a time. Made sure to activate it, Nozomi waited. Few minutes later, the glass reappeared again. That was done.
[ Tebanasu Fuuin [ Time Sealing ] Learned! ]
Ah, Fuuin Tsunagu. That one could be a lot of fun. With a soft smile, she started to read how it works. She needed to use Fuuin Tsunagu and made sure to add a little extra to connect the seals. It seems that the second will activate when she actives the first. Nozomi started to wonder if she activates the first and made sure to put a time seal on the second when the first was activated, would it work? It could be something for her to experience at a later time, right now, she just wanted to active two seals. With that, she decided to use glasses and a pencil. Sealed them inside the kanji, she activated one, the glass appeared first but within seconds, the pencil appeared second. Alright. That'll do.
Decided to take a moment from the jutsu below it, she knew she needed to find two others that she had heard many shinobi had suggested. It was Kuchiyose no Jutsu and Gyaku Kuchiyose no Jutsu. They both were extremely important. Nozomi doesn't have much or really, anyone to work this technique on. So this was going to be one of the few jutsus that she would have to read over and over again until she was sure and confident that she memorized it by heart. First, they must make a contract by using their blood and sign their name and then they can keep it. The one that tries to do the summoning would have to pay for it and it made complete sense to her. It mentioned creatures as Nozomi started to wonder if she should try to become a sage. If yes, what kind of sage? Hmm. Nozomi pushed the thought aside for now as she will think about it later, now was not the right time to think about it, she had some work to do. The next one was reverse summoning. She tried to find a difference, it honestly took her a bit longer than she care to admit for her to find the difference. So this one was to have the one she wants to be summoned, summoned. Can even summon herself to a different location if she needed.
Nozomi happened to come across to Bodi Chouin no Jutsu and she knew as a medic, this would be very important for her to learn. Nozomi stuided the fuuin seal simply because it's not in her to ask someone to become unconscious so she could test this out, not exactly nice or a good idea at all. With that in mind, she just studied it until she became comfortable. Part of her wonders if Kageoru would've done this on the day she died if Kageoru wasn't strong enough. Thankfully she was, but ever since then, Nozomi wondered if she was meant to die or was she really meant to live?

There was no time to dwell what was or what could've been. She had work to do. Nozomi decided she wanted to learn at least few barriers or in other words, a defensive techniques. She continued to read and was able to find one. With her bloodline, she wonders if she can do this without tag. She decided to give it a try. She set up four chairs and a glass in the middle. The four chairs circulates her. Focusing as much as she can and thinking about the Gofuu Kekkai, she palmed each chair and then finally, the glass. The barrier appeared. So she can do this without the tags. It would make it so much easier. With that, she stopped feeding it chakra and it was gone just like that.

She decided to learn elements. She was glad she was able to still have Suiton, water always and has been her freedom. She figured she should go somewhere where there's water so these techniques would be easier for her to learn. Nozomi was going to try to remember them by memory. When she was an Aburame, she had Doton and Suiton but now she had Katon, Raiton, and Suiton. It was as if when she died, she rose up from the ashes with finding out she was born of Uzumaki mother and Aburame father. Nozomi headed over to the bathroom at the academy just to be sure to to have water around if she needed it.The first one, it was going to be messy so she made sure she was over the sink and turned on the hot water. With that, she did the necesarry hand seals and a tiny little black cloud formed over the sink and spilled oil into the sink. Maybe it's not bad she has Katon after all.
[ Kokuun no Jutsu [ Black Clouds Technique ] 1 / 11 Suiton ]
Nozomi nearly facepalmed herself. How did she forget to practice the basics first? With that, she closed the drain of the sink and filled it up. When it was almost full, Nozomi turned off the water and stuck her hand in the water to make sure it was cold. When satisfied, she removed her hand and did the handseals as the water started to boil. The boiling was helping getting the moisture up into the air. With that, she gathered the water from the moisture in the air and formed a softball size of water as she placed it back into the sink.
[ Mizu Soujuu [ Water Mainpulation ] NCTS ]
The next one was pretty simple.Course it might be hard, she would had to make sure she was able to shake someone's hand or touch them somehow. When she was an Aburame, she avoided close combat when she can. But now? It may be time for her to learn how to handle herself with close combat. Glanced towards her hand, she used her tongue instead of handseals as a thin of 'sweat' appeared at her fingertips and she was able to control it. This was a good technique if she wanted to blur someone for a bit to get out or do a stronger attack.
[ Mizu no Waruasobi [ Trick of Water ] NCTS ]
Nozomi's hands grasped the sink as she was trying to remember the next one. It was a shield... but what was the handsigns? Her eyelids closed as she had to think back when she lived in Kirigakure. A soft and sad smile was on her face when she can hear the waves crashing against the cliff. It was then, she remembered how to do it. With that, she glanced at the water in the sink and did the handseals. The water moved and formed around her as a barrier. She made sure she can control it as she made spikes and tentacles. Heck, she used the tentacles to help clean up the bathroom a little bit. Picked up some paper towels and replaced some toilet papers. Once she was satisified, she put the water back in the sink. Her honey eyes glanced at the floor. Few drops of water but not too bad of a mess.
[ Mizu Tate no Jutsu [ Water Shield Technique ] Learned! ] 2 / 11 Suiton
This next one was extremely important especially if she was going to fight out in the water or something. With a soft smile, she remembered how much she swam every single day at Kirigakure. She had to use this technique, but she made sure she was very careful. Before Sero had infected the waters, she didn't had to be as careful. But afterwards... the young lady had to be. There were things in the water that should not be there and she could've put herself in danger easily if she was not careful. Nozomi remembered the handseals easily, having to use it almost every day for few years. Since she had arrived Arashigakure, she haven't had time to look around for a body of water she could swim in. Instead, she was busy trying to get back into shinobi life and maybe avoiding Kageoru for a bit.
Alright. It was time for her to try the fog technique. It could be handy when sneaking around or neededing to give a target lower visual. Glanced around the bathroom, she did the handseals and a fog rolled right in at the bathroom. Everything was hard to see for a moment. She should do the Kiri Shikaku no Jutsu so she could see what's going on if she pulled this technique. With that, she did the other handseals and sure enough,s he was able to see easily to what's going on, it was as if the fog became see-through. Nozomi almost wanted to sit down on the floor and just soak in everything but she remembered she was at the bathroom. Who knows what's been going on in the bathroom. Going against it, instead of waiting for the fog to fade on it's own, she cut it off, the fog faded away as her vision returned to 'normal'.
[ Kirigakure no Jutsu [ Hidden Mist Technique ] & Kiri Shikaku no Jutsu [ Mist Vision Technique ] Learned! ] 5 / 11 Suiton
The next one she wanted to work on required her being outside. With that, she unplugged the sink and the water drains itself back into the pipes as she headed out. Once outside, she stretched for a bit underneath the sun. It was weird to be in a constant sunny place... this place was not like Kirigakure that was for sure. She dearly misses it. This was no time to be homesick. Nozomi did her handseals and water shot up from underground and left quite a bit of water. She could keep going but she didn't want to flood the area, she just wanted enough to work on few more techniques, so she stopped it.
Nozomi knew she wanted to learn this one again, and she was actually excited due to the sheer fact that she now had Raiton as part of her chakra element and this technique could be used. She missed her old whip she once had back at Kirigakure, she still doesn't know what happened to it. Probably buried under body of water somewhere. With a shake of her head, she did handseals and her hand gripped the whip as she played around with it for a bit before she was done. The water fell back onto the ground as the electric just went away.

Glanced at the ground there was another one she should learn. It took her a moment to remember what it was and she now finally does. Mizutamari no Jutsu and then she could learn the more advanced one. This had save her life more times than she care to count back at Kirigakure. Stepped above the water, she did the handseals and just seemed to 'melt' into the puddle. If anyone was to walk in, all they would see was just pretty thick water above the ground that was slowly seeping back into the ground so Nozomi knew she had to move a bit faster. With that, she emerged from the ground and used the waterfall basin technique to add more water in other locations so she could work on the transportation one. Once she was done, she did the handseals and once again melted into the water but this time, she moved to another puddle at different location. It was good she still remember how to do this.

There was one more she wanted to work on. Focused on the dummy that was outside, she did the handseals as a head emerged from the water and chomped but missed. She wanted it to miss on purpose. Sure enough, the tongue had extended, wrapped around the dummy and pulled it in as it snapped the pole and pulled the dummy underneath the water. There wasn't much water to begin with so it just laid there on top of the ground and being a bit wet.
[ Mizu Oni Kuike [ Water Demon's Appetite ] Learned! ] 9 / 11
She was done for the time being as she headed back inside and let nature take care of that extra water. She wanted to work on her new element, Katon. With that, she looked around for the scrolls and managed to find it. One of the first one that many people suggested for her to learn it was the Bounetsu no Jutsu, in other words, a jutsu that will help protect herself from increasing heat that could happen from techniques or maybe even from other people techniques. She read the hand seals over and over as she also read the information that it doesn't completely protect her but it really does make a difference. With that, she did the handseals and glanced at her own body. She felt the surged of chakra, but did it really work? Guess she could work on some of the techniques and find out in time.
The next one would be good for her to learn especially since she learned the one that rain down oil upon her targets. With that in mind, she smiled softly and then frowned. That much fire will cause a lot of destruction. She would have to make sure none of her allies are in harm's way. With a shake of her head, she made a mental reminder to make sure everyone was safe and out of the way. With that, she snapped her fingers and a spark appeared but nothing happened. It was because she made sure there wasn't anything that could ignitied it.
Reading more, Nozomi didn't have good understanding of Katon like she does for Suiton so she honestly doesn't know what can be really good so she would have to use her judgement for now and observe her allies as well enemies if they happen to have Katon. She had a feeling the same will go with Raiton. With that, she found a technique that could be handy. Especially if she knew anyone that had wind element. Decided that it was not safe to practice this inside, she grabbed some of the scrolls and headed outside. With that, she glanced up towards the sunny sky and frowned. For the first few days, the sunshine was nice but over time it was getting a bit annoying. With a shake of her head, at least she had her hood but she had to admit, it was a bit warm around her than it was in Kirigakure. She did the handseals and made sure it was just a small chakra spent so she can have a small gas. Thankfully, it wasn't windy so she had a good idea where it was. With that, she used the spark and it ignited before it ran out of fuel and disappeared. According to the scroll, this technique would be good to evaporate water as well.
[ Kita no Jutsu [ Aerial Explosion Technique ] Learned! ] 1 / 11 Katon
The next one was more of a stronger version than the one she had learned earlier. Reading on, she figured she should learn this one. With that, she glanced around and sighed. This time she would have to actually make a fire so she can know it works. But where? She didn't want to harm nature. That part hasn't change in Nozomi at all. Decided against of making a fire, she would just have to do hte handseals and feel her body and hope it worked. With that, she did it, felt the surge and she decided to keep giving chakra. It does feel like it's working. Once she stopped feeding the jutsu chakra, the surged feeling went away.
The next one for her to learn was Raiton. It was another unfamiliar territory for the young Uzumaki. With a soft sigh, she started to read up on the techniques. The first one, she wouldn't mind learning. Placed the scroll onto the table, she stood up as she read the handseals and did it one at a time without using her chakra. When she was comfortable enough, she did it more rapdily and used chakra, a clone appears. She apologized to it before attack it and sure enough, a shock went through her body. So it does work. Ouch.
The next one, Nozomi had to pause for a moment. Why didn't she read that one before she learned the clone? Oh well. What done was done. Her hand was still feeling the shock from earlier. With that, she ignored the tingling feeling as she started to learn the handseals for this next one. It went by without a hitch, just like the flame resistance. It's interesting how the more aggressive elements have resistance when others do not. Such as Suiton.
[ Electrical Resistance Training [ Teikou no Kuntou ] Learned! ] NCTS
The honey hued female caught her eye on something called Jibashiri. Oh. This was the perfect technique for her to learn, Suiton had always been her element and this combination with it was just right. She decided to take the scrolls and headed outside since she figure that Raiton was a bit rougher than just Suiton. The water had already been absorbed back into the ground. It was fine, she can just have a current directed to one of the dummies. With that, she did the handseals and the electric current moved in one direction and struck the dummy.
Oh this next one could work. With that, she used the previous Lightning Clones technique as she summoned up to five. With that, she had them go towards the dummy. At the same time, she had them explode, electricity crackling everywhere and hitting that was near by them. Not a bad idea at all. This could be useful over time. Nozomi stretched softly and decided to head over to the dojo for some taijutsu help, another uncharted territory for her.
