Mirai smiled softly up at Texas "It's alright. I want you to tell me everything that is bothering you, alright? You have been there for me this whole time and I want to be there for you too," she told him. "I'm going to stick with you no matter what. We will get through this whole ordeal together."

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas brushed his hand through Mirai's hair as she spoke, looking down at her. "Okay," he replied quietly. "I just don't want to put more on you than you're dealing with right now," he explained. "There's nothing we can do to change it anyway. No reason to stress out about it." And I just want to show them.

Mirai shook her head at Texas "I'll admit there is a lot of crap with my family going on but that doesn't mean you should push your problems away and hold them in. Trust me. As someone who has pushed by problems deep down and never really talked about them, it is a terrible idea," Mirai told him. "I want you to tell me everything that is troubling you. No matter what."

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas nodded slowly. "Okay..." he replied, remaining silent for a moment. "What if....something happens to me and I hurt you again?" He asked, voicing one of his fears he had been keeping to himself. "I just....last time it happened it was all so sudden and I was practically helpless. I don't want that to happen again. If I can't even defend my own mind then what kind of partner am I? How could you possibly trust me?" And I just want to show them.

Mirai paused for a moment after Texas spoke, she still looked at him in the eyes though. "Remember that fight you had with Atticus a while back? At the Valley of hidden Truths? Afterwards you ended up asking me if I would ditch you... And I said that I would stay by your side because you are my partner and friend," she explained. "I can't really tell you it's going to be okay... because I will never experience the hell that you have. I know it's scary thinking that something might still be in your head... I don't care though. I want to still be with you. Right from the day we met, I wanted you to be my partner and no one else. I really enjoy being with you and you have been there for me when no one else was. I trust you no matter what and I will stay by your side and fight with you through all of this as well," Mirai said.

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas hugged Mirai tightly when he heard her response, holding her against him as he let out a breath. "Hey Mirai," he whispered quietly. "...you're really soft." He leaned down and kissed her on top of the head. "Thanks....it means a lot to me knowing that you'll be there. When I first arrived in Death City I didn't know anyone. I barely had any idea who I was. But now...I never would have imagined I could be this happy." And I just want to show them.

Mirai smiled warmly up at Texas and hugged him back. She recalled the visions she saw of Texas and how lonely he seemed when he first came to Death City. "I am glad you are happy," she replied. "I don't want you to feel alone or scared or sad again," Mirai rested her head on his chest again as she continued hugging him back.

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas kept holding Miria. "Same," he replied, looking down at her. "You're.....really the only family I have, you know?" He told her after a moment. "I mean, I never had any biological family really. And I only met Shira and Atticus before I met you." And I just want to show them.

"Do you think it was a mistake? He hasn't said anything yet. But I could tell he was back when he created a huge door on his side and slammed it shut. Don't know if that means he's pissed or if that's just how he is..." And I just want to show them.

Mirai shrugged "Well he created that bridge in the first place... so if he gets mad and blames the whole thing on us, I can just turn it around and tell him it was his fault for not properly closing the bridge between both our realms," she explained. "Besides... according to SC, she went into his realm too. I know he will be more focused with that at the moment."

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas let out a breath and then laughed. "Yeah I bet he's a little T-ed off about that!" He said. "I wonder what she did over there anyway? I traced her resonance force back from the bedroom after you left and followed her entire route back to where she entered from the hole. Somehow she managed to avoid setting off the flowers but it seems like she more or less made a B-line for our bedroom as soon as she crossed in. Didn't make any side stops. I checked everything she came in contact with but it doesn't look like she did anything besides walk by, over, under, around or through it." And I just want to show them.

Mirai shrugged again "She went directly towards us because her main target with all of this is me. I am sure she probably went into Herald's realm just because it would tick him off. And I am sure it did," she explained.

Some men just want to see the world burn... Texas nodded. "Yes, from what you described that does sound like something she would do," he replied. "I imagine he's probably tearing up his realm as we speak. If our doors were open we'd be able to tell. But when they're closed our wavelengths and events in our realms are completely sealed off from each other. Though that might be...preferable at times." He leaned back again, looking up at the ceiling. "SC was sent to protect you..." he said quietly, sounding as if he was still trying to believe it. "What will you do with her when you come across her again?" And I just want to show them.
