"I'm sorry, thanks," she said tiredly, the tone of her voice changing, more friendly. Something had made her assume the full persona of her older sister for a moment. She had been dreaming of what happened, what she had done to that child. "I'll be in as soon as I wake up."
She hung up and crashed, but in a few hours she would make her appearance at HQ, fully dressed and ready to go.

And of course, as soon as she woke up and got geared up, she would be directed towards the testing grounds, which was located a few miles south of the building. It was an outdoor complex that had been used for training security forces, so it would do nicely for R.I.O.T. Five.
On the drive there, he explained the situation.
"All right, here's the deal before you get started. Any red markers on your visor will be hostiles or other enemy targets, green will be designated as friendly units, and blue will be your own teammates. Take note that the sattelite signal will be compromised if there is a jamming signal in the area, so your primary objective will be to get rid of it.
"That won't be the case on this training area, but it's a good thing to know. The visor also has a thermal vision mode that you can activate in times when you run into cold smokes or the jamming interference. Use it wisely.
"As for your objective, your main goal is to defeat all hostile targets in the area. Seeing as we don't want any accidents, your Opposing Force will be our own security teams intead of using robotics. You won't be using your own Sturmwinds, but modified versions equipped with a Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System and a blank-firing adaptor.
"That laser module attatched to the barrel fires whenever a blank round is let off, and you'll hear a noise in your radio that states you've been hit- just a beep. If you're hit in any vital area though, you'll be dead and that noise won't stop until you shut it off. All communications will be cut off at that point, so the best thing to do would be to lie down on the ground. That'll pretty much shut it off and let the monitoring teams know that you're out.
"You'll notice that your own equipment has a harness on it now- these sensors will be the targets that the opposing team will be aiming at. I know you all have already practiced this, so it doesn't need to be said that cover- and good cover- is essential."
With that, the truck would be parking near the complex in less than five minutes.
"Remember- just because this is a training scenario doesn't mean that it'll be easy."

Kanashimi Kurai "I'll be fine travelling through the night." "Good, I just hope we don't run into anything ont he way there..."
Meaning he hoped he didn't run into another monster like the Orc he gone after in the forest. Taking the lead Reinhart headed out of Aekea making sure Disa followed.
"Let's go."

She sat during the whole time with her arms folded across her chest.
"Sounds like a fun game, really," Adaire said, smiling apologetically "But I didn't come here to play laser tag. How about we let the team train, I want to do some sniffing around, I heard there are multiple disapearences among the full human population in the southern district, and I'd like to do some investigating today. Not to insult your team or anything, but they wouldn't have much of a chance if I don't have to worry about killing them. Yes, I'm grappling with some crisis of the soldier and morality issues lately, but my prowess is still fine."
"I'm sure I can figure out the helmet in my spare time, right?"
She looked down, not making eye contact, slightly paling, looking through the floor of the vehicle because she was lost in some thought.

"...You sure about that?"
After a pause, the security chief shrugged and informed a change in direction. They weren't at the training facility yet. "All right, then. But since you're a captain of a team that's supposed to act as a single unit, they're coming with. Looks like you're getting the crash course on this combat interface. I'm sure you'll inform us all of any valuable information that comes across, won't you Captain?"
ETA until Southern Aekea, twenty minutes. She would get a brief explination of the nuances of her new gear on the way there.

"Fairly sure," she said, sounding uncertain of herself, "I pulled some information over the Gaia-net about suspected underground humanity trade surfacing across Gaia. In fact, I contacted several sources while looking into the sale of human internal organs. Grossness, yech. Anyway, I arranged a time to meet someone about securing a new heart and a liver for a fictional friend."
She showed him a slip of paper with the address where someone was to meet this fiend.
"Simple as that, only I need someone cute, small, and innocent looking to pose as a civilian. Someone they would never dream to be a threat to serve as bait to draw these thugs out and get as much information as possible while they let their gaurd down.
Any volunteers?"

Some of the team members couldn't help but snicker at this- it was a ridiculous plan, and frankly there wasn't anyone in the group who was small enough...
"...I'll do it."
...Except Elise. She stood at just under five feet (around four-foot-seven), though she was age twenty-one. She looked innocent enough, and were it not for the fact that she knew how to shoot, she'd be a normal-looking individual. Black hair and green eyes that seemed to be quite serious about her option to head out.
"Just one thing, though... this whole setup seems too easy to me. You really think this is going to work, Captain? They might have a fail-safe."

"It'll work perfectly,"Adaire said, "I'll be going with Elise, a two woman mission. All we need is detailed information on what is being sold, how it is being obtained, where to get it, and who to get it from. I worked out a plan so this, shouldn't be a problem. I have a tracking device in my phone that can send an emergency signal to the team, but I doubt we'll need it. We'll have to stop for some quick shopping for civilian clothes. As far as arms, we can both get away with a fully loaded side arm, but that's it, unless Daniel has some cool spy gear like laser shooting lipstick."She pulled a small case out of her coat, opened it, and quickly placed two contacts in her eyes despite the jostling of the vehicles. When she looked down at them again her eyes were a bright green. "Okay, time for a two hour shopping spree Elise, my treat! Then we'll get dressed at the hotel and take a rented vehicle to the rendevous point."She needed a cute business outfit, something a little more suggestive than she usually wore but still profesional, she would have to pick out a dress for elise as well. Both would have to be loose enough to hide a side-arm.

Elise, for her part, nodded and grinned. It seemed that this would be one of those interesting missions. But hey, the more time they spent cleaning up, the better off this place would be. Soon, they were dropped off outside of a nearby shopping center close to the Southern District. It wasn't like there was anyone out here at the moment- anyone who would mind or notice the two of them anyway.
The store seemed to be open, though.
"We'll be nearby. Call when you need a pick-up, and we'll get this thing moving," the driver informed the Captain.

A small cavern situated in the cliff side of the Aeka foothills, the mouth to the cave overlooking the industrial structures of a town that thrived on mining and manufacturing. Plants and mills... wasn't much of a sight seeing venture, but it was well away from prying eyes and ears. So this is where Aiysin had decided to bring her startled charge.
The gate that had appeared in Leviathan, reformed in the center of the cavern as they tumbled through. The silver haired woman's grip had still been strong on Sunstrike, as momentum carried them backwards, or was it forwards? and down. As the salamander went down, the Gatekeeper went with him,
"Mmmmff!"
Falling against his chest with an awkward thud as she straddled his torso, glancing about to get her bearings.

Sunstrike landed hard, and on the bottom of the very small pile.
"Mmmphth." She currently had one of those very nice breasts pressed against his face as she looked around. While it was a very nice breast, attached to even nicer bits of female anatomy, he didn't really appreciate getting squished by strangers.
Hands found their way to her thighs hugging his chest and he gave her a light pinch to get her attention and air into his lungs.

"Eeep!!"
A shrill squeak escaped her, even as the fan in her left hand came down in a swift, but light tap across the top of his hand and she gazed down at him curiously. She was dressed all in silver and white, with the smallest accents of black. Even her hair and eyes were like fog... only her skin stood out in tanned contrast.
"Hey, what do you th--"
She blinked those eyes that seemed to swirl with mist at him before something registered on her face.
"Oh.... OH!"
She scrambled to roll off of him and let him breathe, offering him a hand to sit up.
"I umm. Sorry about that."

Sun let out a gasping breath and just waved his hand, trying to convey breathlessly that it was alright. He was pretty sure she didn't want to kill him, but Vahn certainly would if he came back and found Sun...
Where were they? "Where are we?" He managed to croak out, looking around the cavern and blinking in the darkness. Sun's nightvision always had been crap. The new "eye" helped, but it gave an odd feeling of disorientation that might have made things worse. Like seeing the world out of two different screens.
Metal scraped against dirt as he pulled his legs up into some semblance of a seated position.

"The cliffside of Aeka's foothills."
She had arranged herself in a kneeling position. She looked at his anxious face bowed first her head, then her entire torso in a graceful gesture.
"I'm sorry for spiriting you away the way I did Sunstrike, but my orders to keep you safe were absolute."

Okay, there was safe, and then there was SAFE. Sunstrike wasn't so proud that he didn't appreciate a hand lent out to him, but being kidnapped was an odd way of helping him up.
"It's alright, erm...miss." He'd wait for her name before continuing. "If I got a gold piece for every time it's happened I'd be wealthy by now..." Hell, technically he WAS wealthy...just what DID Sun do with all that gold he won from one HoH to the next?
His tone was light, but there was an undercurrent of stress that hadn't left since Vahn had taken off with the opposing team member...
He's going to think I've gone again... That was unacceptable.
"Sorry if this sounds vain, but is the interest just in me? Or are there others with gatecrashers hanging over their shoulders?"
