In the midst of being terrifed for her life, Mera rounded the corner, trying to avoid getting absolutely throttled for her less than stellar moment. It was an accident, she swore. She had more self-control than that, didn't she? Apparently not. Pagoni would flip. She'd deserve it, if she wanted to be honest with herself. Rude rude, rude. Even if the other troll deserved it.
She continued to run, trying to control her breathing for a good pace. Then the buggy sped along, tripping her into it, making her grab on for the ride.
After a momentary scream, she realized as such. She was holding on to the the elusive mobile! Mera hastily pulled herself aboard, then froze. Now what? The buggy had a lot of removed panels and short circuits. So this was what other trolls were doing. She rummaged around, looking for anything left untouched. More panels, some wires. Unsure of what else to do, she chose to take the cue from past trolls and rip them on out. Finding nothing else of note, she jumped off before it could explode or something while she was there.

Maku didn't need to be told twice to get his charge out of there. He picked up Sephos and began to move very quickly, sheilding his troll with his hands, a grim look on his wooden face. "Rastin!" Sephos called out. He poked his head out of Maku's hand and tried to find him, but he couldn't. He curled up limply in their woody depths, miserable and exhausted. "I hope he's okay..." he murmured, dismayed that he had no idea...
Eventually, the robotic activity died down, and Maku even began to relax a little. They were almost at Sephos' dorm area, where Maku felt safe leaving him until he could feed and rest and get his troll out of this place.
And then he heard it. The sounds of something else going awry. A rumble like no natural thunder.
Maku wasted no time. He shoved Sephos into the nearest room and grabbed hold of the trundlebuggy. It bumped and jostled and carried the treebeast away as it clung to the carapace, leaving a miserable greenblood in it's wake.

Maku's boughs scrambled over the thing, trying to find some sort of handhold or vinehold or whatever that he could use to flip this unnatural, horrible thing over and destroy it. He had had enough of machines. He had had enough of invention. Once, he had been content to watch them from a distance, to accept their existance as part of the way of the world, the cycle of nature. But the treebeast saw the truth - these were unnatural and uncanny and - figuratively and literally- unhinged, and he had to destroy them. Before they hurt his child.
He let out a roar like the wrecking winds of a storm in a forest, and pulled at the buggy. It flipped, crushing him against the floor before righting itself. Maku dripped with green, translucent sap, but the treebeast - angered and awakened and not entirely in it's right mind - held on tightly and let himself be dragged along.
Sephos peered down the hallway, eyes very wide now in the relative silence of the buggy's passng. He gripped a basket of salves in one hand, knuckles light from the strength of his grip. He didn't want to go back out there, but his lusus was out there, and there were people he knew out there, and he couldn't sit still and hide. He had to go... just in case...

Forera dealt 2 damage to the Buggy.
Forera rolled up her sleeves and got ready to wrangle this buggy, thinking of the possible ways and watching it roll around so wildly it was almost out of control. Forera blinked. Hey, she was out of control! Maybe if she followed her instincts, she'd... Forera allowed herself not to think, and when the Buggy came toward her, everything went blank. The tealblood leapt in the direction she thought it wouldn't go, and-- Forera grabbed hold. Letting out a rocky WHOOP, the tealblood grabbed at wherever she could, tearing anything she grabbed apart and slamming her fist into it a couple of times. Forera grinned wildly before a hard lurch sent the tealblood flying backwards off, almost flailing. She landed with an Oomph, but the wires in her hand told her she'd done a lot better than she thought she did.
HP: 11 - 1 - 1 = 9 HP

Poe and his lusus tried to jump onto the trundlebuggy. His first thought, was that if he could just get on it, he could help steer it somehow, or figure out how to slow it... maybe he could jam up the wheels? But his second thought, as he grasped onto the buggy and slipped, was that it was probably a really, really bad idea. It rolled over him, barely missing important bits of his anatomy, like his head, where all his cool thoughts were stored. Then, bolts and nuts and weird small metal bits rained down on him, pelting him and Lanata in the face.

Forera dealt 5 damage to the Buggy.
Forera grabbed a pole nearby, twirling the weapon in her hand deftly before planning a running jump over to somehow land a hit on the dumb buggy. She got prepared, arched her back ready, before leaping and-- Suddenly feeling a huge weight on her body, it shoved her down, a loud disoriented scream falling from her mouth. "YAAAA-AhWHgh!" Her scream was more like a messed up cry for help, and the disguised blueblood fell flat on the ground weakly. The troll ontop of her seemed to have the strength to continue on, but she didn't-- She couldn't even breathe! She wheezed a few times before letting out a loud sigh. "HelllpPPpp!!" She called, knowing that if she kept at it, it was possible she'd get truly wrecked. She needed help.
HP: 8 - 1 - 2 = 5 HP

Maku attacked the buggy again, managing to get a root tendril under some part of the carapace before a sudden bump tore him loose. Trailing green-hued resin, he was propelled forward.

Before the treebeast could react, there it was - a child. A wall. Disoriented from the too-fast movement and the sudden impacts, he shook the leafy, bruised, cracking twigs of his head and looked down. His sap thrummed through him, carrying only anger and the need to survive and, in turn, to preserve his child and his future sapling.
He made a sound that was mostly felt in bone and sinew, and tried to stagger to his feet, to put down the trundling monster once and for all... but, amid the creaking and groaning, he knew that something - or a few things in his leg-like roots - had broken or were battered. It would take time.
And right now, Maku was not patient.

Sephos ran towards where he heard the commotion, assuming that his lusus was there and really really hoping that he wasn't. There was a scream - unmistakably 'help' and he turned the corner to see someone bleeding, teal, and clearly upset. He rummaged in his basket for something suitable - a salve he'd made and then wrapped in a leaf ; bandage and medicine all in one. It was a stimulant, wound cleaner, and healing agent all rolled into one. And it smelled like fresh cut grass, which was nice.
"Here." he grunted, unwrapping it and then slapping it really hard onto what looked like the most aggregeous wound he could reach. "That will help." More crashing and commotion, and Sephos was back up and careening forward, a few more unused leaves fluttering out behind him from his basket.

Forera dealt 7 damage to the Buggy.
Forera tried her strategy again once more, flexing her shoulders before cracking her neck and managing a quick neck cracking before planting both feet on the floor firmly and cracking her knuckles. She was definitely getting ready to grab on. With a leap in the Buggy's general direction, the teablood grabbed a chord on it, but felt her bum sliding harshly on the floor. Forera growled, slamming a hard punch into it before her head bumped right into it, and it knocked her out of commission for a few minutes. However, her hands were still latched onto it. Forera woke up only after her body slammed into some metal rod, pain etched on her face, hand releasing the chord and groaning.
