Kakyo "Boss" Kaido, Head of the Oshu City Vultures
"I have the most loving, beautiful, understanding wife in the world...okay I said it, honey, you can stop poking me now, all right?"Landing in a new city had given him that same queasy feeling, but it wasn't quite as bad as last time...maybe because his dinner from before had a little more time to settle and digest. Whatever the case, he was landing around a station that appeared to be walled off against invasion...probably the so-called Harutopian Faction that occupied part of the city, keeping the demons and the invaders coming to break them apart out. But none of them were his target, what he was looking for was a Summoning Terminal where he could draw a Trumpeter from. There was no frame of reference here, but if it was anything like Oshu it would be a fair walk from the station, though he hoped that it wouldn't be quite as chaotic as his two run-ins with Benetnasch there. A walk through some low-level demons sounded absolutely pleasant right now.
Instead, he had a Ghost Q staring him down and dancing, challenging him to some sort of contest.

It was following him everywhere! Like a God Damned ********! And wherever someone who was the BAWS went it just started following him there, lured like a moth to a flame. And no sooner had the Vultures' Boss begun to delve into Okina City than the Turnip of Destiny rounded the corner and sent him diving into the alleys just out of the path of a fatal attack, leaving him once again with frayed nerves, singed hairs, and a sense of impending doom like you wouldn't believe! His breath escaped in ragged catches and his hand clutched his jacket and then his arms, legs, just making sure everything was still there and in place. s**t...he was almost sure for a moment that he knew what he needed to do...but now his brain was all scrambled.
Right. Terminal. Trumpeter...but where was it? He could follow the rumors and the movements of the locals, but the only way to know for sure was to talk to one or find it. Was it somebody from Inaba? He flipped open the phone curiously and the voice on the other end surprised him! It was Daichi! "Hey! Boss Kaido...? I forgot to tell you that if you're going to the other cities, I have a good idea where you can find the other Trumpeter Summoning Terminals. We've got some of JPs old people here, so it won't be too hard to get information for you. If you aren't sure where to go to find them, just give me a call, all right? ...Anyway, we're all in this together against the Septentriones, first and foremost. I'll help you if I can! Good luck!"
That information was a godsend! His grin grew wolfish, and just when he had been prepared to lose a little heart he was running on gas once more! Now he knew where to find the Terminal in Okina, and unfortunately it was going to be somewhere in the guarded territory...but he had a good feeling he could sneak inside without too much trouble. And he wasn't there to fight, so there was that.
