__ Kagami felt a rush as she appeared at the peak of the Spire. She nodded at Naoki and smiled deviously. "Well done." It was obvious that Naoki being planted in Arashigakure as a spy was a wise investment. She turned around to the rest of her agents. "Disperse across the village, we need coverage and intel. Only two may stay with me." Naoki and one other agent remained as the rest left the Spire to stake out the rest of the village. She needed them to spread out so that destroying the village from various locations would be more seamless. Little did they know that the whole village was on lockdown and all civilians were in bunkers so there was scarce to plunder. In any case, Kagami turned around and would walk into the office with her agents at her side. Once she stepped over the threshold into the room from the foyer she saw two men watching television. The three figures would be seen in the doorway by the Arashikage's clone and companion from their seats. "Where's the Arashikage?" Kagami asked in a tone that was almost eerily plain. Despite this, she was confused as this was not the scene at all that she imagined for her grand assassination of the Arashikage. She remained unsettled and on her guard for any form of combat or ambush to ensue.

Shinji was caught off guard when the door opened up to reveal the Arashikage.... Watching cartoons? He didn't know what to say. If the head of their village was aware of the events transpiring outside, but was content enough to sit back and watch television, maybe Shinji was worrying for no reason. Either way he stepped inside and made his way over. He thought of speaking in protest of his fear, but he realized there was no sense in lying about it. He was terrified.
He had never seen the show that was displayed on the screen. The animation quality was shoddy at best, but he let it slide since Lord Arashikage seemed to be enjoying it. Shinji tentatively took a seat, holding Yuugure so as to keep the weapon from hitting the floor. The crab on the television almost made him laugh. What a cheesy monster for a show like this. A large crustacean that just gurgles loudly and grabs things with its claws. Surely the producers of the show could come up with something better than that for the hero to face.
Shinji's inner review of the show was interrupted as a woman appeared in the doorway with two henchmen. His eyes went wide as he stared at them. He had never seen any of the three before, but he couldn't tell from her plain tone if she was an enemy. Rather than speak, he remained quiet. If the Arashikage knew of what was happening outside, then it stood to reason that he knew who she was as well. Friend or foe, Shinji was not going to give away any information until he knew for sure what was going on.
Obei appeared out of the wormhole same as Naoki and the woman clad in blue. She quietly stood beside them while simply walking through the door with them as the village would be razed to the ground. It would survive, thankfully. The party was quickly moving as the towering oni steeped foot in time with them. Kagami spoke as calmly and cheerfully as possible as she demanded to see where the Arashikage would be present at. The Uchiha to her side reminded her of Sandayu's sibling. Did that mean she would be from the same family? Or was that being kind of rude to assume? Were all Uchihas from the same parent? How confusing. Very confusing.

"Shhh. This is my favorite part bloop." Toso would say as Kagami inquired the whereabouts of the kage. The fight scene between the crab monster and the hero known as justice man had just ended a fierce punch to the monsters chest bringing it to the point where it fell on its back and began to bleed out its blue blood. The triumphant hero would stand looking down on the monstrous beast before exclaiming. "HAVE ANY LAST WORDS FOUL BEAST!" of course from all the earlier scenes thus far the raging crab creature seemed anything but intelligent. However, it was in this scene where the hero was about to slay the monster that the monster spoke and what it said was in fierce contrast to its earlier displayed behaviors as it gurgled its last breathes.
"Tell my son...and the village I'm sorry..I failed...all I wanted was for them to have a better life...I always.. did have a bad temper...*dying gurgle* a touching moment now. The music sad. Cue the rain as the hero who had brought this once monstrous creature to the brink would realize a misunderstanding was made. He cradled the creatures exo-skeleton in his arms. "Kanikai! You cannot die yet! Where is this village! Why why did it come to this!" weakly the crab beast pointed to the ocean in the distance and then to what appeared to be some kind of factory dumping its pollutants into the ocean. "I wanted to handle this peacefully but...buuuuu..""BUT WHAT! BUT WHAT!...KANIKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAI!" the hero would shout to the raining heavens the water streaming down his face to hide the warrior's tears.
The watchers would be given cuts to a flashback. The crab monster was living in a society of his own. Then humanities pollutants started to spread through there waters and society. His people sick he would tell his son to watch the town while he and his mother would venture to the surface. Although the scene that unfolded when the couple arose was abject horror and prejudice. Creatures from the sea the humans did not understand attacking and fleeing from them, and then the scene of his beloved wife calling out to the crab beast before she was run through with blades and it all pieced together what incited his rage to begin with. The audience would know but hero would be left unfullfilled. He would stand and wipe away the tears and look to the body while the onlookers cheered on justice man for his victory. But this was no victory for justice man. "Worry not Kanikai I will find your son and together I will make things right! NO! We will make things right! Humanities greatest villian...Is humanity itself!" the scene panned to the factory a looming shadow of the villains that would reside within that justice man would have to face. The 'NEXT TIME ON SEIGI OTOKO!' would roll and it would show a confrontation with a crab son who would not find forgiveness for his fathers killer so easily and then a scene of the son and justice man running down a hall with green slime chasing behind them. He'd turn off the tv with a click.
"Ah, bloop. Wasn't that nice? A refreshing reminder that even villains while their actions and appearances may seem violent in nature often have a story behind them and sometimes you can fail to find this story before it winds up being too late ..if you never take the effort to try and immediately yield to your prejudices it may result in the loss of an innocent life and greater burdens." The chair turned around like in one of those "so you've been out past curfew" type of deals. Overall his voice seemed to sound quite pleasant and inviting...if not offputting because of how calm he seemed. "Kagami I presume? The only one I could imagine breaching the defense having been laid out so quickly would be none other than the leader of the attacking party I've heard so much about no? Bloop. There's some sake in that cabinet over there. Bottled Oolong bloop. If you prefer as you can see there's some fresh brewed green tea on my desk. Do help yourself I assure you there are no traps and nothings poisoned...ah but you can never be too careful am I right bloop."
Toso's movements were far from sudden, they were lax in all manner of ways as his arm stretched noodle like towards the teapot about six feet away from where he was sitting to pour himself a cup while also filling the other across from it should Kagami decide to indulge him. Toso would then reel his cup and tea plate back to him and begin blowing on it to cool it down before sipping. This indicating it was definitely not poisoned, that or you'd have to have next level paranoia and come up with a hair-brained theory that it was but the man was immune. "So. The one of whom I assume to be Kagami. What's your story? It was rather unfortunate Mr.Belamos didn't have the time to share it with me." He'd place the teacup back down on the tray with a notable click. "Ah, forgive me first I should introduce myself and answer your question. I am Tosokurui Ashikoki Hojo. None other, than the current enacting Kage of Arashigakure." Straightforward. Hide the identity in the face of the enemy. That was one of the most basic rules of combat and Toso or rather this Toso clone wouldn't hide this from Kagami. His identity as Kage even when she had earlier inquired their whereabouts and the inclinations that were implied by it being nothing but the utmost likeliest violent he'd bare himself.
Kameyo ran from the temple where she hadn't begun senjutsu training with Hajime before her own sage mode had alerted her to a sense of malice coming from the Spire. She busted into the room with a kunai in one hand for any immediate assault and one hand poised for a somatic motion of some sort. Her skin was visibly moving as her tendrils threatened to burst out of her skin at her anxiety and panic. Finally, her sage mode gave her the appearance of unnaturally large eyes as well as some fish features such as a slimier appearance to her skin, some scales scattered beside her stitch marks, and a slight blue tint to her skin altogether. "Toso, there's-" she cut herself off, eyes landing on the presence she detected the malice from - a woman wearing foreign clothes by the side of two seeming accomplices.
She wanted to fight, but she was seeing something completely unnatural in this scene. If this was the war she was warned about, why in the hell was Toso so calm? "Is he under a genjutsu?" She accused, more than asked, though her voice wavered on the last word and belied her threatening poise with genuine concern for his wellbeing.

Entering the room along with Kagami and Obei the Uchiha stood on the side of kagami, just slightly behind. Obei standing on the other side the Oni would dwarf the other two women. The three women seemingly interrupting some Netflix and chill. Naoki's Sharingan simple blared a bright crimson as she'd just stare at the situation glancing between the two men. It would be wrong to judge. Her mother taught her better then that.
A simple question asked by Lady Kagami retorted with far to much jabber. Irritation could been seen resonating throughout the Uchiha. When the clone claimed to Toso himself Noaki couldn't help but lash out. "You dare lie to lady Kagami!" Her tone vicious, purple fuuin inscriptions rapidly covered her skin as a field of chakra expanded from her to cover the whole room and than some. "If you can't fool my eyes how dare you think you can be so disrespectful to Lady Kagami! We have no business with a clone!"Attempting control Toso's clone another person seemingly made their grand entrance. A stench of fish causing Naoki's more base nature to lash out. Licking her lips out of reaction as the new comer fish girl raised her concerns, kunai in hand.
"Shut up! Control your people and answer Lady Kagami's question! Or everyone in this room will be cut down." The blood lust Naoki was emitting was almost thicker than the air itself. If Naoki's attempt to clone seal Toso's clone had worked she'd be in full control of its actions. Leaving it no choice but to obey.
Jutsu used: Clone sealing Type: Spiritual Official Description: A glowing purple seal which is drawn upon the user's skin, encompassing all limbs. All clones in the area will submit to the will of the user, but retain their original abilities, techniques, etc. Guild Description: After performing several hand signs, a purple seal will spread across the skin of the user and will send out a pulse of chakra. This bubble of chakra will expand outwards to a distance of half a mile, uncaring of any physical objects in its way. It will latch onto any and all clones within its range, transferring the control to the user, while keeping their upkeep cost to their original owner. Duration is until the clones die, but any chakra drain continues from the one stolen from.

Shinji was a bit caught off guard at the Arashikage's casual response to the woman addressing him. His head swiveled from one to the other. On one hand, the woman was an unknown to Shinji; on the other, their commander in chief had just made it clear that she was the leader of the group attacking the village. He had come to try and assist in protecting Lord Toso if the enemy had broken through the defending forces, but here he was alone in a room with the leader of the enemy and two of her followers. He was completely out of his depth.
If he wasn't already, the sheer amount of malice emanating from the darker haired henchman, who he had recognized as an Uchiha by the appearance of her sharingan, froze him in place. The exception to this being a slight tremble in his hands. The fear gripped Shinji by the throat and silenced him completely. The wave of chakra that had come off the Uchiha girl was accompanied by a series of markings spreading across her skin. Some type of sealing? It was unlike anything that he had seen before. His eyes were fixed on her, Shinji's mind clouded by the blood lust coming off of her, so much so that he didn't realize that Kameyo had joined them, or that it was revealed that the Arashikage beside him was nothing more than a clone.

__ Kagami became irritated when she was shushed so that they could finish their cheesy program. She stood in the office with an annoyed expression contemplating how she would skin these two for ignoring her. Before she could take action the show was over and the television was powered off. She stood in the middle of Obei and Naoki and another agent but accepted the seat she was offered. She moved a chair to sit across from the kage at his table. Without hesitation, she accepted the tea and took a sip after the kage. "This man is being quite hospitable to the people who are destroying his nation." Kagami mused on this internally as she warmed her hands with the teacup. She curled up comfortably and put her bare feet on the chair with little regard for manners. This woman displayed control in her comfort in the environment. Even her posture radiated her absolute confidence. Her carmine eyes glanced over at the young male who was shaking on the couch and smirked in the satisfaction that she was inspiring such fear despite how collected Toso seemed. "I understand. Belamos has a bit of a crush on my husband and probably didn't shut up about him. He doesn't talk about me much because he's ashamed that I played him like the fool he is. I convinced him that he would be the king of Kogarashi and he actually fell for it for a while. You know he probably wants your position, right?" Her tone was casual especially given the fact that she was talking about deceiving a man who is the son of a god. She was also attempting to plant seeds of doubt in the kage about members of his ranks. "So am I supposed to be the big scary crab in your childish cartoon? I'm here as a liberator. Your village sent plenty of villains after me for five years in the form of hunter ninjas. Wanting to kidnap a child for a bijuu that she had no say in acquiring. That doesn't sound like Justice Man behavior to me." Kagami took one large gulp of her tea as her faithful agent cried out and made an attempt to seal the clone. Kagami put her feet on the ground and looked at the doll fish girl who had entered shortly before. A chill went up Kagami's spine as Naoki took command, defended her honor, and took action on her behalf. Kagami flashed a quick glance of desire at her. She hoped in this instance that Sandayu might allow her to take Naoki as a paramour. She only wanted one man in her life, but why not a woman as well? She sat up and looked at the clone with a mask that suddenly displayed rage. Kagami disrespectfully threw her empty teacup against the wall and smashed the porcelain. "Now then, I didn't come here to talk to a clone. If you're man enough then face me as your true self, look me in the eye, and try to tell me that what your village did to me wasn't wrong." Venom filled Kagami's words with hatred from years of anger and resentment. What happened to Kirigakure and then the rise of Arashigakure is what drove her to Kogarashi to begin with and it was all coming out now.

Hajime barged in with his Sensei, Fish Sage Kameyo! His blades drawn, he could see through foul devotees before them, a few other Nin, and their Kage. He kept his mouth shut blades held at the ready, eyeing everyone in the room. Well he kept it shut till one of them out that they could do everyone in this room, in. "Hey, b***h!" He bellowed out that profanity, quaking at her arrogance, what ever they had burst into, their Kage seemed as calm as can be. As cooperative as he could be, knowing his Kage. This woman has the audacity to yell and scream and threaten them all with death. "You need to learn some manners," He was pointing his serrated Katana at Naoki. "and don't ever underestimate Toso's Shinobi, don't underestimate him either or I'll kick your a** all over this room." What ever had caused that feeling back at the Temple was immediately forgotten, his blood was boiling, but he took a deep breath. He wasn't gonna do anything rash, unless he had already. Maybe calling her a b***h to her face wasn't the most rational thing...oh well! Hajime was focused on the Uchiha solely, everything else that was said now, not directly to him, was drowned out.
The clone closed its eyes as Kagami's associate flooded the area with a wave of purple. He'd then open his eyes and look at her and apologize. "Pardon, seems I misunderstood the inquiry. Now that you're here my true self and I will likely switch places. Well. bloop. We would. If I knew where they were, I'd have done so already. However, your associate has made me rather incapable of doing much for myself haven't they." The clone would turn itself to the armed Kameyo. "Lady Kameyo if you could please stand by for the moment." The clones head would then look back to the leader. Her feet on the counter. The kages eyes shifted towards them. It wasn't so much as he found it rude as it seemed to incite something in his memories involving childhood traumas and his middle name. Brief flashbacks of getting trampled and his middle name mocked aside.
Naoki would find the clone was incredibly inefficient. At most, it had the base twenty chakra that comprised it and that it was made of ink but carried the same properties of a shadow clone. What it could do combatively was nothing spectacular in the slightest. If Naoki made any demands such as 'tell me where the real kage is' where it would be forced to comply she would receive the honest answer. It didn't know. The real Toso was trapped inside a wooden horse puppet which prevented chakra from going in and out along with communications telepathic or otherwise. What caused its attention to shift back to Kagami was her shattering of the cup causing it to jump. Seeing as its consciousness was split and wandering expectant of being told what to do. But before it could it would say to Kagami, while not the true Toso would say rather flatly.
"But it was wrong." it would say. If Naoki would compel it to not lie to her boss that short sentence would be repeated. It was in this moment Hajime would come in and make his bold claim to which he would receive a cold response from the clone. Naoki would know it was genuine as it wouldn't be her making him say it but Hajime could assume otherwsie. "Hajime. Is that any type of language to be using when speaking to a lady. Enemy or not that is most disrespectful, and most hypocritical when stating one should learn manners, apologize bloop." another direct order from the Kage. Why did it seem like he was always picking on him and to issue an order in the face of the enemy to apologize to them? How shameful it must have been.
Unless made not to the clones eyes would roam simply to get an account of who was in the room, it certainly was filling. The closest to comfortable occupancy in the office was six up to ten would perhaps fit but rubbing of elbows would have been frequent. There was a woman who nearly took up two people alone. A pair of knockers that would make his father bend the knee. The threatening girl who had placed the seal, Kagami, Hajime, Shinji, Kameyo, himself six. Six people in this small space.
Kameyo felt a surge of pride at Hajime's entrance, though Toso didn't appear to agree. She continued to remain poised to fight, but did not make any move to eject her hearts into defending creatures at Toso's request. She watched the one with the purple seals and the one that was evidently Lady Kagami. She talked of a bijuu and crimes against the village that she was completely unfamiliar with. "Whatever crimes this village is guilty of, I think bloodshed is a far cry from the solution. The worst kind of victim is one that makes another," she sneered as her hearts beat against her chest in a quick cadence. She couldn't wrap her head around why Toso was so calm, but surely he had a plan in place. Maybe they would all end up in his ink dimension again. "Imagine thinking you could liberate people from their home, against their will," she said derisively under her breath, though it was likely audible to the rest of the room. She rubbed the handle of her kunai as she waited for the shinobi with the seals to make good on her thread to cut them down.

This was starting to get annoying. Like bees attracted to honey, the longer they stayed the more people would come. Evident of the orange haired new comer with the foul mouth. Calling Naoki a b***h a sharp glare was directed to the swordsmen. Her Sharingan staring straight into his own eyes. Would he look away like a coward or be a man and confront Noaki's glare like a man? His fate was his own after all. But there's a saying staring a uchiha in the face.
Toso coming to her defense surprisingly before she would zip around via flying thunder god and make good on her promise. The clones words greatly entertained and delighted the Uchiha princess. Hajime being reprimanded and forced to apologize. Naoki's expression became extremely smug as a smile stretched across her face, her sharingan still intensely staring at him. "Yeah that's right apologize like the trash you are, your kage ordered it. Why don't you get on your knees to while you're at it. It's where thrash belong after all~" Her tone nonchalant she'd speak in such a condescending way that it could get under anyone's skin. Shinji took in the events unfolding before him with a grain of salt. The lady sitting across from them, prior to shattered the Arashikage's cup that he had so graciously offered her, began spouting what he could only assume was nonsense. Toso hadn't been in charge for long. It didn't seem possible for him to have a direct hand in whatever had transpired in her life before now. Even if the previous kage had given the order to kidnap her, why does that translate to destroying the entire village? It made sense in his mind for something of that nature to be directed at the individual who had caused her torment instead of going on a rampage of this scale; then again, he knew that the mind could warp things to such a degree that even an insignificant setback could become the fire that starts genocide. Something akin to a mental butterfly effect.
The Arashikage's clone spoke as if he were under the control of the Uchiha girl, but Shinji's already overflowing panic was added to when he mentioned that he was unaware of the actual body's location. Being only a clone, if the situation devolved any further, then those in the room were merely subject to the mercy of the enemy forces. He couldn't agree more, however, that what had happened to this blue haired enchantress was incredibly wrong. A young child being kidnapped and forced into housing a bijuu was torture that he couldn't begin to comprehend. His eyes shifted momentarily from terrified to apologetic. Even if had happened long ago, he couldn't stop the guilty feeling that rose up within him for growing up in the village that caused her such pain. His loyalty remained unwavering, but he made a mental note to never fall into such corruption.
When Hajime rushed in and blared profanity directed at the Uchiha girl,Shinji couldn't help but crack a small smile. If it wasn't for the intensity of the danger, he would have even chuckled. The tension in the room was palpable, like a thick syrup that stuck to his skin. It was enough to drive a young boy mad, yet the absurd interruption that Hajime provided was enough of a comic relief that it kept Shinji sane. He quickly covered his smile when the Uchiha girl showed obvious displeasure in his words. The Arashikage did as well, but that was to be expected. He seemed to prioritize mannerisms over most else. A man deserving of the title kage, and even more deserving of respect.

__ Events were unfolding in the cramped office quite fascinatingly. The kage agreed that what happened to her was wrong. The fact that the sanbi was missing from Kirigakure and that Arashigakure believed that bijuu to be their own property was considered wrong in the new Arashikage's eyes as well. This man was not an apologist for his own village like Chie was. At least that was her impression of him so far. Kameyo's misguided view was more along the lines of what Kagami expected to hear. Shinji continued to sit quietly while tensions increased dramatically between Naoki and Hajime. Kagami could not help but enjoy listening to Naoki put him in his place. For now she would turn her attention to Kameyo. "Bloodshed begets bloodshed, my dear. The UHV wanted their smaller villages to be stronger so they started killing. Shiro wanted an empire of villages so Kumogakure started killing. Kogarashi is fighting to stop the villages and their cycle of misery. If the people of this village knew any better then they would no longer support such a corrupt system. The hidden villages are a societal system based on violence. Kogarashi didn't start that fight, it's finishing it." Kagami spoke to both Kameyo and Toso's clone. When she rested her gaze on the clone under Naoki's control she paused for a moment. "If you're a shadow clone then why shouldn't I just off you now? The memories will transfer to the real kage and he'll know to come here and see me." This was her current plan unless he was a generic clone or one of the many other varieties that would not transfer memories.

Sakkakugan Attribues • Life Sense | Within 100 meters, any type of life is able to be seen as a bright glow, when even the Byakugan cannot see it. • Potent Illusions | Genjutsu performed while Sakkuguan is active are treated to cost an extra [5] chakra per rank of the genjutsu to Kai. • Sixth Sense as the First | With a stationary body, Kagami can detach her vision and walk around to look at things. Cannot physically move during this. • The Gift of Life | Kagami may trade her life for another's, resurrecting them if they were recently killed.
Sanbi Attributes Chakra Cloak Version 1: Basic Effects • Slight fortitude boost. • The host will begin to draw in ambient water towards itself slowly from the environment, drawing in a C ranked amount per post. This water will fall from the sky, rise from the ground, whatever so long as it is coming towards the host. It pools and rests around its feet and stays within an area of 10 feet. • Host can breathe underwater.
Chakra Cloak Version 1: Advanced Effects 2/10 Advanced Effects: • The Sanbi can take one of the user's activations to cast any illusion or enchantment genjutsu that the host knows using demon chakra. Doing so adds on another primary sense at the host's discretion, and increases the targets that it can affect by one where applicable. The cost is increased by half of the original technique cost on the demon's reserve. • Mild fortitude boost. • Suiton jutsu used by the host overwhelm ninjutsu of the same rank. They also lose their elemental weaknesses.

Saiken would say attempting to reach out to her brethren on the other conscious plane. "I cannot speak for Kaileer, Shiro was a jingoist, and the twin kage sought peace through provocation which at its core is no different than what you claim, the fact the strike witches they dispatched to Uzugakure never returning evidence of that...and of course the fact they themselves did not come back. bloop." The squid would sheath his weapon by attaching it casually to his hip but never his eyes leaving Kagami's body staring intently with an analytical gaze before firmly and without shaking affix themselves to her eyes. Steely greys would meet her red. "Yet you know little of me and my rule, mostly due impart to it having just begun. For you see, you and I are in wholehearted agreement. The system was, has, and currently still is founded on lies deception, and death all for the sake of meeting the expectations of the land it resides upon."
The calm and complacent nature of the man did not change even though it now was for certain the real man. The Uchiha's piercing lens would make certain of that should she use it. Toso's free hand would take a relaxed posture as it flipped back as though it were presenting something. "Would you blame the child for the sins of its parent?" The kage would say easing into the logic that the past cannot be changed and should the child bare the sins of what was wrought in the past. Perhaps, this was why he was decided to be the Kage as oppose Belamos. Had their positions been swapped things would likely be nowhere near as pleasant as they were now and moreover it was doubtful that he'd be so keen to agree with the woman who so openly admitted to playing him a fool. Moreover, he had his doubts that the way the village worked would be any different from its past iterations. One that sought expansion above all else under the claim of a 'unified nation' for it was alway 'one particular nation or group' that knew better than the rest. It always was.
A brief aside to Kameyo but his gaze remained on Kagami. "The crime, Lady Kameyo is untold years of death wrought. Then disassociating responsibility, and keeping the masses ignorant. Bloodshed begets bloodshed as our guest says. His eyes were the most affixed than they'd ever been. His beliefs would radiate through them, not a single word could be read as hollow. "If a village as its whole is the representation of its kage. The village you once knew, is already dead. What will these acts of violence change? When this village falls another will rise, when I die another takes my place. Can you truly believe that when this is all said and done that in your heart you'll be satisfied? Kagami." Again without averting his eyes he'd point to the pa system on the leftmost wall. He didn't say anything about it, however, perhaps he did so to incite whatever it was that Kagami truly wanted. Whatever that was, be it a confession of the sins the village has done from the kages own mouth or for her to tell the entire village of what she believed it to be. In the end if Kagami's true desires were for the sake of liberating the people and not senseless bloodshed Toso was opening up that path to understanding and if she herself took that device to belt out her agenda Toso would learn more about the woman whom the villages had wronged and what she had endured that had her resort to this.
