He was happy she was willing to even be concerned. But, he wasn't too thrilled about being treated like a kid. That could always be an option too, I suppose, that or you could give me some pointers over the Xtranceiver.” It felt good to have someone like Leon and Isis in her corner, she was truly grateful for the wisdom that they were willingly parting with and helping her along to prepare her for her first contest. She hoped that she could do well and make them all proud. It was something to aim for as a third goal for herself along the way. Leon offered her his number and she happily took it, whether just for grooming advice or maybe even just to keep in touch, she planned to call both of them in the future. Between Isis’ suggestions, Leon’s grooming advice, and the introduction to other friends, Dumuzi was starting to feel a little bit confident about doing well in her first competition. Dumuzi got lost in her own thoughts for a while as the conversation floated between Isis and Theo. Though what Theo said gave her some sort of pause in her mind. Theo was hoping for all the HM’s and badges in Kalos –which was fair and logical seeing as that was his starting region. But… Dumuzi wasn’t going to have the luxury of waiting for him to collect those badges while she prepared for the contests. It kind of seemed like it would mean that they would have to split up for a time, at least. Honestly, it seemed fair for both of them – Dumuzi wasn’t going to have to drag him around to contests in another region so that her pokemon did start to disobey her- if that happened she wasn’t going to be able to participate in the contests and win her ribbons- and she wouldn’t have to wait for Theo to finish making his round trip of Kalos to get his badges. Right now it unfortunately seemed like it would either be a one way thing or another and jumping back and forth between the regions didn’t seem like it would make sense for either of them. Hmm… it was quite the conundrum though it had a simple solution. But really, they would only have to stay a part as long as it took for them to get all their ribbons and badges respectively before they could hook up together again. At least that way both could have their obedience of their pokemon despite going their separate paths. Theo did kind of have the luxury of being able to juggle pokemon around a bit so that obedience wasn’t an issue, but Dumuzi had kind of handicapped herself in that regard. She didn’t regret it, and it would be a good challenge for her, but there was still the fact that she had a limited amount of pokemon to tap into, and also limited resources for her pokemon to use and capitalize on as well. Theo didn’t really have the limitations and what not that she did.
Dumuzi was pulled from her thoughts when Leon teased her a bit when it came to learning all the steamy details about the fantasized meeting of himself and Isis. Dumuzi’s right cheek puffed out and she gave him a pouting look. ”What do you mean ‘when I’m 21’? Boo! You can’t keep this sort of information away from a romantic like me! That’ll bring bad luck you know!” Dumuzi dropped her pout and gently and playfully poked Leon in the side with her finger. ”Well, I suppose that I can let it go for now, I’ll just read it in your memoire when you finally get around to publishing it.” Finally approaching the Cape, Dumuzi let the vibrating beat rumble inside her being for a few minutes before looking sideways at Isis with an amused look on her face. ”Yeah, falling into that water doesn’t look like it would be very fun. Even if we weren’t in Yukata and could swim strongly.” She looked over at Kai though and gave the goof a big, friendly pat before rubbing his hide. ”Then again, if we do find ourselves in a sea water emergency, I’m sure this big, strong and handsome fellow would be willing to rescue us.” Dumuzi took a few moments to muse over the scene before she looked at Leon and grinned. ”Well, lead the way~!”

Alex was now seated on a bench, the comatose Bulbasaur cutting off the circulation to his leg and the unconscious Charmander snuggled up against his side. Alex...may have fallen into the fishing tank in his worry about Patches. He had a towel wrapped around him, and was poking his pokemon every once in a while, wondering why they weren't waking up.
Chica meanwhile was bored as bolts and decided to try her hand at a few nearby games. First she tried rings again but she still couldn't toss for skittles so, when the attendant was distracted, she ran up and slapped her last ring onto a bottle before zipping back to the red line she was supposed to throw from. With an angelic smile, she accepted her tickets and scampered off.
Chica puffed up her cheeks after nearly all of her darts bounced off the wall of scattered in the dirt. With a mighty heave, she tossed her last few like javalins and managed to pop some balloons.
Chica hopped her way to the top of an arcade game, one with the buttons close enough for her to play properly. Through a combination of feet, paws, tail, ears, and face, she managed to get the new high score. Pretty good.
Chica didn't really care about this fishing business. She electrocuted the pool of pokemon and scooped one out, but the angry ticket lady scowled and shooed her away, giving her just one ticket instead of...whatever one of those blue thingies was worth.
Autumn, instead of trying to play fishing again right away, decided to play a game for prizes instead. She managed to win the game, and after looking over the prizes available, she picked an odd smelling incense. This 'otta make up for her crappy game luck. She held on to it before wandering about, trying to decide whether or not she felt like fishing again.

Leon smiled as Dumuzi accepted his number. However, as Theo rejoined the group, responding to Isis, Leon sighed inwardly. The kid didn't sound that prepared, even though he insisted on not asking for advice. He wasn't sure if the boy was just over confident, arrogant, or... well, probably not well versed in how battles work. "Uh... well, not to talk down to you, but battling wild pokemon is nothing like battling trainers. A wild pokemon has no directions to follow. Much simpler to dispatch. But a trained pokemon... now that's a whole different battlefield there. Not only are you battling a trained pokemon, but also to an extent, the trainer. Not only are they giving their pokemon instructions to lead them to victory, but they could have put a lot of work into movesets that could devastate their opponents. I know you don't want advice, but you should probably consider trying some trainer battles so you can see what I mean." Leon commented. He couldn't hold that back, even if the boy would feel offended by it. It's just that it was kind of... well, wrong to assume you were prepared when you only ever fought wild pokemon. It was a mighty big difference from gym battles. Especially in Kalos. He heard that the latter gym leaders were really tough there, and would squash you easily if you weren't well prepared. Leon didn't have any name suggestions as Theo asked for them for his amaura.
The raven haired male smirked as Dumuzi pouted. "I'm not sure a young lady like you could handle the hot and steamy acts I'm capable of~" he teased, wiggling his eyebrows a bit. He chuckled a bit as she decided to let it go as long as she got to read their memoir of how they met. The girl managed to poke him right on one of his bruises, but it didn't show on his face that she managed to get a tender spot. Just like as Isis had pressed against his hidden bruises, it just didn't bother him too much. He had a pretty good pain threshold. "I'm not sure my writing would do it any justice, but I'll let you know when i get around to it." Leon commented with a smile. He didn't really think he'd actually go and write a story about meeting Isis. At least, maybe not to be published. He was pretty sure he already wrote down such things in his journal.
Kai grunted happily as he was brought into the conversation, getting up on his back legs to flex when Dumuzi suggested that he'd save them if they fell in the water. "Pfft- Kai, does that mean you're gonna steal my job, as well as all the ladies' hearts?" Leon snorted, giving his starter a pat on the back. He didn't really mind at all. It was good that his partner was interested in such things. There was no such thing as too much help when it came to lifeguarding on a beach. Kai gave a snort of his own, dropping to all fours again. He then turned and pressed his snout up against the side of Dumuzi's face, almost like kissing her cheek before grunting, wagging his tail.
At this point, Isis finally emerged from her hiding place against Leon's chest, having pointed out how close the water was. Leon wasn't too concerned about the water himself, though. "Come on, let's get groovin'!" he told the others, leading the way to the designated dance 'floor'.

Dumuzi approached one of her favourite games and happily gave it a spin. She took a step back and waited patiently for the wheel to eventually come to a halt. She was pleased that this wheel seemed a little better greased than the last one that she spun and as the wheel slowly came to a stop, it seemed to reflect that loving maintenance as the wheel finally came to a stop. 6 tickets! She would take it! Dumuzi accepted the tickets gracefully and added them to the pile that she was starting to tote around with her. Her bag was starting to get a little weight to it, perhaps she should cash in soon? Nah, later!

Dumuzi was hunched over the fish bowl again and trying to decide which fish she thought was going to co-operate the most with her as she was hoping to get some tickets. Dumuzi’s eyes focused in on a particularly cute looking little guy who seemed to stare at her with big, round eyes that called to her. She looked started to dip down with the paper net and started to fish that little cutie out of the water. She was hoping that it would co-operate, but the little angelic looking pokemon was a little devil in disguise. A gleam entered its little eye and it started to struggle and broke the net. Dumuzi gave the little pokemon a deadpan stare for a moment as she took her ticket. The traitorous little blighter!

Well, it seemed that she wasn’t really having a good game day today. Dumuzi’s aim was not at all good today and she was having a hard time getting those darts to poke those balloons, out of the ten that she threw she was able to get a whopping one balloon popped and that was about it. Maybe she was a bit over practiced with the art? Probably not, but it was nice to tell herself that to make her feel better. Dumuzi took the ticket and placed it with the others. She supposed that it was better than nothing, but hopefully her luck would turn around soon. It wasn’t going to be the end of the world if not, but it would be nice.

Dumuzi’s luck seemed to pick up a little bit with the ring toss, she had wrapped her sleeves up again like she had usually done and prepared to do what she had set out to do and ring some bottles! Dumuzi took aim and with an elegant flick of her wrist, she sent the first ring over the bottle. Nice! The second one followed suit with an aerodynamic elegance all on its own, that was two bottles with rings. Now for the third one… she took aim, but the ring didn’t quite get on the right spot and ended up falling off. Oh well, 5 tickets was certainly better than one or two! She claimed her prize and added it to the pile. What should she do next?

After a merely mediocre day at earning tickets, Dumuzi decided to unwind with some pinball again, she once more lost herself in the ringing and flicking of her wrists as she bounced the silver orbs around the surface of the table. As the score climbed higher and higher, she was starting to feel a little better about her less than stellar run of ticket grabbing so far. By the time that she used her final ball she had got a pretty decent score again, it may not have beaten her old records, but she was happy to leave her mark once again on the pinballing world. Huh, maybe she should see about bringing a pinball machine into her room at some point? It was an interesting distraction from things. She took her 7 tickets and added them to the pile before heading off again.
